Marinette has changed her own future by going back into the past. In this one, Emilie was able to meet with the Guardians rather than finding the temple destroyed. I will be outlining the various changes after the story.

She could feel the vibration through her mattress while her phone buzzed with her alarm, but the teenage girl stayed curled under her duvet. "Marinette, your alarm has been going off for fifteen minutes! You're going to be late for your first day back at school!" Pushing her duvet up, she finally pressed on the screen to silence the alarm.

"Got it, mom." Sliding herself out of bed, she went down the steps from her mezzanine down to the bedroom below, and then down to the living room and kitchen. "Coming." She let out a yawn as she made the turn toward the kitchen table. Giving her mother a hug and a kiss on the cheek, she went to sit down while the smaller female went to finish what she was doing at the kitchen counter behind her. "I bet you anything Chloé will be in my class again."

"Four years in a row?" Sabine Dupain-Cheng asked. "Is that possible?"

Marinette was just putting her cereal into her bowl when she nodded "Definitely. Lucky me."

"Don't say that. It's the start of a new year, I'm sure everything will be just fine." Turning to give her mother a smile, she nodded, hoping that everything would turn out alright at school. Setting the cereal box down, she never noticed the tangerine that was precariously perched near the side of the fruit bowl until it rolled down half a baguette to the knife casually placed against the butter, and over that to knock into the small bowl of sugar cubes, before impacting the milk, causing it to dump out the last of its contents all over the floor.

Marinette let out a squeak, then a groan as she went to fix the mess, only for her mother to grab the towel off of the sink, and place it on the spilled milk. Rubbing at her daughter's face, the older Chinese woman smiled at her daughter. After breakfast, she went back up, changed into her clothes, and headed down to find her father humming the French National Anthem, while holding a long box of macarons. "Dad! These are so awesome!"

"Glad you like them." he commented, closing the box in his massive hands.

Unable to keep her feet from dancing showed just how excited Marinette was to get the cookies from her father. "My class will love them! You're the best!"

"We're the best, thanks to your amazing designs." Tom had to think fast in order to catch the cookies with his feet when Marinette lunged at him, giving him a hug and a kiss. In a move out of an action series, he tossed the box up and caught it in his hands, handing it over as Sabine did the same with his daughter's backpack.

"Thanks. See you tonight." With that, Marinette ran out of the store, and over to the crosswalk just as it changed to red. After a couple of cars went through the intersection, she was off and jogging to Collège Françoise Dupont. She had just made it to the front of the school when a silver car pulled up in front.

"I still don't see why we can't just continue to home-school Adrien," Gabriel commented as Emilie fussed with her son's clothes, "he's a public figure-"

Looking at her husband, the model and actress sighed "Adrien's already made the request, and he can't stay cooped up in that huge house without any friends. Besides, I'm going to be gone for six months at a time recording in Hollywood."

Adrien looked up at his father. "We all agreed last night that I could meet more kids my own age. Besides, we all know how you get when there's a deadline, dad."

Gabriel sighed "Yes, I know I get tunnel vision where work is concerned, but Nathalie can-"

"Nathalie already has enough on her plate just dealing with your demanding schedule." Emilie looked at her son. "Ready to meet your new school?"

Adrien looked up with his emerald gaze, nodding "I'm ready, mom." Gabriel got out first, holding the door open for his wife, only for his son to follow her out. "Whoa."

"You make sure to tell me all about your classes, new friends, and any clubs or hobbies you want to join when you get home tonight." Kissing the top of his head, she felt her son's arms wrap around her before Gabriel did the same with the pair.

"Remember not to get into too much mischief, I don't want to have to pull you out of school because you're in with bad influences." Gabriel called out as Adrien ran up the steps to the school right behind a girl with black hair pulled into pigtails.

"Gabriel!"

"I'm kidding, Emilie." kissing her cheek, he smiled.

With that, the pair watched their only son go into the school. There was no apocalyptic meeting with Marinette, nor did Adrien mention his link to Chloé until they were in his first class together. Instead, the first people he met found the teen boy to be kind and likable, causing him to make friends with the entire class almost immediately – overlooking his friendship with Chloé. Without the need for superheroes, Marinette's confidence would grow through the confidence and trust she gained from Alya, Nino, Adrien, and all the rest of her classmates.

Wang Fu was returned to the temple only a few hours later. He initially returned to his village, telling his parents only that there was an "accident" and that one of the Masters had charged him with protecting the Miracle Box, only for the Celestial Guardian to arrive at his front door before he could leave. Escorting the young boy back, he was reprimanded by the Council of Guardians, and returned to his village to live out the rest of his life in Tibet, never once meeting Marianne or living long past a century.

During the time of World War II, the Guardians created several champions that kept the Germans and their allies from ever setting foot near the temple.

Over the centuries they had initially been gone, the temple remained untouched by technology. Even when Gabriel and Emilie Agreste arrived, they had spoken to the various villages around the temple, and accepted the requirements of the Guardians that they should come in humble clothing, and leave their worldly possessions behind. The pair arrived to a warm welcome, food, drink, and one of the Masters listening to the young bride's request. Understanding that her desire to bear a child was solely for the joy of having her own offspring, the Guardians accepted her request.
They offered her a recipe which turned out to be a potion in the form of a tea to drink which would heal her body enough to bear a child. They also recommended a treatment of drinking a lighter version of the potion to keep the child healthy once a month during gestation. That way she could determine how many children she wanted, and her body wouldn't reject the child outright.

She, naturally, shared this discovery with her sister, and best friend Tomoe; the latter of which did not lose her vision due to the abnormal birth.

None of the Kwami would show up in Paris, leading to a different outcome for all.

Adrien would be more like a blend of Felix and Adrien, open and friendly to everyone until they treat his kindness as weakness, after that he will be curt to those who disappoint him. He would also have a cousin named Felicia (instead of Felix) with her personality being a blend of Zoe and Kagami in that she would act cold and slightly superior, but if you were persistent, you would find a young woman with a warm and loving nature that enjoys tight, close-knit friendships. She, and her mother Amelie, would be around at least once a month so that when Adrien wanted to go to the music festival, she would go with him, and be introduced to Kitty Section.

Tomoe's family would be completely different since she bore fraternal twins; Kagami and Fukusei. Kagami was a lot more tender, and less of an "ice queen" when it came to showing her tender heart to her friends. Her brother Fukusei was more the "bad boy" wearing leather jackets, playing his guitar at extreme levels, practicing Kendo (for the exercise), flirting with girls (much to Tomoe's chagrin) and generally enjoying his life. There's the typical sibling rivalry between the two with Fukusei jealous of his sister's "killer instinct" at fencing, while Kagami resented (and is a little jealous of) his ability to flirt with the opposite sex. Together, however, they are a force to be reckoned with. Anyone speaking ill of Kagami will find themselves quickly on the ground by Fukusei, while the same is true with his sister.
