Trying something new.
She had shifted inside her sweater at the gentle tapping on the door. She let out an annoyed grunt, signaling the guest to let her alone at that moment.
"Mabel, I only want to help you." He had quietly spoke through the door.
"Go away, Dipper." She snarled in an angry manner.
Without notice, the door had clicked open to reveal a young boy.
"I'm sorry Mabel." He frowned at the sight of his sister, sniffling into the neck of her sweater.
She didn't speak a word back to him, but the groan she let out had encouraged him to go on with his apology.
"I apologize. I would never leave you. I promise, I would never want to, even if you did move back home." He had sat down next to her, letting his own tears gently slide down his flesh, falling into the cold wooden floor below.
She had lifted her head out of the sweater to look him in the eye, and then wrapped her arms around his shoulders, falling into a hug, in which he solemnly returned.
"Dipper?" She asked him in between her sniffles.
"Yeah?" He tenderly replied.
"Promise me one more thing." She had slowly let go of him.
Her smile had quickly disappeared, letting her drift into a much more disturbing facial expression. Her eyes narrowed with a yellow glow attached to them.
"Remember our deal." She spoke in a robotic-like voice. She had set her hands aflame in a blue aurora, drawing closer to the frightened child.
Blood was shed that night.
