The group had ate some energy bars as breakfast, and they continued their way over to the mountains. It had been hard, especially because of their pregnant group member.

A few days had passed, and they were at the edge of a big river.

"Shit," Lee started saying, "Is it safe?" Nick finished. Carlos crossed his arms, and tossed some binoculars to Clementine. The female got his indirect, so she climbed a little rock and examined the red bridge ahead of them.

"What are ya seein', Clem?" Luke asked, his arms crossed like Carlos'. "Well, the bridge seems crossable from my view." She paused for a few seconds. "There's also a small station besides the end of the bridge."

"How big is it?" Clementine looked back at Carlos, for asking such question. "I said it was small. But anyways," She continued saying, going back to seeing with the binoculars.

"There's what seems to be a ski lodge, pretty big. We could stay there for the night." The dark haired girl got off the small rock and handed Carlos his binoculars.

"Okay, so what we waitin' for? Let's go." Rebecca said, beginning to stand up. "Hold your horses, we can't all go together! Two of you should go check the bridge out, see if it's really safe. If we all go together, we might all be at risk." Lee said, his expression stern.

"Okay, well, I'll go." Luke said, getting his machete out. Clementine went alongside of him, "I'll go, too."

"I want to come as well," Nick said. "I think it's better if it's only two, Nick." Luke said.

"I don't like this, Luke. Splitting the group is dangerous." Luke kept his expression neutral, although his eyebrows were giving Carlos a small glare. "Better than riskin' everyone at once, like Lee said." Carlos sighed and crouched next to Rebecca. "Fine. Be back soon. If it's dangerous, send a signal. Nick will be on watch."

They both nodded, and headed towards the red bridge.

Nick sighed and grabbed Carlos' binoculars, then went over to the rock Clementine was on before.

Luke and Clementine approached the entrance of the bridge, but there were two walkers blocking the way. The two of them immediately hid behind a rock.

"Well, what's your plan?" Clementine rolled her eyes and nudged him. "Let's take em." Luke chuckled and nodded, "Alright, alright. I'll take the big one, you get shorty." "Fine."

Clementine took out one of her knives, and prepared to attack. Luke already had his machete out. They both approached their targets and aimed in the head.

CHINN. The big walker fell limp to the floor, the small walker noticed and Clementine took this as the chance to attack. She pressed her knife at its skull, but it got stuck.

"Crap." She said, and tried to pull it out. Luke placed his machete on his back again, and crossed his arms, smirking at Clem. "Come on, give it a good pull, should come out." The girl couldn't help but roll her eyes, "No shit, genius." Luke stuck out his tongue.

Clementine gave a final pull, and the knife was off the dead walker's skull. She wiped the blood from the knife on her pants, and started walking inside the bridge. "Come on, lover boy." Luke laughed a little and catched up to Clementine.

As they were walking, they held hands. "I always had a fear of bridges," She blurted out. Luke stared at her with a raised eyebrow. "Really? Why? They ain't scary." Clementine smacked him in the head, "Well, before this world went to shit, I used to watch scary movies and stuff. In one of them, a bridge collapsed." She shuddered at the thought. "I always panicked when mom and dad would drive through a bridge, but I got it under control now, although it still scares me."

"Wow, Clem. Why did ya offer to come with me then?" Clementine crouched down to the floor, as she saw something. "You really think I'd let you go with Nick? He keeps carrying around that gun. Nuh-uh." She said this, as she threw away what seemed to be a coin.

"Good po-" "SHIT!" Luke turned around, and saw two walkers approaching them. Clementine turned to the other side, and there was another walker.

Clementine went over to where there was only one walker, and started to approach it slowly. Luke took out his machete and killed one of the walkers.

The wood trails were a bit shaky, but Clementine was determined. As she was about to kill the walker, the wood below her broke. "AHHH!" She quickly held onto some tube, and the walker fell as well. The walker was trying to get her. "Luke! Shit!"

Luke quickly killed the other walker, and ran towards where Clementine was. "Shit! You okay?!" He asked and tried to reach in for her, but he couldn't.

"I-I'm okay, just a little stuck!" Clementine laughed nervously and almost slipped, but held tightly onto the tube. She had started crying, but not loudly. Luke had left to find something to pull her in with, and he found a small tube.

He ran to where she was again, and started beating the walker in the head until it's head fell limp. Luke gave Clementine the tube, and she quickly grabbed it and used it to lift herself up. Luke helped her, and the dark haired girl immediately started hugging him.

"Shh, shh, it's okay, it's over alright?" Clementine kept on crying, but nodded. "I kept on slipping. I thought I was going to die." She said, as she looked at Luke. He gave her a sympathetic smile and wiped her tears away. "But you're okay now, see? Safe and sound." Clementine gave a soft giggle, and nodded.

They both got up and started walking further down the bridge. Clementine was sniffling and rubbing her eyes, when she felt Luke's hand on her stomach. "Wha-" "You see him?" She looked confused and looked up at where he was, and saw a figure walking towards them. "Not a walker.." she said and adjusted her hat.

"Play it cool, okay? Can you uh, do the talkin'? I don't wanna get in any more fights." Clementine nodded, rolling her eyes a little, the stranger was slowly getting closer.

"Don't make any sudden moves, looks like he's got a gun." She gulped and nodded. "Is he with Carver?"

Luke shook his head, "Doesn't look like it, don't think so. But keep your eyes peeled." She nodded and the stranger was at a safe distance.

"Well, who are you?" The stranger shouted for us to hear. "Um, this is Luke and I'm Clementine."

"Clementine and Luke." The stranger repeated, and there was a long pause, and the stranger was getting closer. "Huh. You don't look like assholes, ARE you assholes?" Luke was glaring at the stranger, but Clem kept a neutral yet scared expression.

"No, we're not. We're friendly." The stranger approached closer. "You folks headed north like everyone else?" Clementine arched her eyebrow.

""Everyone else"?" Luke quoted him. The stranger approached us and was now in front of us. He was wearing a black and white hoodie, had a mustache and chin hair, and looked like he could be Asian originated.

"I see at least one group a day move through here." Clementine widened her eyes. "Have you seen someone named Christa?"

"Christa? Maybe." Clementine's heart started to beat faster again. "Really!?"

"Nah, I mean, a lot of people come through here. I don't know." "Oh.."

The stranger kept his rifle in his hands. "I gotta say, you two look like shit. If you need food, I've got some canned stuff in that station back there." He said, motioning towards the small station I had mentioned before.

"Well, that's uh… awful nice of ya. What's the catch?" Luke asked, his hands over his hips. The dark haired girl bit her lip. "No catch. I've got plenty."

"Well alright then, thank you." Luke said, "Yeah, we appreciate it." Clem said, smiling at the stranger.

"Hey, no problem, nice running into friendly faces out here. Like I said, I've got plenty food and supplies back at the station. And if you… want…" He stopped his sentence and widened his eyes in worry. "What the fuck, man?" They turned around to see what he was worried of and saw Nick holding his gun. "What the heck is he doing?" Luke asked.

Nick then held his gun towards the stranger, and the stranger did the same. Luke and Clementine held their hands up, "He's with us!" "No no no, he's wi-with us man!" Luke said and then started waving his hands around. "Nick! No!" "Put it down!" Clementine stood in front of the stranger and placed her hands up. "NICK, NO!" "Clementine!"

BANG.

The bullet had impaled Clementine's bitten arm, more towards her shoulder. "CLEM!" Luke shouted and crouched next to her, as she had fallen down. "Shit, what the fuck?!" The stranger said at Nick, and he had widened his eyes. "No, no, no, no!"

The rest of the group had catched up. "What the fuck was that all ab-" Lee started saying but stopped once he saw Clementine on the floor, next to Luke who was trying to stop the bleeding. "CLEMENTINE!" He ran towards her and started to help.

"What the hell happened here?!" Rebecca asked, holding onto her stomach. "This asshole aimed at me! I was helping your people. But the girl, Clementine is it? Took the bullet for me."

"Oh, no.. Carlos, do something!" Rebecca said, worried about Clementine's health. Carlos ran towards Lee, Luke and Clementine.

Clementine gave Lee and Luke a soft smile. "I'm.. I'm okay, don't think you're getting rid of me that easy.." she said, weakly. "Shit, sweet pea, don't sleep alright? We going to fix you up." "Lemme check her." Lee stayed next to Clementine as Carlos looked at the arm, and Luke stepped back a bit.

He then realized who had shot her. "NICK! WHAT THE FUCK!" Luke angrily was approaching him, ready to beat him. Alvin was quick enough to stop him.

"I'm sorry! How was I supposed to know she would get in the way?!" They argued, which attracted some walkers.

"She's fine, the bullet went through her. She's losing some blood but nothing deadly, she should be fine." Carlos said, standing up. "Thank God.." Lee said and helped Clementine up. "Do you want me to carry you, honey?" She shook her head. "No, I can walk, don't worry." Lee nodded.

"We need to move!" Lee shouted at his group. The stranger lead the group towards the small station. Clementine sat down next to Rebecca on a chopped tree.

"Are you okay?" The pregnant woman asked. Clementine nodded weakly. "Yeah, just.. tired.." The stranger had gone inside the station and brought out some canned peaches and handed them to Rebecca and Clementine. They shared a can.

"Look what you caused to Clementine!" Luke said, arguing with Nick. "He drew on me! I had… I had to!" Nick replied, glaring at Luke.

"She could die because of this! Everything would be on you. Look, I know Pete was close to ya but you can't just-" "Don't you fucking dare talk about him!"

"Guys.. please.." Clem said, holding her arm. They stopped arguing, and glared at each other.

After a few moments, the stranger said he had to go grab some things from the station, and that the rest should head up to the ski lodge.

It took more time than they expected to finally reach the lodge, and they were all exhausted. "Well? What are we waiting for?" Rebecca asked, out of breath. Clementine was behind her, Lee holding her close.

"We have to be careful, that guy could be friendly, but who knows if he has more people here." Carlos answered her, Nick next to him.

"Careful? We've been on the road for five days. My back is done bein' careful." Clementine let out a weak giggle, and Rebecca smiled at her.

"Doesn't look like anybody even live here." Alvin said, peeking through the window. "Damn, nailed down tight." He then said, as he tried to remove a plank of wood from the window.

"I'll check round front," Alvin said, "I'll go with you." The Spanish man said, following Alvin.

"Stay here, sweet pea." Lee said to Clementine, making her sit down on the stairs. "O-Okay, be careful." Lee nodded and walked towards Luke.

They both talked for a short minute, and Luke walked towards the entrance of the lodge and Lee climbed up a tall "tree house" like building.

Nick had given Carlos' binoculars to Lee before, so that wasn't a problem. As Lee checked, he could see the bridge they had crossed a few hours ago. Then, out of nowhere, he saw lights. "What the..?"

A few people had come out of the ski lodge, so Nick and the rest had started pointing guns at them. They did the same.

Clementine weakly stood up and started walking towards them. "Listen everyone just stay calm!" Clementine could hear Luke say. "Who are you?! Are you trying to rob us?!" And unknown voice was heard. "Excuse me honey but do I look like a fucking thief to you?!" Rebecca then argued back. "Everyone calm down!" Another unknown voice was heard.

"G-Guys.." Clementine weakly said, walking slowly. She was right behind her group now. "Hey man, you calm the fuck down!" Alvin said, one of his hands over his hips.

"Sarah, get behind me!" "Just tell us who you are!" "We ain't here to rob nobody, just put the gun down man." Clementine was in the middle of her group now. "Fuck that!" That voice seemed familiar..

"Whoa, whoa, whoa whoa!" Luke then said. "Please, just do what he says!" The unknown female voice said again. Clementine was now in the back of two of her group members. She widened her eyes when she saw him…

Kenny.

He was glaring at her group, but then he saw Clementine. He widened his eyes and started lowering his gun. She pulled away from her group. "Holy shit."

"Wait, you know this guy?" Luke asked, as if he couldn't believe it. She was speechless.

"...Clementine?" Kenny asked, unsure if he was dreaming. Clementine immediately extended her arms and hugged him, she didn't care if she was wounded, she wanted to. He hugged her back.

After a long minute, they broke their hug. Kenny had glassy eyes, and touched Clementine's good shoulder. "I'll take that as a yes." An unknown man wearing a red sweater said.

Kenny smiled until he looked back at the group. Lee was standing there.

"Kenny.." Kenny widened his eyes again. "Holy shit, Lee!" They both walked towards each other quite fast and shared a hug. "I haven't seen you in such a long time.." Lee said, breaking their hug.

"Yeah. Shit, these people with you?" Lee nodded with a smile. "We can talk inside," Kenny said, pointing towards the lodge. "Great! I just started dinner." The man wearing the red sweater said.

Carlos had his arms crossed and looked worried. "Are you sure you don't mind?" He asked. "It's gonna storm soon. Please, come in."

Lee and Clementine walked alongside of Kenny, all sharing warm smiles. The red sweater wearing man opened the door for them, and they were amazed at the place.

Running electricity! Oh man, a Christmas tree, shit, music! Clementine thought, as she was amazed at the lodge.

"Holy shit, Kenny. You living the life here, man." Lee said, nudging him. "Kenny and Sarita have been staying with us for several weeks. Used to be a ski lodge, obviously. So we got plenty of food." He said, and then started walking further in. "And believe it or not, we still get some power from that wind turbine out front."

"This is amazing, Kenny." Clementine complimented. The man spoke about how they don't put the lights on at night. Kenny then proceeded to make fun of him by mimicking him in silent. Clementine giggled silently and Lee shook his head, smiling.

"What's funny?" The man asked, turning around. "Oh, nothing Walter." Kenny said, walking up the following stairs. Okay, his name is Walter, noted. Clementine and Lee thought.

"Walter here is one smart son of a bitch. Makes a mean can of beans, too." Walter rolled his eyes at Kenny's comment. "Well, why don't you three catch up while I get some dinner done?" Walter said, smiling.

The rest of the group had started coming in. "Please, make yourselves at home. You can leave your things over there." Walter pointed towards a wooden bench. Lee and Clementine nodded and placed their guns and Clem's knives in there.

"The hell we will." Rebecca said, slightly glaring at Walter. "Yeah, I'm holdin' onto my rifle. Thanks." Clementine sighed at her group.

"You're our guests here, there's no need to worry." Walter said, feeling a little upset. "Tell him to put his gun down then." Nick said, motioning towards Kenny. "Kenny?"

"Will you guys vouch for these people?" Kenny asked Lee and Clementine. "Cause if you tell me they're good, I'm good." "Us? You're the one waving a gun around, man." Nick then spat out. "We're cool, okay? Hey, hey, we're cool, we're cool." Luke then quickly said, trying to calm the air.

"Kenny, they're good people." Lee then said, and Clementine nodded. Kenny gave a final glare towards the group, and placed his gun on the wooden bench. The group then followed with some hesitation.

Carlos, Sarah and Sarita then walked in. "Dad! Look! A Christmas tree!" She was about to run off towards the tree, but Carlos stopped her. "Not now, Sarah." Luke whispered something to Carlos and he nodded, then proceeded to place his weapons on the wooden bench like the others.

Kenny then proceeded to hug Lee with one arm on his back and lead him to the couch nearby. Clementine followed them. "I'll go make dinner now. Sarita can show you where you can sleep." Walter said with a smile and headed to where the food was.

"Come on, I'll show you." Sarita said, with a smile and lead the group to separate rooms upstairs. Kenny then proceeded to hug Lee with one arm on his back and lead him into the couch nearby. Clementine followed them.

"Man, I thought you two were fried. Haven't seen ya'll in like.. I don't even know, man." Kenny said to his two friends, smiling. "Must've been a long ass time for you to grow that beard." Lee replied, pointing at Ken's beard. He laughed and so did Clem. "It's been almost what, 10 years? I think.." Clementine said, weakly smiling.

"Woah, for real? Damn, you almost twenty then, kid?" Clem shook her head. "Almost nineteen." "Let's not even mention MY age." Lee said, laughing. "Still wearin' this dirty old thing, huh?" Kenny asked, messing with Clem's hat. "Seems like you got yours, too." She teased. They all shared a laugh.

"How the fuck did you even get out of Savannah? Thought you were eaten by fucking walkers, man." Lee asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "For some stupid reason, I tried to save that shitbird Ben.." Kenny started saying. "I tried to pull him out, really I did. But there was no chance we both could've survived. So, I uh, I left. I used the last bullet I had to get some walker off of him, but they got him either way.." Clementine widened her eyes, she then realized she was glad she hadn't been able to see that.

Kenny sighed and closed his eyes. "After that… I was all over man. I hadn't eaten for days, I was at the verge of dying.." Lee widened his eyes. "But then I found Sarita, thank God. She helped me a lot, she's my girl." Clementine nudged him a little. "I'm happy for you, Kenny." Ken smiled at the young girl. Sarita then showed up behind them.

"I showed everybody their rooms." She said, smiling at Kenny. "Great! Thanks, hon." Sarita nodded, "So, these are your old friends?" Ken nodded at her, "Yep, the ones and only, Lee and Clem. Haven't seen each other in a shit load of time."

"Well, I'm glad you two are back, it's definitely lovely having more people around. Feels like we are forming a nice community here." Clem nodded.

"Can you show me where I can sleep?" Clementine asked, rubbing her eyes. "Sure honey- Oh my God, you are hurt?" Sarita covered her mouth while saying so. "Shit, I almost forgot. Kenny, you got medical supplies? She got shot." Lee then said, getting up.

Ken widened his eyes. "Y-Yeah, Walter, fetch me the first aid kit!" He then shouted. "I'll go get some towels." Walter was seen turning off the small stove and Kenny running upstairs.

Clementine laid on the couch, holding her head. "I'm fine, Lee.. Just, tired." Lee shook his head, "You'll be alright once we fix you, okay?"

Walter and Kenny arrived both with the supplies they were getting and started to work on Clementine's arm.

After she had gotten stitches from Walter, she was all done. Clementine tried moving her arm and it hurt a bit. "It hurts." She commented. "It will for a while but it'll get better in no time." She nodded.

"Anyway, the food is ready." Walter shouted a bit loudly, for everybody to hear. Lee helped him set out plates for everybody.

As everyone sat down, Clementine was making their way to both tables. "Over here, Clem!" "Hey, Clem!" Kenny and Luke both said at the same time, calling the girl to their table.

She awkwardly made her way to the bearded man's table, where Sarita, Walter and Lee sat at. Luke looked disappointed and turned back to his group.

They all started eating, some more eagerly than others. The doors to the lodge suddenly opened, and the stranger from before came in. "Matthew! Just in time, come on sit down, I'll get you a plate." Walter said, getting up and serving a plate for him.

The older man brought the plate to their table, and they both began eating. "Damn, kid. You alright?" Matthew then asked Clementine, pointing a bit towards her arm. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for asking." Matthew nodded and continued eating.

"So, Clem, tell us more about your group there. Seems that Luke kid is in charge. Ya trust him?" Kenny asked, setting his spoon to the side. "Kenny, please, let's just eat-" "Sarita we don't know these folks, they could be dangerous."

"Well, I uh, I like him. He's a good guy." Clementine said, trying to break the tension, her cheeks getting a bit red. Lee raised his eyebrow. "Yeah, Ken. He's a nice kid."

"Would you trust him with your life?" He then asked. Clementine stared at Kenny for a few seconds and then nodded. "Yeah." Lee shrugged at the question. "I wouldn't be so sure myself. We've only been with em for a short while, not too long."

"That big dude, Al something? Said they were on a run." Lee swallowed the food he had in his mouth. "Some psycho is chasing them, apparently. Don't know what's up with that."

"Well, you two don't gotta worry about those people no more. Y'all can stay here, and it could be like old times. But even better. They can head off tomorrow and you both can stay here. What'd ya say?" Kenny then proposed, smiling. "Absolutely. You two don't have to worry about those bad people, they're not the ones after you." Sarita then said, smiling at Lee and Clem.

Lee had a big smile on his face, although Clementine looked worried. "They're stayin' for good!" Kenny said. "Slow down, Ken. If that's what they want." Walter then butted in, and Matthew then slowly nodded. "Nonsense, you two stayin', right?" Kenny and the rest of the table then turned to Lee and the younger female.

"Absolutely." Lee commented. "What about you, Clem?"

The dark haired girl thought about it. That meant leaving Luke, leaving Sarah, leaving her friends. She'd be betraying them… but this was Kenny. Basically almost family to her.

"Yes. Thank you." She replied, Sarita immediately held Ken's hand and he had glassy eyes. Walter and Matthew smiled at each other, and Lee messed with Clem's hair. "This is like a dream come true!" Kenny said, a tear slipping from his eye. "I am so happy right now, I can't even tell ya!" He said, banging on the table once. Clementine giggled.

Suddenly, Sarita, Walter and Matthew all got up and went over to the other table, followed by Luke and Nick coming to Kenny's table.

Luke took a glance at Clementine, but she returned it by looking down. "Hey there," Kenny greeted them with a smile. "Hope you like the food."

"Oh, it's uh, it's great. Thank you." Luke then said, looking slightly awkward. Lee and Clementine took more bites from their food.

"Peaches and beans. Great for nutrition. Not too great on the way out though, I tell ya." He joked and Clementine let out a laugh, while Lee looked at Ken disgusted, although a small smile was on his face. Luke and Nick didn't seem to find his joke funny.

"So, it's Luke… and Nick," Kenny said pointing at them, "Luke and Nick. You guys sure look like a match." Luke was about to put his spoon inside his mouth, but abruptly stopped once Kenny finished his statement. Lee sighed a bit at this, and could feel the air tense up a bit.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Nick asked, obviously taking offense to what he said. "I'm just saying you look like great friends, is all." Kenny then corrected himself. Clementine was playing a bit with her spoon, listening to them.

"So, what's your plan here? Hold out for the winter?" Luke asked Kenny, a bit serious than he normally was. "Actually, we were thinkin' of movin' on. Somewhere up North." The bearded man responded.

"You ever heard of a place called Wellington?" Kenny asked, looking at Lee and Clem. "Wellington? The hell is that?" Luke asked, "A place."

"Yeah, actually. Christa, Clem and I were heading there." Lee replied and Clem nodded. "Before she uh.. yeah." Clem then said.

Kenny smiled at the duo. "Supposed to be a big camp near Michigan." Nick then spoke up, "Michigan?" "Yeah, Michigan, you got a hearing problem, kid? Look, think about it, fresh water, lots of land, and cold ass winters so the walkers get slow." Lee nodded in agreement. "Sounds like bullshit." Nick then said.

"Guys.." Clem quietly said. "Listen Vanilla Ice, I don't know what your deal is, but you're more than welcomed to take off in the morning." The dark haired girl covered her face with her hands, and listened to the argument. Luke was glaring at Kenny.

"that'd be just fine by me!" Nick then answered. "Come on, Kenny, Nick, you both have to calm down!" Lee then said, trying to calm them down.

"No, Lee, if this shitbird is going to keep on-" "Well fuck you too, buddy." Nick spat out. "It's fine, Nick. We're not stayin'." Luke then said. "Good, but they're stayin'." Kenny then said, referring to Lee and Clem.

"Wha- s'cuse me? Clem?" Luke asked, surprised. "You heard me." Kenny then said, glaring at Luke.

Clementine pulled herself from between Nick and Lee and walked off from the table. "Clem, where you going?" Lee sighed but stayed at the table, in case things got too heavy.

Walter then got up from his seat, tired of hearing that other table bicker. "Gentleman please, there's no need for this." Luke, Nick and Kenny all glared at each other. "It's been a long day, please, eat." Sarita went back to her original table, and so did Nick. Luke stayed where he was.

"Pass me that can, Katjaa." Kenny asked Sarita, who looked at him confused. Lee widened his eyes. "Katjaa? Who's Katjaa?" Luke asked, a bit rudely. "Kenny.." Lee then said, sympathetically. The bearded man shook his head and closed his eyes. "I'm okay, Lee." Then they ate in complete silence.

After they all finished eating, Walter and Matthew helped clean up the tables. Carlos then approached Walter with Alvin and Rebecca behind him. Lee was next to Kenny, sitting still at the tables where they ate.

"Look, we are sorry for Nick's and Luke's behaviour, we've had a rough couple of days. It is fine if you want us to leave by dawn, we weren't staying either way." Carlos explained, his face giving a frown. "Oh, no worries. We get it. If you would like, you could stay a couple of more days. Seems like the lady here could use a much needed rest." Walter said, smiling at Rebecca. Rebecca looked at Alvin, then at Carlos. "Hmph… Are you sure your friend wouldn't mind? He seems quite irky of us." Carlos then said, slowly.

"Do not worry about that, you are more than welcomed to stay." Carlos, Becca and Alvin smiled.

Clementine was in what seemed to be her room, there were two small beds, so she knew she was sharing with someone. She claimed the nearest bed to her,, and she laid there. Her stomach growled, she wasn't able to eat that well due to the argument.

There was no more noise from downstairs, so she realized everybody was heading to bed. The door to her room opened, and Sarah came in. "Oh, hi Clem!" Clem sat down on her bed, and waved a little with her good arm. "Hey Sarah. Had fun?" She immediately nodded, "Yeah! Sarita and I were decorating the awesome Christmas tree! It was so cool!" The older girl chuckled, "I bet, it's pretty cool having a Christmas tree around."

They talked for a small while, and then there were a few knocks on the door. Sarah got up and opened it, Luke was there. "Hi, Luke!" Luke gave a small smile, "Hey, Sarah, uh, is Clem in there? I want to talk to her." Sarah nodded, "Yeah, she is! Do you want to talk alone?" Luke nodded and Sarah understood, so she left the room.

Luke entered and Clementine was in the same position. The brown haired boy slowly made his way towards her bed, and sat next to her. "So, uh, you stayin' here with 'em?" He then asked. Clementine looked down and closed her eyes. "...Yeah." Luke sighed at her answer. "I mean, I sort of figured we were a thing, ya know?"

"We are! It's just… it's difficult, okay? Look, some man is chasing you guys and Kenny and Lee are here, they're basically my family. I can't.. I can't just abandon them, okay?" Luke sighed. "Clem," he started saying. "Um, yes?" "You DO know that Carver saw you, and basically he is now after you too right?" Clementine saw him, astonished.

"W-What? No, that's not true," "It is," "Luke STOP!"

They both got silent. "I'm sorry, Clem, but it's true.. I'm so sorry." Clementine sighed, "I guess I should've known."

They both fell silent again. "Um, how's your arm doin'?" Luke then asked, trying to make conversation. "It's better, doesn't hurt a much anymore." Luke placed his fingers on top of her wound, and she winced a little.

Clementine sighed and gave up, she hugged Luke. Luke wasn't expecting it, but he hugged her back nonetheless. She then joined her lips with his, and they kissed for a few seconds. "You should sleep now." Clem said in a whisper, after breaking the kiss. Luke nodded, his eyes closed. "Okay." He then laid down on her bed, and started to playfully snore.

"Heeey, I meant in your bed, in your room!" The girl said, laughing and tugging on his shirt a little. "Aww, come on. We did it a few nights ago, why can't we do it now? We ain't doin' nothin' bad." It was true, a few nights ago they had shared a tent, but nothing else happened.

"Okay, fine, but no funny business, alright?" Clem said, positioning herself besides him. "If there wasn't any before, there won't be now. Quit worryin'."

After a few minutes, Sarah opened the door slowly. "Clem..?" She whispered. "Yeah, Sarah?" Clementine asked, and sat down a little. "Did Luke leave?"

"Oh, no, he's right here. He uh… he got scared, yeah, so he decided to sleep here. Is that okay with you?" Clementine asked, making sure this wouldn't make the younger girl uncomfortable. "Oh, okay! Wow, Luke is a baby." Clementine laughed and could feel Luke trying to hold back his laughter.

"Yeah, he is." Sarah laid on her bed, and immediately fell asleep.

Let's see what tomorrow brings them..
