Hello you beautiful, beautiful people! I'm not sure how many of you are still into Teen Titans, or how many of my previous followers will actually see this. I realized today, after opening my old email address associated with this FanFiction account, that I still get a ton of reviews on this story! I haven't updated this bad boy in like, what, 4 years?! That's crazy! I dug around and found a forgotten chapter that I never finished/published. So I figure this will be enough to hold anyone over until I can re-read this whole story and start from where I left off! I really hope you all still enjoy this. It's going to be fun.

Two weeks later.

The perv was leering at her from across the office again, his creepy gaze following her through the aisles and rows of desks, computers and printers.

Raven, with her hair up for a change, fixed him with a look of her own – a menacing glare – while continuing to load paper into the copy machine's feeder. When the duplicates were finished, she swiftly grabbed the stack and marched back to her desk, not sparing him a glance when he came strolling over.

Ever so smoothly, he stopped at the receptionist counter, leaning forward on his elbows as he gazed at the empath with a smirk. "You look familiar. Do I know you from somewhere cutie?"

Without looking up at him, Raven sneered as she sorted through her documents. "You wish."

"No, I'm pretty sure I do." He put a creamy finger to his chin and thought for a moment.

Raven self-consciously touched her hair, feeling the slight crispness of dark hair dye that lingered in it even after washing. "Actually, I'm sure you don't. Leave."

"Alright." The guy put his hands up in surrender, backing away from the counter, a small smile still on his face. "I'll go. But I'm available, babe."

"Yeah, and I'm taken," she spat, his steps quickening at the sound of her voice as he scurried away. Raven sighed, placing her hands over her eyes as if she could block out all the light from these fluorescent office bulbs. She felt a headache begin to throb in her skull as the brightness peeked in through her fingers. A pair of hands clasped on to her shoulders, making her jump and spin around in her chair.

Beast Boy chuckled at her reaction, smiling crookedly. "Just me. Are you feeling okay?"

Raven looked around at her new scenery forlornly. Was she okay? Her boyfriend stood next to her, not looking like himself at all, the illusion bands glittering on his fingers. She already had a stalker here, a crazy, brown-haired doofus named Al. She had to color her hair so no one noticed her natural violet, and was dressed in an A-line skirt and ruffled blouse, something the clerk at Target had picked out for her. Raven felt out of place, working in an office like this. Yes, she was grateful that Beast Boy had found them these jobs, but she just felt like she needed to do something more, make an actual difference. She already missed being a Titan.

"I just feel like we don't really belong here," she said quietly as he rubbed her shoulder blade.

The changeling slipped to her side, his eyes following the other people in the office, watching them work. "I kinda like it. I always imagined working in a place like this, being normal. Spending eight hours a day in an office, coming home to a..." He looked down at her and smiled genuinely, almost sheepishly. "...wife and a baby."

Raven flushed, smirking. "Beast Boy–"

He cut her off with a sshh. "Remember? It's Will here."

She had forgotten, casting a nervous glance at everyone to make sure they weren't staring at them, figuring out that they weren't just average people. "Sorry." Wife and a baby? Did that mean that he planned on them getting married in the near future? Did that mean he was fully planning on keeping their baby? Raven wasn't even sure...she wanted to, to be honest. As she stared at her coworkers, buzzing around like busy bees, shuffling paperwork, she knew that this wasn't what she wanted. She wanted to be a part of something like the Titans again.

While pregnant, she absolutely couldn't. But after...? How would she try to get back with her old teammates if she kept her baby? But after what they did, what they said, what they thought...did she even want to try and go back? Not like they wanted her...Robin had said they'd made up their mind, about her never being able to join again.

Her mind reeled as Beast Boy stared at her in concern. She was at a loss for words, so she just turned back around to continue her filing. Raven felt Beast Boy gazing at the back of her head intensely, and felt some of his emotions through his aura; concern, worry, anxiety.

"Well, um...," he said finally, "...I'm gonna get back to work. Let's talk at home, okay? Over dinner?"

She nodded, listening to his retreating footsteps. Again, she sighed.

Raven sat on the bed she and her boyfriend shared, staring down at the clean sheets, feeling...weird. No, she didn't feel sick, but just...weird. Her whole groove had been thrown off, and she thought having Garfield with her would make any situation a good one. Apparently she was wrong, though it sounds horrible to say. Yes, he's wonderful, and yes, he's sweet, and yes, he ditched being a Teen Titan to start a life with her but... Raven wasn't even sure she wanted it. She thought about how ungrateful she was as she strode over to the dresser, stripping off her work clothes and slipping on a t-shirt and shorts.

She didn't know why she felt this way, I mean, being together, living in their own place, getting closer... Raven guessed that it just didn't feel right because, well, she was forced into it. She would have eventually wanted to settle down, she was sure of that, but at eighteen? Try twenty-five, at least. Her future's plans had somehow jumped through time and became her plans of the present, and she wasn't too happy about that.

Garfield slowly stepped into the doorway, leaning against the frame. Raven had decided to now call him by his birth name since his Titan one was no longer needed. His arms were crossed, but he didn't look angry. He gave Raven a small smile, watching her lovingly as she took out her upwards hair style and brushed it out. "Hey."

She glanced his way and smirked. "Hi." Raven felt him staring at her for a few long moments as she brushed her hair, so when she turned to ask him why, she was surprised to see that he was staring at her stomach. The empath hadn't looked at her midsection in a while, in fear that when she did, it would be hugely blown-up. But when she followed her boyfriend's wondrous gaze, the fear of looking big melted away. Underneath her night shirt, she had a baby bump. A small one, but it still made her eyes tear up. It seemed to have the same or similar effect on Garfield, because he walked over quickly and set a rough palm on her.

He dragged his wide, green eyes from his unborn child's home and stared into Raven's, the look passing through them indescribable yet saying so much.
