Is there anything more ridiculous than being nervous about going out for the night with the man you married? Lucy was trying to figure out what to wear for the date she'd had with Dean later that night. They had been going out at least three times a week for the last month and Lucy was coming to the realization that even though the arrangement she had with Dean ending in 3 months, she didn't want to go. She found that she enjoyed spending time with him on nights like this, she enjoyed seeing him interact with the fans when he was in the ring and out, she liked hanging out with the people backstage, but she loved the nights they didn't go out. She loved hanging out in a hotel room, sitting on a bed, laughing and watching TV, or just talking. She was however growing increasingly frustrated with the way Dean was acting as it pertained to their physical relationship. Sure, they'd kiss at the end of the night, hell they'd had some pretty hot make out sessions but she was sick of feeling like a frustrated teenager at the end of the night when Dean left her alone in bed to go to his! Lucy, lost her thoughts hadn't noticed Dean walk into the room, but jumped when he wrapped his arms around her. "Shit! You scared me!" Dean chuckled and kissed her cheek, "Sorry, I thought you heard me come in. I was wondering what you had in mind for tonight, if you wanted to stay in or if you wanted to go out to a restaurant after the show?" Shaking her head Lucy turned around and gestured towards her wardrobe, "Well I'm kind of out of options for a fancy reservations required type restaurant. So I'd prefer somewhere we didn't have to dress up, plus then you won't have to rush around after the show and we can both be comfortable."

Dean nodded his head and grinned, not so secretly glad he didn't have to put on a suit after the show, not that he minded if that's what it took to make her happy but he would much rather enjoy a private evening, just the two of them. He loved watching her as she smiled and laughed at the stupid things they did and talked about. He loved kissing her, touching her, he just never knew how far was too far and he didn't want to cross a boundary with her and thus set back their relationship. Dean was frustrated but he liked where they were heading and he knew they'd get to the point of a physical relationship soon but he was going to be taking cold showers in the mean time. He knew he only had three months left with her, if she decided she still wanted the divorce that is, but he really hoped they could get on the same page soon because he knew she was it for him. He knew it the moment he met her. He was never the guy who believed in love at first sight but when Lucy made eye contact with him in that club in Las Vegas he was intrigued in a way he had never been before. Her laugh, even then, never failed to make him smile, hell if he was honest about it, he wanted her from the moment he found her, he stayed married to her because there was a connection he wanted to explore further. Hell, he moved to Vegas in an effort to try to find her or at the very least be there in the event that she came back to where it all began. But ever since she'd been on the road with him, he'd slowly found himself truly falling in love with her. She frustrated him, challenged him, laughed at him, she took an interest in getting to know the man behind the character, when he was injured she took care of him. He was encouraged that they were sharing a room and had been since she got out of the hospital but there were just two problems, he didn't know how to tell her that her father was giving him money, and he wasn't sure how she felt. He wasn't sure if she'd want to stay married. He felt like things were going well enough, but he wanted to be sure before he got his hopes too high. Shoving all of this aside, he simply asked, "So, are you almost ready to head to the arena? Roman wants to go over some stuff before the match tonight."

Two hours later Lucy was sitting with Nikki and Brie bemoaning the fact that Dean still hadn't made a move yet. "I mean, at this point I think I could walk into the room wearing absolutely nothing and he wouldn't even notice!" The twins looked at each other before turning back to Lucy. "Lucy, you do realize that this is the 21st century right? You don't have to wait for him to make the first move." Lucy stared at Brie, she'd never really considered that. "But what if he rejects me? What do I do then? It would be so humiliating." Nikki shook her head, "Well, then you'd pick yourself up, you'd pack your stuff up, and you'd have your answer about what he wants. If you don't try then you'll never know. I say put on something sexy and go seduce your husband!" Nikki slapped her hand on the table after her last declaration drawing attention from some of the people in catering; Lucy and Brie shushed her in an attempt to keep anyone else from overhearing. Lucy knew the girls meant well but also knew that she wasn't confident like them. She'd wasn't comfortable with Dean to walk up to him, pull him close, and tell him to drop his pants because she was in the mood. She needed to be more subtle, after all what if he was happy with the way things were right now. No, she'd take a more subtle approach. That way she didn't embarrass herself if he wasn't interested and she could back out if she chickened out.

Dean was in hell. For the last week and a half, every time he was around Lucy she'd had been touching him, holding his hand, kissing him, innocently brushing up against his groin. Now this normally wasn't a problem, normally he'd have been trying to get her to into bed at every opportunity. But until he knew where he stood with Lucy, he would do everything he could to make her happy, make her want to stay, and in order to do that he needed to keep their current boundaries, their current relationship, in place. He wanted her to make the first move, he didn't want her to feel pressured into anything. He was determined that no matter how much he wanted her, she was going to make the first move, and no matter how many cold showers he had to take.

Tonight, like most nights, they were curled up in bed watching the newest Marvel comic movie. Adjusting the way he was sitting, Dean glanced down at his wife. She was curled up in his side, with her head on his chest, his mind anywhere but the movie. Lucy alternated between either absentmindedly rubbing her fingers in circles on his chest or readjusting her body so more of her lay on top of him. "Hey Lucy?" Dean furrowed his brow when she looked up at him, "Are you okay? You seem like your having a hard time getting comfortable tonight." Without ever taking her eyes off the TV screen she replied, "Oh, no I'm fine just working out a theory in my mind." Thinking Lucy was referencing a legal matter she was working on, Dean gritted his teeth determined to enjoy the rest of the night with his wife in his arms and not let her know that her sliding herself up and down his was driving him to the point of agony. "Okay, well if you want to talk about it you know I'll listen, I don't know how much I can offer in the way of opinion but I'll try." Lucy finally looked up at him and nodded her head, "I know, I'll let you know when I'm ready to talk about it." Pausing briefly she continued, "Umm are you okay, you look a little tense?" Dean shook his head, "I'm just having a hard time concentrating on this movie. I guess I'm more tired than I thought." Lucy nodded, "Yeah you had a rough night tonight, would it help you relax if I gave you a massage or something?" Dean nodded his head quickly, and laid face down on the bed as Lucy directed.

Lucy sat down on Dean's lower legs as she began to run her hands across the wide expanse of his back, gently feeling for knots, and pressing down and rotating when she found one. As a content silence fell over the room, Lucy's mind went over the events of the last week. All the times she'd been being extra affectionate, running her hands up and down his body, touching his groin, nibbling on his neck, they'd even started sharing a bed. But still he made no efforts to escalate their relationship past it's current point. There was only one thing she hadn't tried, and as Dean let out a groan of pleasure Lucy began to feel more confident, "If I'm doing something you don't like then tell me and I'll stop." Dean let out another groan and Lucy kept moving her hands over the wide expanse of her husband's back, "Hey can I ask you a question?" When Dean turned his head and nodded, Lucy bit her lower lip and went for it, "Do you want to have sex?"

Of all the things should could have said that was the last thing Dean was expecting. In fact, the only thing he could get out was a choked, "With you?" Immediately upon seeing her face, Dean knew he said the wrong thing. In fact, before he could even stand up Lucy had already walked across the hotel room and closed the door. "Come on Lucy, let me in. You just caught me off guard, that's all. I wasn't expecting you to ask that. I'm sorry, can you come out or let me in? Let's talk." Dean checked the door and was surprised that it was unlocked. Opening the door he saw her sitting on the sink, looking down dejected, embarrassed. "Hey, can we talk? Honey, of course I want you..." He trailed off as she held up her hand, "No. Really it's fine. I'm glad you said that. You don't want the same thing I want and that's okay. I'm glad I know. Nikki asked me to come by her room tonight after we watched the movie she had something she wanted to talk to me and Brie about. I'll be back later. I just need to go."

Dean watched Lucy walk across the bathroom to the door, "You know I hate it when you do that right? I hate it when you hide behind that mask you put on. Don't walk away from this. I know your pissed, that's okay, I said something stupid and I'm sorry but can we talk for just a minute? Lucy, you've got to know that you caught me off guard, that's all that happened. Baby, I've wanted you more than any other woman I've ever known." Pissed off that she was getting some clothes and a bag he pulled her against him and thrust his pelvis into hers. "Does that feel like I don't want you? Motherfucker! Say something!" Dean stared down at the top of her head, in fact, that she looked into his eyes at all surprised him; he was even more surprised by her words, "Then why the hell didn't you make a move sooner if you wanted me so badly?"

Ignoring the question Dean crashed his lips to hers. He kissed her like he was a dying man and would never get to kiss her again. Nipping at her lips and ripping her shirt Dean quickly grew frustrated and let out a deep growl when he realized he'd need to let go of her before he could get the shirt off completely. Leaving her to remove her shirt, he quickly disrobed and pulled her body against him, groaning when he felt her silky body meeting his hot skin. Pulling her towards the bed Dean was absolutely frantic, desperate to try to take the edge off his hunger for her that was consuming him.

Lucy lay writhing on the bed as Dean ran his hands up and down her body leaving no part of her, even her most intimate parts untouched. She was frantic to feel him inside her; in an effort to help alleviate the pressure she felt building inside her, she guided her Dean's hands to her slick folds. Lucy nearly came off the bed when Dean began to flick her clit, "Oh God! Dean, don't stop!". Biting back moans, she felt the shudders run through her body as Dean finally inserted two fingers deep inside her and she heard his exclaim "Oh God baby you're so fucking tight." Pulling his head down to hers, she kissed him deeply as Dean began to stroke his fingers in and out of her, helping to ready her for him.

Dean watched as Lucy's back arched off the bed, God she was beautiful. Taking a second, he removed his fingers from deep inside her, and slid on a condom, smiling when he heard her whimper after he removed his fingers. Murmuring words of reassurance, Dean lowered his body down onto hers. Gritting his teeth, Dean was sure he was going to explode as he slowly thrust himself into her waiting body. He was pleasantly surprised at how ready she was for him. "Baby you feel so fucking wonderful..." The words choked out as Dean felt Lucy began to move her hips up to meet his. He quickly felt himself losing control as Lucy's muscles began to tighten around him. Dean watched as Lucy fell back on the bed gasping as he went over the edge just after she did.

Minutes, maybe hours later Dean's heart began to slow and he looked down at Lucy with a cheshire smile on his face, "Again I ask why the hell did we wait so long to do that?" Basking in her current state of satisfaction, Lucy barely opened her eyes when she asked Dean that question. She felt him chuckle and wrap his arms around her pulling her even closer. "Hell if I know but I can tell you I don't want to wait another 4 months before doing this again." Lucy grinned from her spot on her husband's chest, "You know, if you'd have been cooperative we'd have been her much sooner." At his confused look she continued, "I've been dropping hints for days that I want you. It wasn't until I said that tonight that you picked up on it. I had a whole seduction scene planned for Halloween if we hadn't gotten here by then" Dean's eyes widened, "Hell, I've been so concerned with driving you away that I didn't want to make the wrong move. Lucy, you know I don't pick up on subtle hints, next time you want to have sex with me, grab me, tell me, that way there's no way I can misunderstand what you're saying. Grinning at him Lucy framed his face in her hands, "Okay, well then how's this? Wanna do it again, in an effort to make up for lost time." Dean rolled her onto her back, "Absolutely.
