There were a lot of things Ladybug didn't like. Akumas, liars, Hawkmoth. But what she despised the most today was the snowy slush falling from the sky. She had made a fresh pot of tea before heading out on patrol, and with the wind whipping the way it was, she was already cold.

And where was Cat? It was getting cold, and she tried to hang on to the last ounces of heat her mug held. Soon, though her legs were shaking and if Cat didn't show up fast, she would fast resemble a human ice cube.

Where was that furball? It wasn't like he'd be napping in the sun and he wasn't lying in front of the oven at her parents. Cat and Ladybug knew who each other were under the masks since they had started dating, but Ladybug had yet to tell her parents. It was wiser this way still.

Ladybug saw Cat from a distance, slipping and sliding along. "That's not a pretty face," he grinned at her and she buried her head against his chest. Even her hoodie was dripping wet. Cat cradled her head with his hand. "Poor Bugaboo," he said. "Kitty," her voice shaking in the cold. "Did you run out of tea?" he asked, his green eyes soft but still held mirth. She nodded, still keeping her head down.

Before Ladybug could protest, Cat lifted her into his arms. "Cat, put me down! Do you want all of Paris to see?" "Love, Paris is snug and cozy at home today, or at least they should be in weather like this. Don't worry, I'll have you home in no time."

Ladybug sighed, leaning her head against his chest. It was cozy here in his arms, and there was less chance of slipping. "Did you go to Leo's, or did you make that home?" Cat asked, gesturing to her thermos. "At home. And it was a fresh pot too." "I'm sorry your tea got cold, but now we can have a pot together," Cat grinned. Ladybug stared at her partner, she knew him well. "And?" "And your mother's fresh baked cookies, of course." "There it is."

The lights made a lighted path as they reached the bakery, but as Ladybug and Cat looked through the window they could see the shop was deserted. Cat set Ladybug down, then nudged her as they looked through the window.

Tom and Sabine, Ladybug's mother and father were dancing to music, and Tom held his wife in his arms. Ladybug felt her throat tighten, slipping her arm through Cat's. She knew her father especially was a romantic, but didn't show much physical affection at least when she was around.

Her mother and father worked so well together, getting a last minute cake order beautifully decorated. Its like Cat and I, she thought to herself. Even their signature pound it was first used by her parents.

"We should get inside," Cat murmured in her ear. Ladybug looked at him. "Hold my hand?" she asked, holding it out. Her mother and father knew she was dating Cat now, but she still felt a bit shy around them. Cat slipped his hand into hers, giving it a squeeze.

"Ladybug! Cat Noir! Your both freezing cold!" Sabine hurried over to them. "And soaking wet," Tom added. "I'll get a pot of tea on, while you get the towels, Tom."

Cat led her upstairs were after they dried off, they sat around the table, drinking tea and munching on delicious cookies. "To bad Marinette isn't here, she so wants to meet you." Ladybug gave a soft sigh she stared down into teacup. She hated lying, but even more when it was her parents. They looked at windows as the storm grew fiercer. "You must stay with us for the night," Sabine said, and Cat nodded.

As Sabine made supper, Cat and Tom exchanged bakery stories as Cat was an employee. Ladybug leaned back, relaxing as she sipped her warm tea. Her home was so cozy with her father's hale voice and Cat's softer, gentler one. And she could hear Mama clattering away in the kitchen, a very cozy sound.

An hour ago, she had been freezing cold, wet hair and icicles starting to form on the end of her pigtails. Now, she was cozy warm and safe. But what made feel the most love was when she saw the love her parents had for each other, and for her without their daughter was Ladybug.
