Camp

SAMANTHA

Once I got to camp, I walked straight through the borders and to my cabin. Since I hadn't slept in a while, I lay down in my bed to rest. I never fell asleep. I could hear owls hooting and a few other sounds that one would hear near the woods and I could smell the naturally smell of it all. Everything seemed to distract me. After a while, I heard voices. The voices were arguing in a hushed whisper.

"You just had to show your face around here again, didn't you?" I heard someone, clearly Jason, say.

"She Iris Messaged me to help me! I know she hated to but she did and I'm sorry that I have to be the one that you're all stuck with to help you on this quest." Another voice, Tyler, whispered back.

I could hear them getting closer to me.

"I'm surprised you even know who her godly parent is anymore." Jason laughed bitterly.

They were outside my door. I quickly closed my eyes and snuggled into the fetal position as I faked sleep. I heard more whispers.

"Sam-" Tyler's voice called softly.

"Give it a rest. She's asleep. She needs to sleep." Jason said, calming down.

"Alright, but I have a few things I want to say to her while she can't comprehend me." Tyler responded.

I heard people leaving but I knew he'd stayed. I felt the bed dip and I felt him moving the hair that had been bothering me out of my face.

"I'm sorry, Samantha. I truly am so very sorry. I shouldn't have left you like that. What I did was a jerk move and I understand completely if you never want to forgive me or talk to me or even look at me again. I just did what I was told to do and I realized that sometimes you do have to break rules. I just wish that I could take it back. I wish we were okay again and that you weren't mad at me but I understand fully well that you are and why. And I know you aren't asleep, so please say something." he whispered.

Of course he knew. Keeping my eyes shut, I said the only thing that made since.

"I'm glad you understand, now leave."

And he left.

And my heart broke.

I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes, allowing sleep to engulf me, forgetting about the prophetic nightmares that sometimes came to me.

"Sophia!" Tyler screamed ear splittingly loud. He was craning his neck and thrashing his head in different directions. "Sophia!"

He'd yelled so loudly then that his voice almost gave out and the vein in his neck bulged. I knew how wrecked he felt, for some reason. The only thing running through my mind was, where is she? Would Brandon ever do the same for me? Get so worried? Next to me stood Jason as he and Jacob yelled along with Tyler and the blonde haired girl, Allison. I looked down, suddenly feeling a slight and gentle pressure to my waist. A young boy, no older than eleven, was buried into me as if for protection. His red hair was a tousled mess. I looked behind me, finding a blonde girl passed out, almost as if she was asleep but she had bruises over her face.

"Samantha," the red haired boy cried, following my gaze. "She just passed out. How do we help her?"

I peeled him off of me, gently, and yanked Allison a little too roughly to the ground in a kneeling position.

"Heal her." I said, looking around for someone but I didn't know who. Everyone else was still yelling for Sophia for some odd reason.

"I don't know how to heal anyone." Allison said, somewhat in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.

Anger bubbled inside of me for some odd reason. Of course I'd want someone to be healed but this girl had to be healed. It was important to me, this girl was important to me. The shy boy leaning against my back and hugging me around my neck from behind was important to me and I had to keep them both safe and alive.

"Heal her right now!" I screamed, almost as loud as Tyler had screamed for Sophia.

A huge and tremendous gust of wind blew by and caused her to fall from a kneeling position to her butt.

"I-" she went to protest until I screamed again.

"What kind of child of Apollo doesn't know how to heal someone?"

"I-"

"Samantha!" Jason snapped, kneeling beside me.

"Jason!" I snapped back.

"Calm down. Breathe." he insisted, almost begged.

"No! She's my responsibility! She needs to be healed! Right now!" I screamed louder, my throat becoming dry and raw.

"Samantha, calm down." Tyler said from somewhere behind me.

"You shut the hell up and don't tell me what to do." I snapped back, my stare hitting his with a cold glare. "You can take up for your girlfriend when Darion's not dying."

"Samantha-" Jacob begged.

"Shut up!" I screamed, "Just shut hell up!"

"Calm down." Jason pleaded.

"Shut the hell up!" I screamed, a sudden burst of anger busting inside of me. Electricity shot down from the Heavens, hitting in various areas, avoiding my group. The boy clung to me tighter. Air seemed to be swirling around us, leaving everyone else until they were gasping for air, begging for me to stop and crying whilst trying to breathe somehow. But it wasn't just hurting them. I was taking do much air and moving it around so fast around the girl, Darion, the boy and myself that I was actually suffocating all three of us. I'd been wondering how this was a nightmare, and I finally got my answer. I was losing control for the first time in months and I was going to kill everyone, including myself.

Sorry for the long wait, but here it is! I will definitively try to update a lot more!
