Chapter 4: Attending 2 Important Family Funerals.

(Two and a half weeks later, Mikaela Haselwood's POV/Marinette Dupain-Cheng's POV...)

Two and a half weeks after the interview was broadcast, Chloe and I visited Adrien once more.

But this time around, it wasn't for a normal visit or a playdate. Rather, it was because Adrien's cousin Felix Fathom was visiting alongside his parents, the American billionaire Colt Fathom and his wife Amelie Graham de Vanily, Emilie Agreste's twin sister and second half of the Graham de Vanily family bloodline that still lives and holds a long history of British nobility so far.

If Chloe and I are being honest with ourselves, we had mixed feelings about having to meet Felix.

On the one hand, it'll be nice to get to know Felix, Amelie, and Colt before Emilie goes comatose and before Colt dies of whatever killed him before the start of Miraculous Ladybug. Even I don't remember what it was that killed Colt, but maybe I will remember when that time comes.

But on the other hand, along with our army of friends who we reunited with over the course of the past 5 years or so, Chloe and I hated Felix for the things he did, and it was one part Thomas Astruc's fault, one part Fate's fault for not introducing Marinette to Felix sooner, and 2 parts Marinette and Adrien not revealing their identities to each other on their first day and not revealing their identities to each other without finding some way to become immune to Hawk Moth's Akumas while finding some way to prevent their relationship from becoming public and therefore averting the Cat Blanc timeline altogether.

And all of that, well, that resulted in, amongst other things, Felix tricking Pennybug into thinking he was Adrien and handing the Chinese Zodiac Miraculouses to Shadow Moth in exchange for the Peacock Miraculous, Felix getting away scot-free thanks to the show not taking any cues from fanfictions of our Earth – although admittedly not a lot of people would appreciate it, and that combined with the overall story would've rendered Felix's character a bit of a waste if he and his mother were apprehended, put on trial, sentenced to prison, and had their titles permanently revoked by the currently still alive in this world's timeline Queen of England. But also admittedly, wanting the original cartoon to have a multiverse style episode order depicting fanfiction-style alternate takes on every episode of the show – singular episodes, in unison, or otherwise – makes me sound like an entitled brat who would stop at nothing to change the cartoon itself after wresting control of it from Thomas Astruc after spending years studying how cartoons work and studying how to be a cartoon/movie director in terms of computer-animated cartoons and computer-animated movies.

But anyway, in preparation for today's meeting with Felix, Chloe and I wished for the ability to differentiate between humans and Sentimonsters simply by looking at the face of the extraterrestrial being in question and depending on what we detect, we would feel the following. Either of us would be feeling a small vibration in our brains if we detect a human, a slightly big vibration if we detect a humanoid Sentimonster who's unaware of their true status, unaware of their Peacock Miraculous-wielding creators, unaware of their inability to fight back against those like Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth if he ever made motions with the Peacock Miraculous or his wedding ring, and so forth, along with a more small vibration that actually feels like a massage chair at low power if we detect a kwami, a medium-sized vibration if we encounter an alien, and well, you get the idea.

This was just because, back on our Earth, in the Confrontation episode of Miraculous Ladybug season 5, Felix revealed that he, Adrien, and Kagami Tsurugi were Sentimonsters, with him and Adrien being invented by Emilie Agreste for her and Amelie to raise just because they both turned out to be infertile, and Tomoe Tsurugi used the Peacock Miraculous in its damaged state to create Kagami for unknown reasons, and it was theorized that the ruptured magic of the Peacock Miraculous was what rendered Tomoe permanently blind.

I find that to be a buncha bullspit, because as far as my friends and I remember, using a damaged Miraculous jewel even once or sparingly does not, I repeat, does not cause blindness to develop in human beings.

Although admittedly, a lot of people on the Sentimonster Adrien, Sentimonster Felix, and Sentimonster Kagami boats did raise a lot of good points about how they were Sentimonsters.

But when we did find out that Adrien, Felix, and Kagami are Sentimonsters, neither of us were happy at all.

We believed that Adrien and Kagami being Sentimonsters would render the show redundant, not so interesting, etc. in every sense of the words if Gabriel or Tomoe ever got their hands on the Peacock Miraculous and forced Adrien and Kagami to submit to their orders and/or snap them out of existence if provided the opportunity to do so.

But anyway, there's definitely no better time than the present day to test out our new superpower on Adrien and Felix when we enter Adrien's bedroom.

And as we entered the Agreste Mansion, Chloe telepathically told me that it was an odd occurrence to be escorted to Adrien's bedroom and expect it to be empty except for the sole occupant it was made for rather than Adrien and Felix.

But we did indeed find Adrien and Felix there in Adrien's bedroom instead.

I was doing all I could to maintain a poker face as I tried to push Felix's future crimes to the farthest back recesses of my mind while thinking of ways to alter his future for the better.

As much as I hate to admit it, as much as I wanted justice and vengeance on Felix and his mother for the things they did, even Chloe and myself have the power and the resources we need to change Felix's future for the better in this timeline.

Especially since I had recently gotten in contact with and befriended Jacques Benoit, the son of the French President in this universe, for different purposes and reasons that would benefit us all in the future. Particularly, for example, debunking any of Lila Rossi's lies about the French President and his children, as well as exposing Lila's lies, Hawk Moth's identity, corruption in Francoise Dupont High School, etc.

When my eyes met Felix's, I felt a slightly big vibration in my head, and that meant Felix wasn't a Sentimonster.

And when my eyes met Adrien's, I felt the same vibration. That meant Adrien wasn't a Sentimonster either.

I guess in most and some mainstream and not so mainstream Miraculous Ladybug timelines, Adrien, Felix and Kagami aren't always Sentimonsters, and in others, they are Sentimonsters regardless of whether they're aware of their not so human births or not.

Chloe telepathically told me she felt the same thing when she laid eyes on Adrien and Felix looking at her, meaning she now knows that Adrien and Felix weren't Sentimonsters.

Adrien exclaims excitedly, "Oh! Mari, Clo, you're here!"

Adrien dragged us towards Felix, somehow surprising even me as to how strong Adrien actually is compared to his future super strength as Cat Noir.

Adrien then continues saying, "This is my maternal cousin, Felix Graham de Vanily-Fathom, the son of my aunt Amelie and my uncle Colt. Felix, this is Chloe Bourgeois and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Chloe's the daughter of Mayor Andre Bourgeois, and Marinette is not only a part of a baker family, but she's also a friend of Jacques Benoit, the son of the French President."

Felix's eyes widened when he heard about me and my ties to Jacques and the President of France.

Chloe states, "Just call me Chloe. It's a pleasure to meet you."

I added, "And you can call me Marinette. It's definitely a privilege."

Chloe shook hands with Felix first, and I went next.

Felix remarks with a smile even I knew was slightly fake, "Charmed, my ladies."

I then asked, "I must ask, are you the opposite of Adrien in some ways than others? Because he seriously doesn't know how to stand up for what he wants without provoking any potential overreactions from his father, such as going to public school."

Felix replies, not that I was surprised, "Well, despite the fact that Adrien and I look the same by 95%, we don't share the same reluctance you specified."

I replied back, "Ah. Well, if I wanted to do something for my life in the future, I would work for it after having my parents' permission, because that's just who I am."

Felix smirked as he remarks, "I'm starting to like you both already."

Adrien then asks, "Marinette, how are you and Chloe so mature despite being children of the age group between me and Felix? I wish I was as mature as you are."

I answered him, "Well, maturity in girls progresses much faster than maturity in boys in general. Although, to be honest, sometimes depending on the person in question, their maturity takes a shorter amount of time to increase."

Adrien nods in understanding and Felix regarded us with a look of suspicion on his face.

Chloe responded by raising an eyebrow.

Adrien then questions us, "Marinette, Chloe, I saw the interview from a few weeks ago on TVi News. Can you both explain what happened, in turns, please?"

Chloe remarks, "Well, since you said please, we'll explain. In short, I had to take over my school's information structures such as the student council, for example."

Felix inquires in a confused tone, "What? Why?"

I took over as I answered, "You see, for some time now, Wi Paris School 9 had been infected with bullies doing whatever they wanted and they got away with it because some of the educators were incompetent in the sense that they were more concerned with provoking lawsuits from the bullies' parents just because they were wealthy. The incompetent educators were more concerned about the loss of their jobs due to the bullies' parents rather than the physical, emotional, and mental health of the bullies' victims. So, because even the principal of the school was choosing to sit by and do nothing at all, Chloe had to take up arms and take over the school for a purging. She spent a week forming a flawless team for the job, she spent a month collecting evidence according to the Law of Paris, and nearly another 2 weeks and a third to present every factor of evidence to the School Board of Education. In the end, she got the principal replaced, four bullies expelled, six bullies suspended, three bullies in detention until they graduate, nine bullies arrested, five teachers fired, and two minor bullies on strict surveillance.

Adrien and Felix's eyes widened, but we knew that they were widened for entirely different reasons.

Felix was surprised, but Adrien was horrified.

I mentally growled in anger, annoyance, and frustration, having anticipated that Adrien would potentially start to ignore the fact that what we've been trying to teach him is fair and just, all because his sheltered, naïve, and somewhat passive mindset and demeanor won't allow him to see the bigger picture. And even despite the fact that the last time Chloe and I were here, Adrien recorded our explanation about bullying and lying to Adrien.

Adrien starts to ask us in horror, "Why would you both do that?! Those teachers and the principal lost their jobs, and the students now have marks on their records – "

But I held up a hand for silence, and after Adrien shuts up, I replied, "We did what we had to do because it was the right thing to do. You see, not every problem can be resolved diplomatically. The real world, even without public schools, is a whole lot different than what you see in cartoons, anime, etc. For example, when one person in a couple finds out about something related to their boyfriend/girlfriend in terms of them doing something that they weren't supposed to, outside of allying with supervillains, allying with alien warlords, and/or cheating on their lovers, that can't be resolved diplomatically. Because every action we take have consequences that reflect our rewards for our good deeds and our punishments for bad deeds."

Chloe adds, "For example, those teachers were enabling the behaviors of the bullies by allowing them to torment people without getting involved by punishing the bullies due to the bullies having wealthy families and due to the teachers fearing the wraths of the bullies' families. For example, if one of the bullies' parents was part of the Parisian government, specifically if the bully was the second child of my dad, he could potentially set about making sure that the teachers know their reputations and their careers would end rapidly if they try to punish his metaphorical second child. And trust me, those incompetent educators have to suffer the consequences so that they'll know how much they screwed up and so that they'll know what the consequences for their actions are. Bully enablers cause a lot of harm. This is what Marinette and I have tried to teach you for some time now, but seeing as how you're not looking at the bigger picture, know this: if the bully enablers weren't fired and if the bullies weren't punished properly in time, they would've made things worse to the point where their victims would commit suicide and the damage would've been ten to thirty times worse. (she pulls out a binder of papers) Don't believe me? Then read thoroughly this list of school children who committed suicide due to bullying ever since 1980."

Chloe hands the papers to Adrien, and both he and Felix read thoroughly the Wikipedia list of school students who committed suicide due to bullying and due to no one doing anything about it before it was too late.

Adrien was more horrified by the minute as he finally realized the harm that bullying can cause in the extreme sense.

Felix didn't show it, but he wasn't pleased that it took this list for Adrien to realize that, in the case of school bullying for one notable example, the real world's problems can't always be resolved with token apologies and forgiveness.

Adrien then asks me, "How could I have been such an idiot?"

Chloe answers for me, "To be blunt, it's your father's fault for not teaching you about the real world just because he wants you to carry on his fashion legacy when he retires or when he dies as opposed to letting you choose your own career or allowing you to go to public school. It's his responsibility as your father to teach you all about the disadvantages of the real world, but seeing as how he failed at that just because of his paranoia and his inability to move on from his bad experiences in the past, he shouldn't deserve to call himself your father."

Adrien looked downcast at that.

I mentally snarled in extreme annoyance.

I'm starting to change my mind about letting Adrien receive the Black Cat Miraculous in the future.

I approached Adrien and hugged him as he softly cried.

Chloe and Felix could tell I was extremely annoyed at how naïve Adrien was no thanks to his s***** father, but just so God knows, I'm still aware that I can't force someone like Adrien to change. However, if Adrien does decide not to help us with Lila or anyone of her caliber, then we will have to resort to more desperate measures after we strip him of the Black Cat Miraculous.

After Adrien let it all out, Felix queries, "My dear cousin, don't you have some mecha model you wanted to show us?"

Adrien perks up immediately much to our surprise and replies, "Oh, right! Wait here, I'll go find it!"

Adrien ran out of the room to find his toy model.

After a second or two, Felix states, "I'm impressed. I thought my cousin's best friends would be as naïve and pacifistic as he is. Nice to know that that isn't the case. And nice to see that you opened his eyes to the grey of the world."

I scoffed as I explained, "Adrien and many others like him are only naïve due to being homeschooled and due to having crappy parents like Gabriel Agreste. And besides, boys like Adrien only see things in black and white – not necessarily like Rorschach from Watchmen, but nearly enough to not see the grey areas in the lines between good and evil. If it weren't for me and Chloe, Adrien would've continued not understanding other people's motives, and he would've gone on to do whatever he thinks is right no matter how many times people say that some of the so-called '"right choices"' are wrong. Chloe and I intend to turn him into a metaphorical soldier to stand against his father should the need to take up arms against Mr. Agreste arises."

Felix then says, "I wasn't expecting that the both of you would be able to reach out to him in a manner that a therapist could, though. I suppose he made it difficult when he showed he was partially not listening to what you two have been teaching him."

Chloe answers, "Oh, he did. But even though it's not in human nature to force someone to change, we pulled it off by giving the right advice and doing all the things a responsible adult, a responsible friend, and/or a responsible figurative sibling should do."

Felix remarks with a smile, "I appreciate you two reaching out to him before it was too late."

Adrien comes in and announces, "Okay, I'm back!"

Felix, Chloe, and I turned our focus on Adrien as we allowed him to explain lengthily the details of the mecha model toy he and his mother created together. It was kinda like toy brands like Legos.

A half hour passed after that as I remember correctly, and Adrien and Felix were kinda silent the whole time.

But then, Felix spoke up as he suggests to Adrien, "Hey, cousin, I got an incredible idea. Why don't we play a little prank on our parents?"

Adrien smiles mischievously as he replies before asking, "All right! What kind of prank should we do?"

Felix whispered his suggestion into Adrien's ear, and his mischievous grin slightly widened.

Adrien remarks before questioning, "Ooh, I love the sound of that! Let's do it! But what about Clo and Mari?"

Felix asks us, "You wouldn't mind not participating in this prank, right, Marinette and Chloe?"

I answered, "No, not at all. I rather much prefer to watch pranks than participating in them."

Chloe adds, "Nope. Pranks are not for me. Besides, as long as we don't get dragged into this prank, it's perfectly acceptable."

I added as well while gesturing to my phone and Chloe's phone, "Besides, we need to read these files that Sabrina and Socqueline sent to us."

We allowed the twosome to do their humorous and slightly humiliating fun as we opened our phones – or turned them on and unlocked them, if you wanna get technical about it – and we opened the files Sabrina and Marinette's former best friend from season 5 Socqueline Wang had sent to us.

Little fact: I had met Socqueline some time ago and recruited her to our Anti-Bullying Team.

I knew I wouldn't have much time left before she left to her new school due to her advanced intellect allowing her to skip a few grades, but I assured her that as long as we kept in touch and as long as we were able to see each other on occasion if our schedules allowed it, we wouldn't have to worry about any irrational fears revolving around not seeing each other for the next slew of years.

Anyway, the files Sabrina and Socqueline texted to us contained every tidbit of data about every student and staff member of the current school we were attending: Middle School Valmy.

It took some time for our teams – separate and unified – to acquire all of the data bits and files at one hundred percent, but they succeeded.

What benefitted us all the most was that, thanks to our connections and our achievements along with our grades and our ability to display how trustworthy we were, we had unlimited access to the school's files and other kinds of data logs.

Now, some lawyers might say that what we're doing is nothing short of stalking, but we would've still pointed out to them that we believe this is necessary because if any one of the students becomes an unrepentant, remorseless, sociopathic, psychotic, murderous, muscle-bound, emotionally abusive, violent, crime-loving, sickly rotten, coldhearted, disgraceful, ungrateful, lazy, work-hating, unhealthy, child-abusing, animal-abusing, lawbreaking, bad-for-nothing, deceitful, loophole-loving, destructive, revenge-crazed, uncompromising, evil bully in one or all senses of the words, it would be better for us to quickly expose and punish them once we already have all the statistics about them prepared in advance.

Chloe and I read through every single one of the documents and pages that detailed everything personal, private, trivial, etc. about the students and staff members of the school.

I counted about 45 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes before someone caught our attention.

Chloe and I heard a voice sounding like Felix trying to imitate Adrien say to us, "Hey, Mari, Clo, Felix left me!"

We looked up and saw Felix dressed up like Adrien and having his hair stylized like Adrien's hairstyle.

I mentally scoffed at not just the cheap imitation flattery, but also at Canon Marinette being fooled by Canon Felix twice.

I remarked as I busted the ruse with a slasher smile, "What do you want, Felix? Why are you dressed like Adri-honey? As a matter of fact, I should call you Lixxie since it's a nickname for anyone named Felix and since you called us Mari and Clo."

Adrien exclaims as he appears out of who knows where while dressed as Felix, "What the?! How?! We fooled Mom, Dad, Uncle Colt and Aunt Amelie, but you two weren't convinced at all? Felix is an excellent actor, for crying out loud!"

Chloe and I laughed somewhat mockingly and somewhat hysterically before I answered on our behalf, "Adrien, Felix, darlings, Chloe and I have much better observational skills than your parents put together. I guess you could say that, in the metaphorical sense, we have the eyes of an eagle. The fact that you pulled a switcheroo should be made crystal clear to anyone who pays attention to the small details that can give you away."

Felix asks, "Such as?"

Chloe explains, "For starters, Felix's voice is slightly deeper in pitch than your voice, Adrien. And secondly, Lixxie's eyes are a darker shade of green in contrast to your emerald green eyes, Adri-honey. The both of you might look almost the same, but those are the best signs that you two aren't gonna fool just about anybody."

Felix replies somewhat reluctantly, "I see. Done in by my physical differences."

I then suggested, "The next time you do this, specifically in a video call, try softening your voice a tad and change the lighting of the video call. That way, no one can tell the difference."

Felix smirks as he replies, "I'll keep that in mind for the future."

After that, the four of us spent some more time with each other until Felix was called by his parents so they could get to the train station and return to England.

Chloe and I exchanged numbers with Felix, not just because Chloe and Felix were equals in some ways, but also because Adrien was insistent we do so.

At the same time, I exchanged my number with Felix because he could sense within my soul how much I care about Adrien in the sense of how childhood friends care about each other all the way to their high school and college days before they discover their feelings for each other or for other people.

Either way, Felix will be an invaluable asset for when we apprehend Hawk Moth and in case Master Fu is unable to revive Mrs. Agreste.

(4 years later, Marinette's POV...)

Over the course of the past 4 years, everything for the most part has been flawlessly perfect for me, for Chloe, and for our friends.

Classwork was still easy enough to warrant some challenges months and years down the road.

My friends and I have also started on some of the firster parts of preparation for Hawk Moth. Specifically starting with learning how to speak and communicate non-vocally in Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Hawaiian, Modern Greek, Haitian Creole, German, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Samoan, Welsh, Xhosa, Yiddish, Urdu, Turkish, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Cantonese, Marathi, Telugu, Shanghainese, Tamil, Javanese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Iranian Persian, Bhojpuri, Hausa, Nigerian Pidgin, Swahili, Kannada, Thai, Amharic, Basque, Lithuanian, Bosnian, Filipino, Swedish, Croatian, Tagalog, Gaelic, Serbian, Albanian, Georgian, Estonian, Farsi, Navajo, Slovenian, Afrikaans, Sanskrit, Scottish, Austronesian, American Sign Language, French Sign Language, combat hand signals, Morse Code, and secret messaging.

We also got ourselves in good shape and continuously perfected our martial arts training.

In particular, I made sure that every day in our shared spring, summer, autumn, and winter vacations before and after specific holidays over the course of the past 9 years before September 3rd, 2014, all one hundred and fifty-six of us would take extra martial arts lessons. Particularly including Shaolin Kung-Fu and Tai Chi. So that way, we'd be prepared for the Shanghai Special and I'd be prepared to defend myself against Fei in case I catch her in the act of trying to mug me and if we get in a Kung-Fu fight. Of course, I also learned how to improve my physical strength and my other kinds of strength to the point where I could use the shockwaves of my attacks to take down any of my opponents with and without needing to touch them, and no matter how big they are compared to me. Next to that, I also gained a supernatural sense of clairvoyance in the sense that I can sense friends and enemies nearby and see through any disguises of all kinds. Along with that on preparing for the Shanghai Special, I made sure to learn and teach my teammates all about how to be on the lookout for pickpockets in disguise, how to neutralize anyone who's equally skilled in martial arts styles like Kung-Fu compared to Grandmaster Su-Han or myself in my old life, and how to disarm anyone using knives, swords, or guns, no matter if their wrists are sideways while holding the eponymous weapons or not.

Along with that, I learned all there is about French cooking, French baking, Chinese cooking, Chinese baking, and I made plans to convince Mom and Dad to let me visit Shanghai, China to discover my Chinese roots at a specific time we choose as long as there's nothing that would force me to go all by myself. At least, not until the Miraculous World Shanghai Special Episode comes to pass. BUT I'm gonna make sure I go to China AFTER the Shanghai Special happens, as Marinette looking to discover her Chinese heritage.

I also used my supernaturally enhanced eidetic memory along with my foreknowledge of superhero/supervillain fighting styles, martial arts movie fights, the fights Optimus Prime has with Megatron/Galvatron, the fights Optimus Primal has with Beast Megatron, the fights Optimus Prime has with Nemesis Prime, Dreadwing, Unicron, Predaking, Skyquake, and so forth in the Aligned continuity, the fights Primeverse Arcee has with Airachnid, the fights Bumblebee has with different Decepticons, and the fights specific Miraculous Ladybug characters have with Akumatized villains, the fights Ladybug has with a mind-controlled Cat Noir, the fights Ladybug and Cat Noir have with Hawk Moth, the fights some people have with Fei, the fights Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the United Heroez have with Techno-Pirate as himself, as Techlonizer, and as Miraclonizer, the fight Cat Noir had with Ladybug under Psycomedian's anger control, and the fights that Miraculous Ladybug characters have with Grandmaster Su-Han, Furious Fu, Nathalie, Felix, Kagami, Tomoe Tsurugi, Dark Owl, Darker Owl, Queen Bee, The Collector, the United Heroez, and so forth to develop my Taskmaster ability to copy my opponent's moves just by watching them fight. BUT the only difference is, I'm capable of predicting any unpredictable movements from opponents like King Monkey or Deadpool, something that Taskmaster, the 2012 Rat King, and Party Crasher are unable to do.

But anyway, Chloe and I have been slowly at a turtle's pace installing ourselves into the managements of her father's hotel and my parents' bakery.

Sabrina and Chloe have an unbreakable friendship, as do I and Socqueline, and we formed meaningful bonds with close acquaintances in the Anti-Bullying Hierarchy and Committee.

In general, things are going according to plan to the last details.

I met Aurore Beaureal, Mireille Caquet, Nino Lahiffe, Kim Chien Le, Alix Kubdel, Max Kante, Markov, Mylene Haprele, Ivan Bruel, Juleka Couffaine, Rose Lavillant, Nathanael Kurtzberg, Marc Anciel, Jean Duparc, and the remaining students of Francoise Dupont.

I am now 13 years old in contrast to Chloe being 14 years old due to me being born a year after she was, and Chloe has been Class Representative, Head of the Anti-Bullying Hierarchy and Committee, Head of the Student Council, the Student Council President, and so forth ever since third grade and sixth grade respectively.

There was a select few students who were bitter because, as it turned out, they were unrepentant and remorseless bullies who were properly punished and warned about threats of expulsion, jail time, and so forth if they relapsed or if they tried to sneakily bully anyone from the shadows with and without knowing about being caught.

They kept saying that Chloe and I were abusing our statuses as daughter of Mayor Bourgeois and as friend of President Benoit's son to acquire our powerful stances. But within a few days, those rumors dissolved to nothingness and the gossipers quickly silenced themselves when they noticed some of our troops recording them tauntingly and threateningly at the same time.

Since Chloe was the Class Representative with Sabrina as her deputy, she arranged many recreational but educational class field trips and because of this, nobody ever badmouthed her again.

Also, since she was the leader of the Anti-Bullying Hierarchy and Committee, she made sure that the school was purified of any incompetent teachers, principals, and other staff members, with their punishments from the school board ranging from being fired, being fired and then having their teaching licenses permanently revoked, getting sent to prison, demoted to lower ranking jobs in the schools, sometimes even all three of the first ones.

And once the horrid educators were disposed of, Chloe, Sabrina, and the rest of our "army" managed to ensure that any bullies leftover would be reminded that their actions had consequences and that they better be thankful – to God, to the Parisian Police Department, etc. – that they weren't suffering in prison for the rest of their lives; otherwise, they wouldn't be given any form of parole and they otherwise wouldn't be let out of prison at the end of any of their sentences if they did indeed commit more serious crimes like kidnapping, drug dealing, assault, attempted murder, or even first degree manslaughter.

And because of this, we got many of the bullies to behave, even if they didn't like it and even if they thought it was too late to change anything for their futures. But I was very persuasive in making them realize that their actions will often reflect how other people will treat them if they refuse to repent and/or change for the better. Simply because of the fact that how people treat you the same way as you treat anyone is a two-way street, as I learned in my past life before moving to Indiana.

And because of what our forces have done, the bullied victims were sent to therapy, which our families and our family friends happily paid for, and the victims sung us in praises and gratitude.

At the same time, since Chloe was also the President of the Student Council with a select few of our soldiers serving as informants, she managed to acquisition funds for the school's clubs, class materials, and infrastructure renovations while avoiding anyone who would attempt to squander the funds for any purposes other than buying expensive collectibles, buying items that are expensive due to being rare and one-of-a-kind, and of course, illegal gambling.

Regardless, even the former bullies of the school learned to fear me, not just because of my extensive fighting experiences, but also because of my tenacity to get what I needed through moderate levels of intimidation and interrogation that are well within the perimeters of the Law of Paris. Along with my knack for following through on my "threats" if my enemies refused to bend under my ruthless tactics among other things that make me seem dangerous as a patient woman who has nearly infinite patience, a coolheaded attitude, a strategic, tactical mind that would put Ra's Al Ghul and the Transformers to shame, the advanced knowledge of the various scientists, soldiers, and so forth put together without any downsides whatsoever, and a heart of gold with trust that is exclusive to those who win my trust and my friendship pledge through legitimate means.

Even I wasn't badmouthed anymore, and those who held grudges against me kept silent on school grounds because they knew they'd get busted by anyone who has the hearing of cats, rodents, dogs, bats, elephants, horses, and dolphins, as well as the eyes of hawks, eagles, owls, goats, chameleons, mantis shrimps, cheetahs, sharks, Arctic reindeer, camels, and geckos among other kinds of animals who have excellent senses of hearing and eyesight compared to human beings.

They also knew that if they badmouthed me and Chloe in public again or on school grounds again, everyone else would be informed that they're jealous and furious. They're jealous of the power and public standings Chloe and I have, and furious that they can no longer browbeat anyone any time they wanted and howsoever they did without being punished for it.

Chloe and I stood at the highest ledge of the school, but no one actually knows that for good reason.

Chloe was the Darkness Queen of the school, ruling over her subjects from the shadows of the night with Sabrina as her second-in-command and informant, with me as her third-in-command and interrogator, with Socqueline as her fourth-in-command and data broker, and with the rest of our friends as frontliners to keep everyone else under control while giving them the falsehood that they were given permission to do anything they wanted to do, no questions asked.

The only ones who knew this aside from the former educators who are either drowning their sorrows or rotting in prison were the bullies. They knew with certainty that we were all always watching and no one took them at their word because their truth-telling, or whatever's left of it, is now being taken with dump truck shovelfuls of salt.

Especially since their reputations have been tarnished beyond repair by what they did in the past.

But then, the main storyline of the Agreste family in the first 5 seasons of Miraculous Ladybug started to come faster than normal.

How do I know this? Well, on the day Emilie "disappeared," Chloe held Gabriel as he wept, and I did the same with Adrien.

At the public funeral – something that Thomas Astruc may or may not have lied about being canonical for Gabriel to throw people off his trail before he could take up his Hawk Moth identity – I said my speech about how much I admire Emilie Agreste for being the mother that she was for not just Adrien, but for us as well. Flawed, but so gentle, so caring, so understanding, and so capable of melting stone cold hearts everywhere.

I revealed that I looked up to Emilie as an upgrade of my own mother, Sabine, and I said that even though I love Emilie like a second mother, no one can truly replace my own mother.

I revealed some of the things I taught Emilie about for the future before we were given the news, chief among them being that just because taking the high road with tabloids dispels rumors doesn't mean that Adrien shouldn't learn how to defend himself from any potential bullies who are either plotting from the shadows or sulking in private areas over the losses of their power over the schools of Paris, or even that he should stand up for someone who's reputation and relationships are being destroyed by lies that people with no brain cells would take as gospel.

Of course, for all of that in my farewell speech, I kept it all short before I said as tears streamed down my stoic face, "I love you, Emilie Agreste. May you find rest in the hereafter, and may you find your place in God's kingdom no matter what happens and no matter if you were born religious or not. God bless you, Emilie Agreste."

Gabriel and Adrien had approached me and they hugged me, Gabriel in particular leaning slightly due to how somewhat close to his height Adrien and I were at present.

Then, just this year, Chloe and I received a simultaneous call from Felix.

His dad died just recently.

His private plane crashed, and he died on impact even though he was wearing a seatbelt. And despite the doctors' efforts, he couldn't be saved.

Now, wait a minute. I remember now! This is how Colt died in the show. Or at least, in this timeline; I still don't remember how precisely he canonically died.

But the point is, when the Pretention episode of season 5 was released, we had all found out from Felix's own mouth that Colt Fathom was, and I quote-unquote, "a thousand times worse than Tomoe Tsurugi."

But since Felix didn't elaborate further, it stands to reason that despite feeling grief over his father's funeral, there's a high chance that Colt was just as abusive as Gabriel Agreste after Emilie's death and Tomoe Tsurugi separately in some cases, and in unison in other cases.

And there's a high chance that, Sentimonsters theory true or not, Amelie Graham de Vanily didn't even report Colt's abuse to the London authorities for any reason. I don't know what that reason is, but once I find out about it, I'll be sure to use the Rabbit Miraculous to go back in time to a few days before Colt dies to give him an ass-kicking, and to give Amelie a thorough lecture about the consequences of married people not reporting to the authorities about their spouses abusing their children.

I asked on Chloe's behalf, "Are you feeling okay?"

Felix muttered in response before revealing, "No, I am not feeling okay. And neither is my mom feeling okay, for that matter. She attempted to call Uncle Gabriel for the funeral procedures, but he's refusing to attend, and he's refusing to allow Adrien to attend as well. The bastard even had the audacity to offer payment for the funeral as an apology. Seriously, it's as if taking our family's wedding rings for his own regardless of whether or not he's the actual owner by wedding contract wasn't enough for him. Mother was feeling very wrathful, claiming that to disgrace our families in such a manner is to court death by decapitation in England since France has long past continued to outlaw capital punishment after 1981."

I growled menacingly, making Felix go silent in shock, even though he knows I couldn't see his face right now.

I then said in a savage tone, "I knew something like this would happen. I knew his inability to move on from Emilie's death would cause him to become overly strict, overly controlling, emotionally abusive, and completely possessive. And I knew that Gabriel's paranoia, his hatred of all humanity, and his inability to let go of Emilie would eventually force him to make decisions about Adrien's safety, wellbeing, and so forth without considering Adrien's own feelings on the matter. And I knew that Gabriel would capitalize on any opportunity to show off his so-called '"superiority"' to the Graham de Vanily family despite the fact that Gabriel Agreste is just a legalized change name for Gabi Grassette, and that the Agrestes are actually Grassettes that Gabi doesn't want Adrien to meet whatsoever in an attempt to permanently bury and forget about his past as a French fry cook. If he refuses to allow Adrien to attend the funeral just because he thinks he's doing this for Adrien's mental health and emotional health, he's sadly mistaken. The next time I see Gabriel, I'll kick him so hard in the nuts that he won't be able to make merry with any woman other than Emilie or Nathalie. And besides, Colt was as abusive as Gabriel and Tomoe Tsurugi in some cases, separately or in unison. Either way, his life is in God's hands now, and we all know better than to speak ill of the dead."

Even Chloe looked shocked at my somewhat monstrous demeanor.

But then, I said to change the subject while looking at my calendar for the current month we were in, "But that's something for another time. Give Chloe and I some time. We'll convince our parents to let us attend the funeral. It's coming up on the 18th of this month, correct?"

Felix starts to protest, "Yes, but – "

I interrupted coldly for even Felix's taste, "No buts, you need support to help you with your grief, and since your f****** stupid excuse of an uncle is preventing that support from being flown to England, and since your mother is in no emotional, physical, or mental conditions to give you the support you need, Chloe and I will be happy to oblige. And if my parents wish to attend, who am I to stop them? Goodbye."

I hung up.

Chloe's inner Hazel asked me, "Mikaela, aren't you being a little harsh?"

I answered while letting my inner Mikaela take hold for a bit, "Maybe a tad. But it had to be done. Now, let's get Felix the support he needs before he ends up causing irreparable harm in the future."

It took a bit of work to convince our parents to let us attend the funeral on Felix's behalf, but it worked on the condition that my parents also attend the funeral. And it was actually Mom's idea.

We had to deal with Sabrina suffering a panic attack, but she was assured that she didn't have to rely on Chloe, me, or any of our classmates to deal with our businesses on her own.

After we had an ice cream treat, we met Jean at the landing pad and got in the helicopter, which was an Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma troop transport helicopter we specifically use for transporting more than three to four people from France to another location in the world for some reason that completely escapes me.

On the way to England, we started on our homework for the week at best possible pace, thankful that we were able to convince our teachers to let us have the week's homework in advance since we're attending a funeral and helping a friend in need for a week at most. And we ended up finishing by the time we landed.

In a short time, we attended the funeral, and shockingly, Adrien turned up in disguise, apparently being assisted by Unity Harbinger.

I thanked Unity Harbinger and introduced Felix to him while being vague with how Chloe and I know the timekeeper.

I could tell that Felix was too full of grief to care about investigating how much we know about Unity Harbinger. But all the same, we will have to be careful about the subject in the future just in case Felix or Adrien ever decided to ask us about our connection with the all powerful timekeeper of the Quantic Multiverse.

We were there for Felix and Amelie in every way possible.

And now, the only person Felix hates is his s***** uncle Gabriel/Gabi.

It's only a matter of time before Hawk Moth arises, and we need to be ready.

It's time to pay the Great Guardian a visit.

And our friends have never been more than ready.

The End.

(Bonus: Marinette visits Colt's grave a second time.)

In London, England, in the famous Brompton Cemetery, 19 year old Marinette Dupain-Cheng enters the graveyard.

Marinette finds Colt Fathom's grave.

Marinette places her hands over her crotch area like people do in funerals and she says, "Hello, Colt. It's been years since I last talked to your spirit. I know I'm not supposed to speak ill of the dead, most especially because I come from a religious family both in this current life and in my past life as you probably were told over the years since your fatal accident, but you were a really shitty person and parent to Felix and to Amelie. Regardless of whether or not Felix and Adrien were Sentimonsters, nobody should ever abuse them. That's something you learned the hard way, and that's something Gabriel, or should I say Gabi, learned the hard way during his trial and when Emilie shot down his court defenses and his awful lies to the judge. But nevertheless, Adrien and Felix are living the lives they want to live for themselves. Granted, Adrien wanted nothing to do with his former father's former fashion company even before Gabriel became a terrorist – and yes, Adrien has long since disowned his father when we found out Gabriel had every intention of reviving Emilie and he possibly would've been all too happy to sacrifice Adrien in exchange for Emilie being resurrected – but when we graduated from lycée, I had gotten the apprenticeship Gabriel previously offered me years before his terrorist campaign started and the same one Audrey Bourgeois offered me during the Style Queen incident. And because of the fact that I'm studying fashion for college, Adrien decided to take over his father's fashion company with me as his helper. Especially because of the fact that Gabriel made a will for Adrien to take over if in the event Gabriel retired or died, but Gabriel didn't even know that he should've added a clause that detailed Adrien would have to take over if in the event Gabriel would get sent to prison. Anyway, Felix and the rest of the Graham de Vanily family is still going strong, and Adrien has taken on the Graham de Vanily name because of the fact that even if the Agreste family was a name change and a bunch of secrets and lies, Gabriel brought shame and disgrace to his family, including both Adrien and Gabi's parents. I came here on this day for some closure, both on Felix's behalf and his mother's behalf, as well as on Adrien's behalf and on my own behalf since I didn't get to interact with you that much before your accident. But considering the fact that my good memories of you and my bad memories of you are warring in my head in the context of what I mean if you understand it, it seems I was just wasting my time."

Marinette creates out of her hand a piece of coal, and she throws it at the stone where the rock shatters into dust upon impact.

Marinette walks away as she remarks, "See you on Judgement Day."

Marinette walks out of the cemetery.

Taking out a peanut bar, Marinette starts eating it as she walks to the Graham de Vanily mansion.
