I know it's been a long time and I am deeply sorry. It has been a crazy year for me, end of school... Well school is almost over for me and then Ill get back to writing. I've got about 4 tests (1 test, 3 finals) and I'm done. Wish me luck! And there you go, a sneak peak to what's coming!
Thank you all for the favorites, reviews and follows keep them coming :)
The plane was nearly empty, only eleven people on board. Two pilots, two stewardesses, five scientists, chatting excitedly about the important research they were about to take a part in, and a woman. She was sitting alone, quietly, staring blankly at the window, lost in thoughts. She was wearing a long, old looking, dark blue dress and around her shoulders a beige coloured scarf. On first glance you might not even notice her. But if you really looked you'd notice the high, dignified cheekbones. A constant reminder of the noble, powerful woman she once was.
"Ladies and gentleman we are now getting ready for landing. Please be seated and put your seatbelts on. Thank you" The pilot's voice on the speakers passed unnoticed by the lady who remained completely motionless. "Miss if you could please put your seatbelt on." It was the flight attendant's voice that restored her to reality. "Yes, yes of course" she said, and did as she was told before returning to her previous daydream-like state. It was risky of her to go there, risky and stupid, she knew that. It might ruin everything she had worked for. But she owed the man, he saved her life and now she must return the favor.
As soon as the plane landed the woman took out a huge black coat from the little compartment above her head, threw it gently around her shoulders and headed for the door. A few seconds later she was already going down the mobile staircase, the freezing wind scratching her face like a thousand knives. It was a dark winter night in Norway; almost no star was visible in the cloudy sky. Irene Adler walked out of the little, almost abandoned airport in the direction of the nearby town. What would she do? She did not know. However, she had better things to worry about. First, she had to find a warm place to spend the night at, some food and a bit of water or else she wouldn't even make it 'till dawn.
