During a rather extensive sorting session in my computer files, I found several more of those. There supposed to be beta-read. Anyway here you go
She has a look in her eyes
Minerva was quite anxious. Meeting one's mother in law when one's 73 years old isn't something one would like to do every day. Her own parents died a while ago and she did expect to meet Filius's goblin mother. Her house was small, really small. If Filius was 3,5 feet high, his mother wasn't more than 2,5, including her heel. In order to come inside the House, Minerva had to transform in her other self then back when she was securely on the couch.
"You are expecting" Mrs Flitwick stated as soon as they all had tea. Minerva was taken aback.
"How do you…?" It had taken her 5 weeks of nausea, 8 pounds and one hour of a begging Filius for her to go and see the nurse. She still remember what happened there.
"Oh my… Minerva…" Poppy choked.
"What is it Poppy?"
"I can't see how it is possible with your age, but you're pregnant"
Minerva blinked.
"Minerva? Are you all right?"
"Pregnant?" She softly whispered.
"Have you been intimate with anyone?" The nurse asked.
"Of course I have. I'm married."
"We'll do some test to understand." Poppy concluded.
"How did you figure, Mother?"
"She has a look in her eyes."
Minerva didn't say a word.
"How on earth did you do that?" The inquisitive mother asked.
"Well… like two adults, Mother"
"She was speaking about my age, Filius."
Mrs Flitwick nodded.
"I received four stunners in the chest, two years ago. It took me a while to recover but my hormones started to work again."
"Why is that?"
"I used a spell to make me barren while I was married to Albus Dumbledore. The amount of magic lifted the spell."
"Well, Filius. You married late in life but I must confess you did it good. The widow of Albus Dumbledore… I guess I can't imagine how much gold is in her vault."
"Mother!" Filius squeaked.
Minerva put a smoothing hand on his knee.
"I don't mind at all."
She bent on her knees and muttered a number in her mother in law's ear. She beamed.
"I'm sure we will be good friend!"
