There is sort of like one more Arc before the story finishes. Also, I'm answering an idea. It would be a good idea to incorporate the Hashirama cells but since I never added the whole war thing, I don't plan to use that idea. If I did, it would create a plot-hole and I would have to review and add at least a bit of the war to show how the

Hashirama cells came to place.

Patientce Chapter 26: Marrige

Another elders meeting took place. This time, Only Naruto and Hinata were present. All the elders sat stiffly in a semi-circle, eyeing each other slightly, to see what this was all about. Hinata had addressed them and asked for a formal meeting to be held immediately after the funeral. Hyuga Hiashi sat beside his younger daughter in the corner. He felt this meeting would not end well. However, he had no say in the decisions the Elders made, even if he were the head. That was how the Hyuga estate worked. They only needed a "head" to show the outside world that there was one leader controlling the clan, even though there wasn't. Every decision was made by the elders, with a slight say by Hiashi and other important Hyuga men.

The two ninjas sat side by side facing the elders. Naruto's expression was firm as a rock while Hinata had a slightly more nervous look.

The Elder head spoke up, issuing her sharp voice towards Hinata.

"First of all, I would like you to explain to me as to why this man is present in the meeting, Hinata-sama."

Hinata took a deep breath. Glancing towards Naruto, she started to speak. It was now or never.

"The reason why I have requested for this meeting, and brought in Naruto-kun with me is... I would like to marry him. Officially."

The air turned icy immediately. The elders murmured amongst themselves, creating a shallow atmosphere. Hiashi expected as much, but looked at the elders. There face looked like they were about to explode. Talking about such a matter so casually was not a smart move.

"Are you in your right mind young lady?! We have just been relieved off Neji's funeral, and you plan to bring such a complicated matter into business? Furthermore, Haru came the other night, giving a formal resignation from this marriage and just left! Who are we to blame for all of this?"

"You can blame me Yuki-sama. However, I still plan to marry Naruto-kun."

"You think we will let you go so easily? I refuse, as the head elder! Who is with me?"

Slowly, many hands went up. Hiashi looked around the room. At this rate... She will be hopelessly outnumbered. His nerves steeled and Hiashi stood up.

"I suggest we think more carefully and put off this matter. We've just been through a tragedy. Let's think about this in a more sensible matter."

There was a murmur of agreement around the room. Hiashi's vague statement made sense to the elders. Hinata glanced at her father, puzzled by his help. She never thought him to be among the few people who thought differently than the elders. My resolve is already made father...

"No, I would like to settle this matter right now. And I'm taking no compromises. I will marry Naruto-kun, whether it is by your acceptance or disapproval."

There was stunned silence for a bit. Hiashi glared silently at Hinata. Does she not know of the situation she's facing?!

A smug smile spread across Yuki's face.

"Then we will give you two options, Hinata...sama. Either you get this foolish thought out of your head and settle back down...or you leave this Hyuga clan."

Today was the quietest meeting in the Hyuga clan. Beads of sweat poured down Naruto's back. He clenched his fists tightly. It was all he could do from not exploding in the face of that elder. Hinata had told him to do nothing and just sit there. But this was his limit. He stood up, slamming his fist on the palm of his hand.

"Don't joke with me! Hinata is the best leader you could ever have. If you decide to kick her out I'll-"

"Naruto-kun."

Naruto looked down at Hinata's shinning eyes. He softened up immediately and sat down. Whatever decision Hinata was about to make would sacrifice so much for the two of them. But she was ready.

"Yuki-sama, as I said earlier, I will not back down, no matter what. And I never go back on my words. If you wish for me to leave, I will rightfully do so. And I will marry Naruto-kun."

Hinata got up slowly to leave just as Hanabi spoke.

"Onee-san, wait! Are...are you really leaving?!"

Hinata smiled at Hanabi's worried face. She looks so much like Neji when she's worried.

Hiashi looked painfully at his daughter. Will I really allow this? He helplessly clenched his fists. He could never stand up against the elders like his daughter. She was so brave, just like her mother. Maybe it's better for her to go...

"Don't worry about me."

Before Hinata could leave, one last chilling sentence was given to her.

"If you want to leave, you will have to give up your eyes, Hinata."

Rude Much. So stuck up, that elder. Since I have a break, I'm finishing up the last remaining chapters, so expect the next chapter soon! Next Chapter will be longer.
