A/N: So, today is a special day for me. Today is the one-year anniversary of the day I met KagamiPINKAgreste, who has not only captured my heart, but encouraged me to get more into the Miraculous fandom, so I wrote this story to celebrate. Enjoy!

It was a cool spring day in Paris, and speaking of spring, that was what Adrien Agreste had in his step as he sauntered down the street with a rather large white cardboard box, much to Plagg's confusion:

"Remind me why ya got the most expensive cake from Marinette's bakery again?"

"Plagg, this is the anniversary of the day that Kagami and I met! I wanted to make this a special one for her and I!"

"Gee, with a cake like that one, I'd have figured it was her birthday. I'm surprised you didn't get her one then."

"Well, this was a recent addition to the menu. Believe me, if it were out earlier, I would've gotten it then."

"I still say there's no anniversary gift like a huge wheel of camembert."

Adrien chuckled. "That's so you, Plagg!"

Eventually, Adrien and Plagg reached the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, located in the 19th arrondissement. Founded in 1867, it was the fifth-largest park in Paris. Their exact destination within the park was a tree near the Temple de la Sibylle. However, when they arrived, Kagami Tsurugi was nowhere to be found. Adrien set the box down and impatiently tapped his foot.

"Where could she be? She's usually more punctual than this."

"Maybe she got akumatized?" said Plagg.

Adrien shook his head. "Nah, if she were, Ladybug and I would've known it by now."

"Or what if she went to Marinette's bakery to get that exact same cake?"

"I should hope not. That would be way too much cake!"

"Ya know, as much as I love camembert, if ya can't finish all that cake, I might just be interested in trying some!"

"Thanks, Plagg!"

"You're welcome…hey, look over there!"

"Huh?"

Adrien turned to where Plagg had pointed out, and sure enough, his one and only Kagami Tsurugi had arrived, looking sharper than a katana.

"Hey Kagami!" Adrien waved at Kagami.

Kagami smiled and approached Adrien. "Good afternoon, Adrien! How are you doing today?"

"Not too bad! How about you?"

"I'm well, though I had a heck of a time getting away from Mother."

Adrien chuckled. "Parents will be parents, won't they?"

Kagami nodded. "Indeed. Now tell me, why did you want to meet me here?"

"Well, today is the anniversary of the day we met…"

Kagami gasped. "Oh dear, I forgot!" She bowed before Adrien. "I dearly apologize for my mistake."

Adrien gave a dismissive hand flap. "Relax, I've got both of us covered!"

Kagami raised her eyebrows. "Oh?"

Adrien picked up the box of cake. "Check this!"

"What's that?"

"Just a little something I picked up from Marinette's bakery for the both of us!"

"But what is it?"

"It's this new cake they introduced to their menu called 'Death By Chocolate', supposedly inspired by an American recipe."

Kagami smiled. "Adrien, that was really sweet of you!"

Kagami wrapped her arms around Adrien and kissed him, and he returned the favor. Having been forced to labor under the shadows of their domineering parents, neither one had ever imagined in a million years that they would ever find something as simple and powerful as love. Adrien had initially thought that Marinette Dupain-Cheng was the one for him, but the first time he met Kagami in Mr. D'Argencourt's fencing class, he became smitten with her. However, even though she'd displayed signs of interest in him, he wasn't totally sure she had genuine romantic interest in him…that is, until a certain night they'd spent at the Eiffel Tower. Kagami remembered that night almost like it was yesterday. When Adrien told her that he'd never wanted any girl more than her, she got overwhelmed with emotion like never before. Nevertheless, she welcomed it all, knowing that with this blond, she could actually have a shot at true happiness. Even if their parents would try to keep them apart, their love was far more powerful than anything on this planet, powerful enough to turn water into gasoline, even. Eventually, Kagami broke away from the kiss.

"Why don't we have some cake now?" she said.

Adrien smiled, and after setting a towel down and breaking out some plates, utensils and napkins, he opened the box and cut the cake into ten pieces, serving a slice to Kagami before serving himself. They both dug in and were almost immediately stunned by how rich, decadent and chocolatey it was.

"Wow Adrien, I've never had a cake like this before!"

"Me neither! We'll definitely have to thank Marinette and her family for this one!"

"And I'll have to thank you again for getting this for us! That was so nice of you to remember our anniversary like this!"

Adrien rubbed the back of his head. "What can I say? My favorite girlfriend deserves to be remembered!"

Kagami blushed. "Oh, Adrien!"

Adrien and Kagami continued to enjoy the cake. Granted, they would never be able to finish it in one sitting, but they would at least be blessed with the memory of this day.
