Sorry for the long absence. I just hope that those people who liked my previous writing can see what comes to happen to our favourite characters. There should be some intimate scenes, so WARNING: MATURE CONTENT. It will be the same for the next chapter.
"Your heart and my heart are very, very old friends."
Hafiz
Tessa hurriedly put on her robe.
"Hello, Will," said Tessa, "fancy seeing you at this hour."
"I have just came back from, um… business," Will said wearily.
"Shall I warm the dinner up for you?" asked Tessa.
Will replied, "no, I just wanted to see you."
Tessa noticed how stiff he talked, which reminded her too much of him trying to lie to her. She tried hard to shake that feeling off her mind, and managed to smile.
"Well, I am currently not dressed to receive. Shall we meet in the dinning room later, William?" Tessa asked, testing with his name.
William's mouth curled up a bit, and said, "Just Will is fine."
Tessa is reminded of the way he used to smile, that remarkable smile that warms up the winter and brings warmth in her heart.
Without thinking, she moved close and kissed Will. He hestitated, but repsonded quickly. She smelled his strong and musk scent, mixed with the smell of ash from his rune, old and new.
She then felt the touch of his tongue along her lips, and she welcomed him in. She was awashed with the familiarity of it all: the smell, the touch of his hands running up and down her back, the feeling she feels on her mouth, her hands and inside her. She craves him so, even after so long.
"Oh, Will. Why did you not come back sooner?" asked Tessa
Will waited, then answered, "I had a really important thing to do for you." But it was lost to the moment, and they continued in their passionate endeavour.
Will slowly unalced Tessa's night gown, her robe long lost to the floor. Yet it was Tessa's arduous task to take Will's full gear off. First his weapons, which were a lot, then his armour, then his garments, and then it is his undergarments. It took a long while it all to come off. By then, some of the heat has drained out of Will's body and eyes. Tessa knew whatever she said, she will turn him back on.
So she said, "Kiss me."
And he did.
With his increasingly fast caress and kiss, she forgot about her children, sleeping sound in their room down the corridor, her burden and motivation for the past three years. She forgot her duty to the institute, her identity as a widow, her friends who supported her through the hard years. But she did not forget the loneliness and abandonment she felt when Will was gone.
So she bit down on Will's neck hard, yet Will simply chuckled.
"Missed me?" mumbled Will.
"By the angels yes," exhaled Tessa.
