A/N: Hello, readers, and welcome to another chapter of Equestrian Smashers!

Sorry for the long wait, but life has been dragging me down recently, and I haven't had much time to write.

This chapter was again betaed by hirodaichi, so thanks to him.

Please review!

The stage that was chosen was The Bridge of Eldin, from Hyrule.

Twilight was rather glad. So far, nothing threatening had come out, and she didn't have to bend over backwards to dodge things.

She threw up her shield as Mario threw a few fireballs at her. She had to say she was glad for Link's training, as the other three Smashers were some of the originals.

Flipping, she planted a foot in Mario's head, bouncing up to a new height, before coming down hard on Kirby.

Samus was doing remarkably well. She had never seen Samus' suit before, and was rather surprised. Tech like this was entirely foreign to her, and she had to work hard to keep from standing and staring.

The bounty hunter rolled up into a ball and dropped a few bombs, before coming down and kicking Mario in the face.

Twilight turned and faced off with the pink ball that was Kirby.

Kirby didn't look like much to Twilight's eyes. But she had learned not to underestimate things after the parasprite incident in Ponyville.

Kirby blinked up at her with his gigantic eyes, the let out a cry and swung a hammer at her shins. Twilight hopped back, but the hammer connected with her leg. Letting out a cry of pain, she clutched her leg and hopped around on it. Kirby let out another high-pitched noise.

Turning, she let out her blinding attack of white sparkles, and took the chance to get behind the stunned Kirby.

She grabbed him with a purple strand of magic, bringing him to her, then spun him around and let him go. He went flying of the stage a little ways, but unfortunately landed safely.

But not for long.

A giant troll-like thing riding a humongous hog came thundering across the bridge, blowing a horn. It hit Kirby and he went flying into the air.

Twilight's mouth hit the floor.

Running, she came up to Samus.

"WHAT IN CELESTIA'S NAME IS THAT THING?!"

Samus calmly looked at her. "King Bulbin. Come on, all you have to do is jump over him. Oh, don't stand on the bridge between the cracks, okay?"

Samus rolled up into a ball, and easily went over King Bulbin. Twilight did a double-jump, and landed safely.

Then she noticed the giant powder keg in front of her.

It quickly exploded, taking out half the bridge with it. Twilight quickly grabbed onto the edge, and hauled herself up, heart pounding in her ears.

"HOW DID LINK STAND THIS," she screamed, fear and adrenaline coursing through her.

Samus patted her back. "It'll come back, don't worry. Just don't fall off!" She then flipped over the chasm to brawl with Mario again.

A bouncing sound reached her ears, and she looked up just in time to jump out of Kirby-brick's way.

The pink ball dematerialized out of his brick form, then began sucking in air.

Twilight jumped out of the way, releasing her Twilight Rain upon the offending party. It connected, and Kirby let out a squeak.

A red flash blinded her momentarily as Samus threw a heavily-damaged Mario off the edge, then fire her cannon once in celebration.

"Come on, Twi! How can widdle Kirby be causing you all this trouble," she taunted, while Twilight fended off his hammer.

Twilight felt a vein throbbing in her forehead. "This is just a warm-up," she yelled back, grabbing Kirby and drop-kicking him into the chasm.

She then frowned surprisedly. "Oh crap, I'm turning into Rainbow Dash," she muttered.

Unfortunately, Kirby would not die. He did his little popping-flying thing, and landed in front of Twilight again.

She jumped out of his way, trying to make her way to Samus' side of the chasm.

Then something caught her eye.

A giant, black and green, geometric portal flashed out of nowhere, and little black squares began falling out of it. The bridge rematerialized, and the portal left.

"Whoa…" Twilight breathed.

Kirby swung his hammer at her again, and she resumed the brawl.

She let out her purple smash attack, but it partly missed the pink ball, and he tried to suck her in again. She dodged, and landed near Samus.

This was taking too long.

Twilight decided that she would bring out the moves she'd been saving for a harder opponent.

Landing on the bridge, she waited until Kirby got to close. Then she slammed her hands down on the stone surface, causing bright purple flames to flare up.

Kirby, not expecting the attack, was blown backward across the bridge.

"Twilight Fire," Twilight told the audience she knew was watching from the waiting rooms.

"Nice," Samus remarked.

Kirby hopped up again, while Twilight stood back up. She watched as the little pink thing hobbled up to her again, reading his damage.

Good. This should get him.

Once he got Twilight in range, she smashed her hands down on the ground again, releasing a Smash Attack. It did its job, and the annoying pink ball went flying up and away, screaming with its high-pitched voice.

Samus came up to her as the deep voice pronounced the winner team. "Not too shabby, Twilight," she said, patting her on the back. Then the blue light surrounded them as they were warped up and back into the waiting room.

Link, Marth, and Ike were creating quite a ruckus, screaming out congratulations for Twilight. Link was running around in circles yelling, as if his hair was on fire. Marth was sitting on the edge of the couch, whooping and waving his fist in the air, and Ike was waving his sword around as if it were a banner.

"Guys, calm down!" Twilight winced as Ike took a hunk of sheetrock out of the wall. Samus took a more forceful direction, grabbing Link's collar, halting him and suspending him in midair.

"Aw, come on! We're just excited for you," Link protested, waving his legs about like a snagged hamster.

Marth stopped his quiet cheering, leaning back a little on the couch. "Those were some great moves, Twilight. I don't think I've seen anything that impressive since Zelda joined."

"YOU'VE GOT THE POWER!" Ike screamed musically, letting go of Ragnell, sending it flying into the opposite wall. Ness let out a protesting "Hey!", while Lucas cowered away from the wobbling sword. Marth sighed, facepalming a little, while the armored bounty hunter glared at the blunette.

Twilight chuckled nervously. "Now guys…" She searched for a topic of conversation. "Where's Zelda?"

Link shrugged, still suspended by tunic from Samus' hand. "Master Hand sent one of his weirdo crony clones down, with a summons for somebody. Zelda read it, then left squealing excitedly. Honestly, she gets so worked up over little things."

Twilight rolled her eyes. "Yeah…can't imagine who that sounds like." Link looked curiously at her, while Marth stifled a giggle behind a hand.

Zelda came in at that moment, hardly containing her excitement, clutching a small scroll in her gloved hand.

"Speak of the devil," Twilight said, walking over to her. "Link says you were excited about something." Ike came back, chunks of sheetrock in his hair.

"TWILIGHT!" Zelda let out a shrill squee of delight. "I have good news! Very good news!" The audience leaned in, Marth nearly falling off the couch.

"You've been requested for a duel against Master Hand!"
