Smurfing the Spell
"What are you doing, you stupid cat!" Grouchy gripped handfuls of Azreal's fur into his fists as it ran deeper into the forest, "Hey—hey! Where are you going!"
The bumpy cat ride seemed to settle after Grouchy already felt the aftermath boiling in his stomach. He was beginning to feel sick, wanting off this cat before it decided to do anything else. Taking a look at the female smurf in its mouth added to his nausea.
"You were suppose to take Papa, not Vexy!" Grouchy snapped.
They had entered a lonesome hut, filled with cobwebs and little furniture. Potions bubbled inside foggy tubes and glasses, plastic pipes connecting them all to a large brewing pot. Each potion dripped into the pot, a large liquid potion of who-knows-what. From amidst the shadows, a hunched, aged man came out.
"Azreal, you're back, and you've brought—" he gasped, plastering a look of fake surprise upon his worn face, "Oh, Azreal, you were supposed to bring Papa!"
"What am I supposed to do now, Gargemel? I can't just go back, I don't know how to go back!" Grouchy spoke, upset from both the cat's stupidity and his lack of control over his sick stomach.
"Then you don't go back!" Gargemel shouted, shushing Grouchy in the process.
"Then how is this supposed to work? How am I supposed to go back to the way I was?"
Gargemel's eyes rolled in annoyance. Containing himself to avoid snapping, he whispered, "You stupid smurf,"
"What did you call me?" Grouchy put his foot down, climbing down Azreal to look up at Gargemel's giant figure.
"You're stupid! Did you think I cared about helping you?" He laughed, "I can't believe you trusted me so foolishly,"
"B—But I thought—"
"You thought wrong, and whatever you're thinking now, it's too late to escape!" He pointed a long finger towards Grouchy, "I'm going to bottle you up, and watch you rot away! But don't worry, I'll need you at some point," he reached down to take Vexy into his fingers.
Grouchy growled, "What are you going to do to her?"
"I created her with my brilliance, and you smurfs contaminated her with your goody-goody smurfy ways," he placed her unconscious body into a glass container, "I'm going to put the evil back into her soul and use her to lure the others to me, and I'll finally enact my revenge against you smurfs!"
"I won't let you!"
Azreal hissed at Grouchy, causing him to fall onto his bottom. Gargemel chuckled uncontrollably, until he sucked in a breath, "Oh, Azreal, I almost forgot your treat. You can eat him now,"
Just as the feline was about to swallow a ready to fight Grouchy, Gargemel's gears inside his head were put into motion, and a plan of brilliance popped.
"Wait!" Azreal looked to his master, "The point in time has come were I figured I do need you. Why have one evil smurf, when I can have two? Come here!" He snarled as he reached down to grab Grouchy, but the small smurf made a run for it.
Gargemel lost balance and fell over and he screamed, "Get him, Azreal! Don't let him get away!"
Grouchy ran straight for the door, bracing himself to squeeze underneath it to escape, his heart pounding in his chest with adrenaline. He grabbed onto his hat, hoping he would make it before the mangy cat got to him first.
