"Thanks for helping me with this, MultiMouse," Leo said, setting the white plastic tree in front of her. "No problem. And its a great idea, you pick a heart and there's a sweet little message inside." "I know I can expect some wonderful drawings from you." Leo winked and went to serve a guest at the counter.
MultiMouse flopped down on her tummy, drawing away. She loved being creative and when Leo had asked for help, why, she couldn't say no to the nicest cheese shop owner in Paris. Though, a part of her wished she had a Valentine's Day date, or even a friend. Little did she know her partner Cat Noir was thinking along the same lines.
"What would be the point, Plagg?" Adrien asked his Kwami as he sat on his stomach with his his arms crossed. "I'd just be a lonely kitty with no girl to have a giggle with." "Well, with that attitude you wont. Let's just get out and about, get some fresh air. Its much better then sitting here all alone, isn't it?" "What do you know about being alone?" Adrien grumbled from his pillow. "You have stacks of cheese at your mercy." "Cheese is nice, Adrien," Plagg told him. "But its no substitute for a friend." Adrien sat up slowly. Plagg was right, it did him no good just to sit here and mope. "Thanks, buddy. Now, Claws Out!"
Cat smiled and waved for the cameras as he walked down the sidewalk to Leo's. Even though it was afternoon, the sun was already dipping towards the horizon. Cat shivered as a puff of snow that looked like sugar spiraled in a dance in front of him. Right now, all he could think of was a warm hot chocolate.
Cat blew through the doors, and he blew on his hands to warm them. Just as he was headed over to the counter he heard a giggle. A very cute giggle. Cat turned and saw MultiMouse sprawled out on her tummy coloring away at a heart. Cat remembered that was Marinette under the mask. His heart leaped with joy! His lady might not be here, but her luck was certainly present. Cat strolled over to say hello.
MultiMouse didn't see Cat as she stood up, pursing her pink glossed lips as she studied one of her hearts. Oh, she was cute and tiny!
MultiMouse froze as she felt a set of two giant green eyes staring at her. Wait...green eyes? "Cat Noir?" she squeaked. Cat smiled. "What's a cute mouse doing all by herself on Valentine's Day?" MultiMouse sighed. "I didn't have anyone to spend it with, so wanted to help Leo."
That was Marinette, always helping others. "You?" "Alone and single." "Well, I don't know about the second part, but I could spend some time with you." Cat grinned. "I would like that very much, Little Mouse."
Returning to normal size, MultiMouse offered Cat her arm. It was time to have some fun this Valentine's Day, and what better person to spend it with then your best friend?
