***Glad everyone loves the new chapter. Sorry for the extremely long wait. Happy Shark Week!

Chapter 9: A Caged Shark

***The Beach***

Sixgill fought to keep his new ally in one piece as well as defend himself. He gave the little mech one thing this one learned fast, but not fast enough.

The Autobots watched almost in shock as the large predacon began to rip the little vehicon limb from limb. Then suddenly went after the one fighting Drift and it didn't survive much longer then the first. It shocked them even more that the predacon didn't go after Drift or for that fact them afterwards.

As soon as the fight was over Drift quickly turned around to the others and said, "We have a problem."

***Aboard the Peaceful Tyranny***

"Thresher," Amber whispered to herself when she seen the large hammerhead being strapped down to a large table. Still in his shark mode throwing his head around and snapping his jaws hoping to catch one of the mechs off guard, but no luck.

"Well, well looks like this one finally got too cocky for his own good," Tarn chuckled, before he leaned down and spoke in Amber's ear, "I'll keep the monitor on so you can watch."

Amber turned around to see him stand up and walk towards the door, "Sit tight love, I'll be right back and we'll pick up where we left off."

"Please don't hurt him," Amber managed to shout before the door closed locking her in his room. Amber paced back and forth on the desk, looking up at the monitor she seen the robots finish strapping her brother down and started teasing him.

"Mind those teeth," Tarn's voice spoke as he walked into the room. The large hammerhead just shot the tank a nasty look. Tarn wasn't quite sure where the shark's eye sight was, so he walked up the shark's side.

"How can that thing even see?" Helex said sarcastically.

"Better then you can, walking oven," Thresher shot back, turning his head to the side so Helex get the hint he was being glared at.

"Ok kids play nice!" a small voice interrupted the two of them. The DJD looked down to see their little medic passing through.

"Hello Nickel," Tarn greeted her.

"Are you the one that took a chunk out of Tesarus' leg?" the little femme asked staring at the large shark at the table. Thresher just stared down at the tiny femme for a second before he spoke, "If it wasn't, your friend wouldn't have a leg to stand on."

"Aren't you funny fish stick?" Tesarus said leaning against the wall on his good leg.

"How about coming over here and say that to my face, trash shredder," Thresher yelled back.

Back in Tarn's room, Amber watched in both horror and a little bit of humor with her brother's boldness. She knew Thresher would never show any fear even if it meant snapping at the one that was going to kill him.

Though as much as she had gotten to know Tarn, she knew he learned how to deal with her brothers, well the smaller of the two at least.

"I don't know if I should consider you smart or stupid," Tarn spoke making Amber look back up the screen.

"Take these restraints off and we'll find out," Thresher growled. Tarn hadn't seen this predacon transform yet. However, in his line of work he's learned size didn't matter. Smaller doesn't mean less damage.

"I could….but then I'd risk my teammates and you'd risk your sister's safety," Tarn said sacasricly, "I don't know much about humans, but I do believe they need air to breath and if you put a hole in the side of ship at this altitude… well you tell me."

Thresher suddenly let out a roar like no before that sent the sparkeater running out of the room with its tail between its legs.

Amber didn't need to see the screen to hear Thresher slamming against his restraints.

This was torture for Thresher, especially when Tarn walked in front of him allowing Amber's scent to hit the predacon's senses causing him to fight the restraints even more.

"Leave him be for a bit," Tarn instructed to his team as they walked out of the room, "Let him dwell on his options for a while."

***Sorry for the real late update and the short chapter. Right now I'm trying to balance everything and it's not easy. And I don't mean to make it appear as though I'm abandoning my stories.
