Ladybug hurried through the streets Paris, her eyes up towards the sky. No, there was no akuma, no danger to be had, but Ladybug had to get to the Eiffel Tower for Golden Hour was fast approaching and she might be keeping her partner waiting.

Already even with the rooftops blocking her view the sky was a palette of pinks, reds, yellows and orange, reminding her of a fun fair that she had been to when she was younger. She put on an extra burst of speed, heart pumping and feet pounding.

At last, the world famous Tower came into view, but there was no time to admire. Fingers of sunlight reached towards the Tower, the famous super heroine just a small shadow in its view.

With a yell of exhilaration, she tossed her yo-yo and started leaping her feet knowing where to land on the ancient iron. Half away up the Tower, she heard a voice call out and paused. It was Cat, on his baton whirling and leaping. Ladybug smiled as he approached. "Don't tell me you were napping again," she teased, and Cat answered but kissing her tail wrapped around his baton. Pulling back, Ladybug looked to the west, and gasped with delight. More colors from the artist canvas now filled the sky, deeping as the light slowly faded. "That was quite a show!" Ladybug said, putting the colors away in her memory. But then, her stomach growled. "Oops."

Cat grinned, his green eyes glowing in the darkness. "Don't worry, I set up a picnic at the top for just the two of us. See, no napping for me!" "Race you?" Ladybug asked, her bluebell eyes dancing and feet itching to win. "See you in the morning!" Cat yelled, running now on four paws.

But he didn't know his Lady had a secret weapon, and she used both her yo-yo and the Tower as a springboard. She cracked up as she passed Cat's astonished face, giving him a wink and blowing a kiss.

"Maybe your baton's rusty," she giggled as Cat finally made it to the top. "The only thing that's rusty is my lips, Bugaboo. For I haven't kissed you since this morning." It wasn't quite dark, but it would be soon and Ladybug was glad for the warmth of Cat's arms. She didn't know how long they stood in there in embrace, or his lips on hers. But another growl from her stomach reminded her of her hungry tummy.

Cat laughed, keeping a hold on her hand. A picnic blanket and a spread of food had been set out, and Ladybug took her partner's arm. "Oh, Cat, that looks wonderful." "Why, my Lady, this is just a little snack." she giggled. "Is this from the Dupain-Cheng bakery?" Cat looked guilty. "Yes, but you know my cooking skills are no match for yours!" "In this case, its the food that counts."

The moon rose, sailing above them, casting a sliver glow over both of them. "I couldn't eat another bite," Ladybug groaned awhile later. "Not even for a strawberry?" Cat's voice was husky as he held the berry to her lips, her teeth grazing his fingers.

For awhile, after they'd eaten, they cuddled together in a blanket watching the stars. "This was truly the perfect way to end the day," Ladybug said, sleepily, lulled by her partner's warmth. "Sleep, my Ladybug, I'll see you at dawn. Sleep, my love, I'll see you at golden hour."
