Dear Mom,

I got the job! You are now the proud mother of a Gotham delivery driver. I'm getting you a tee-shirt.

Basically this means I will be working three and a half hours a day 5 days a week and a full eight hours on Saturdays. Yeah! One milestone done! On to the next challenge.

I have college orientation tomorrow morning and job orientation in the afternoon. I suspect I will be completely disoriented by dinner time and ready to come home by bed. Tuck me in Mommy! I miss you!

I don't have much else to say other I possibly may be getting a room mate. The apartment owner said another college student was asking around about shared rent. Someone to share rent would be nice. I would have to do a meet and greet before I decide.

While coming back from the job interview I was personally escorted by an old gentleman who went by the name of Buckle. When I asked him if that was really his name he said it was a nickname from his boxing days. Dad knows a bit about boxing, ask him for me will you? Anyways, he was quite stern with me and said I shouldn't be walking the streets by myself, especially at this time because there was an escapee from some prison and he was very dangerous and unpredictable. Then he proceeded to personally walk me to my steps and made sure I went and and reminded me to lock my doors, before ambling off. The guy must have been about 80 years old but he was built like the hoover damn. He would have been about six foot two without his stoop, and broad shouldered. Talked slow though. I think he took a few too many hits.

But there you have it! There are good people in Gotham. So don't worry. I will be ok. Give dad a kiss for me, and tell your tumultuous teen twins I miss them and will write them soon.
