A/N: Hello, ffnet readers and those who have set an alert on this story. I'm very glad you've come to read this. I and am certain a great deal of the recent interest in this story is down to Kimberly T, a much more prolific writer than I myself, interesting herself I the story enough to have written epilogue of sorts.

Because I don't feel terribly proprietary over my stories here—they are my words, yes, but hardly my characters—I encouraged her to go ahead if she felt very inspired, and write a follow-up sequel based on Pere Lachaise if she liked, one of several chapters if she wanted to, as that is more her style. Nothing makes me happier than inspiring someone else to add to the Kuroshitsuji stories written here, especially solidly talented people like Kimberly T.

So I thought I'd brave the wrath of the Powers That Be here at ffnet and write a short A/N without any story attached to it (that last is the 'illegal' part you know… did no one read those users agreements when they signed up for this site?!) letting you know she's in the middle of doing just that: a multi-chaptered sequel. She writes as I do, completely finishing a story before publishing any of it,, which is a very good, disciplined way to write I thoroughly approve of, sShe' going like a house afire too: 6 or 7 chapters so far and very entertaining it is too

I do so love stories based on post-season 2.

Because so many new readers have come to read Pere Lachaise over the last few months and I'm certain it was all her doing, I wanted to return the favour. When she finally finishes, polishes it to her liking and publishes it under her account here on ffnet, I will tell you here. I hope you will go and support her by reading it. So many of you have alerted this story which was never meant to be more than a vignette. Kimberly T has made it into so much more, and I am benefitting from it in the way of readers and reviews, so I thought I would let you know you are not waiting in vain. So, I shall speak to you again here, just as soon as there's something in the way of good news to report, so please, possess your delicious souls in patience until then, eh?-AR
