"And done!" Adrien spun around in his desk chair in celebration. He had finally finished the Valentine heart he'd made for Ladybug. How had drawing simple ladybugs and hearts taken so long? Okay, so he might have dozed off once or twice, daydreaming about giving her the card, but hey, being creative was tiring.

"Well, finally," Plagg grumbled from the corner. "I've been waiting all day for you to finish that card so we can go to Leo's." Adrien could hear Plagg, but he couldn't see him. How had it gotten so dark? Thunder rumbled and Adrien groaned as he looked out the window. The sky was looking angry, but he knew if he didn't find Ladybug now, she wouldn't get the card till after Valentine's Day, and that would be to late.

Cat leaped up to the windowsill, just as a growl of thunder was heard overhead. Cat felt growing himself, he hated getting wet, but what sophisticated cat did? Okay, he was a goofball most of the time, but showing up sopping wet to give a card to your sweetheart? Yeah, that wouldn't set well. A few raindrops plunked down on his head, and Cat gave a small wail. He might be a black cat, but could the bad luck just wait awhile longer?

Cat looked down at his card. Whining and hissing about it wasn't going to get him anywhere. And he should probably text Ladybug.

Cat: Hey, Bugaboo! I have a little something for you. Can you meet up at the park in five?

Ladybug: Okay! I'll swing by shortly! Bug out!

Just then, the rain begin to fall in earnest. Arrgh, why could his lady's luck rub off on him today? And this was cold rain, not the kind of rain you could splash in puddles.

Cat tucked the red heart into his belt, and hunched over as the rain and wind picked up. Guess he'd be soggy and wet after all. It was hard not to duck into a store to warm up, especially when the bright warm lights of Starbucks and warm tempting smell of cookies flooded your nostrils.

Finally, Cat made to the park, shivering. Just then, the rain ceased and he heard a little happy giggle. "Did you get caught in the rain, Kitty?" He looked up to see the beautiful bluebell eyes of Ladybug, her eyes filled with mirth and love. She held her red and black spotted umbrella above their heads.

"I made a card for you," Cat said, reaching into his belt. "It took me longer then I expected, but I wanted to give to you, today. Happy Valentine's Day, my love."

As Ladybug silently read the card, Cat listened to the raindrops pinging happily off the umbrella. "Oh, Kitty. I love it. Thank you!" she kissed Cat's wet cheek, and he immediately felt warm all over. "It maybe a soggy Valentine's Day, but you shower me with your love everyday." "I would do anything for you, My Lady." Ladybug felt her throat grow tight, but tried to lighten the mood. "Well, then, I suppose you could buy me a cup of hot chocolate?" "What about your coffee?" He grinned, and Ladybug felt her breath catch, his green eyes were glowing, taking her breath away in their beauty. "Good job. I was testing you."

Arm and arm, and under the umbrella, Ladybug and Cat headed back out into the rain, and Ladybug's heart was warm thinking how they showered each other with love.
