Cat Noir sighed happily as he flopped down in the green grass. It was finally, finally, spring. No more snow, no more mittens, hats and scarves until next winter. He took a deep breath of fresh air, breathing in the scent of flowers all around him. Even his Ladybug doll Ladybug had made for him last Christmas seemed to be enjoying the sun.

And how powerful the sun was! Cat purred as it warmed his black suit and face, there was nothing better then a cat lazing in the sun! Cat took a short nap, lulled by the swishing grasses and the wind gently whispering in his ear. But his nap didn't last long, for Cat wanted to find some four-leaf clover.

He got up and stretched his claws towards the sky, if he stood one his tip-toes, would he touch the blue sky? Then he waddled towards as a patch of green, but of course, Cat being Cat got distracted.

What were those yellow flowers waving and twirling in the wind, like miniature suns. Cat walked closer and begin to smile, why they were dandelions! He picked one, inspecting its bushy head just like a real lion's mane. "Roar!" Cat wanted to tough and fierce, someday his roar might impress Ladybug. Then Cat clapped a hand to his mouth for his roar was more like a meow!

Cat set down his flower, wandering towards the meadow and the desired four-leaf clovers. But a sound made his black ears turn and swivel. Was that sound of cool blue refreshing water?

Cat rubbed his eyes as he reached the dazzling stream, sparkling in the sun's rays. Cat sighed, wishing it were cream or milk, his very favorite treat. But the water was cool and parched his thirst, now on to clover picking before it got dark. But then came a noise that scared Cat, a ferocious growl! Cat looked left and right to find no one about, it was just him and his Ladybug doll. Then Cat smiled and begin to giggle, for it was only his hungry tummy!

But what was this just up ahead on the path? Dots of red promised a sweet treat. Strawberries! Cat plucked the berries and bit down on the sweet fruit, soon his mouth was covered in red juice. Cat wished he'd brought his small pail for wouldn't his lady want to go berry-picking as well?

At last, Cat reached the clover green but noticed he wasn't alone. "Hi, Kitty! Enjoying this beautiful spring weather?" Cat nodded, playing with his tail. "No one could be as beautiful as you, Bugaboo." Ladybug giggled. "How did you know I was looking for Bugaboos?" Cat grinned. "My Lady, Spring has just begin and the ghosts and goblins won't be out till fall!" "No, silly! Ladybugs! Come, help me look!"

So, the two best friends giggled and searched until they found a ladybug hiding among the clover and Cat thought he might have good luck for a day or two. "I saw a berry bush earlier. If you help me pick we could make a pie when we get back!"

They picked until the sun turned a golden color, exactly the same color as Cat's golden bell. Purple shadows soon crawled across the grass and the two best friends held hands coming back.

When Cat crawled into bed that night, smelling of spring he smiled a Cheshire grin. Spring had only just begun, and there were so many more adventures with Bugaboo to be had!
