John's eyes were fixed on the gray carbuncle structure. Something about that conversation he had had felt extremely odd. He couldn't quite put a figure on it but he sensed that something was wrong. That was the only reason he did what the anonymous voice on the other side of the phone said.

It wasn't right. How could Mycroft possibly get Sherlock's phone? There was no phone on the body, it just didn't make any sense.

He stopped at the spot. And turned around to see Sarah just where he left her, standing in the exact same position. He looked at her, she made no sign of recognition. A tingling feeling went through his spine and he knew what it meant. Since he could remember himself, this feeling was accompanied with danger.

He wished Sarah would have given him even just a little reassuring smirk but she did nothing of that sort. Her face wore a vacant expression, her eyes were fixed on John and her look was so intense it seemed as if she looked right through him. Her skin looked pale and she looked nothing like the woman he knew. But he couldn't make himself go back.

Why did Sherlock have to be so stupid?

It frustrated him. He thought that this idiotic person sitting in front of him was his last chance of finding an appropriate rival. How foolish was he to think that?!

James Moriarty was looking at the little man, and Sherlock was trying so hard to conceal his fear and feelings, but there's just one thing he didn't understand, nothing is hidden form Moriarty's eyes.

"Come on Sherlock! If you don't push the button-" "You will, I know" Sherlock completed his sentence. At least he was paying attention, that was something too. The computer work didn't really fit Sherlock anymore, well, it wasn't amusing to watch anymore. So it was time to let Sherlock Holmes see some real sunlight again. This was the part he waited for and that was the reason he didn't kill Sherlock in the first place. Watching Sherlock actually killing people, with a gun, can be far more amusing then anything he'd done in a really long time.

Sarah knew she didn't have more than a few seconds. She was not going to run for it or do anything. She knew Jim Moriarty was watching and she wanted him to look her right in the eyes when he made Sherlock push that button. She did tell John who that woman was but didn't tell him why she came. Allen's baby simply had a cold, it was nothing serious and both her and Sarah knew that. The reason Allen came was to tell her the truth. She told her who her brother really was. Apparently, after running away, her brother, who now addressed himself as Jim, changed his identity and started building his network. A few years later, she went looking for him and since then she'd been working there until a few weeks before their meeting. She saw Sherlock being taken to the room with the computer and, facing one of the victims of her brother's actions directly, she realized she couldn't take part of that anymore. So she called Sarah.

She told her she needed to disappear but did not give any details. So Sarah, being a doctor, told her about a trick that you can use to fake a stroke. Allen did exactly what she was told. She stole some of that substance and drunk it. She had one friend there, Danny, and he was responsible of the employees' personal files. So when she supposedly died, he made sure to fill all the details in. Also, because he was the only person she could trust she wrote his name as the baby's guardian, and so he helped her to get him out of there too. But no one can really escape from Moriarty. It was a matter of days until he realized what was going on. During the time of the fake funeral Allen took the baby and went to the Hospital where Sarah worked.

Allen, knowing Moriarty must be after her, asked Sarah to take care of her son but Sarah knew he wasn't going to be safe with her and, sadly, had to decline. Allen was just about to go when she saw John leaves his office and then she remembered. "He lives" she whispered to Sarah. "His detective friend. He is alive." Then she disappeared again and would probably be found dead soon enough since Moriarty was quicker then she thought. Sarah wouldn't be surprised if he was following her since the funeral ended. And she wasn't surprised that he was going to kill her first too. Back in the days his sister was the only thing he cared about and now Sarah helped her run away. For him, it was betrayal and since she knew him, he couldn't handle being betrayed.

When John got that call Sarah got a glimpse of his screen, and as soon as she saw Sherlock's name she realized exactly what was going to happen. At first she was quite confused but now everything made perfect sense and she knew what she had to do. Just before the building blew up she sent a text to John, she typed it behind her back so Moriarty won't be able to see, and it said: "Forget everything you think you know, He's alive."
