Authors note: Alright so I know it has been a while but I had huge writing block recently. The sad part was that I knew what I wanted to write about but I didn't know how to put that in words. But I finally did it. Haha I hope you will enjoy this chapter. Happy Reading.

But before she walked around the corner, she stopped, turned around, smiled and waved at Adam, disappearing around the corner.

Lumiere and Cogsworth came up to Adam and he put a hand on each of their shoulders. "Did you see that?" Adam said. "She's never looked at me that way in this form before."

"That's a good sign."

"I want to do something for her, but what?" Adam asked.

"Well there's the usual things… flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep…" Cogsworth started to say, and then Lumiere interrupted.

"Ahh, no no." Lumiere said. "It has to be something very special. Something that sparks her interest…. wait a minute. " Lumiere looked confused.

"That's some serious déjà vu," Cogsworth said and he and Lumiere talked about the past for a bit, while Adam was off in his own little world.

"I got it!" Adam said, making Lumiere and Cogsworth both jump.

"Got what, master?" Lumiere asked.

"The perfect gift for Belle. But it'll have to wait until dinner tonight."

Now:

Adam POV:

Prince Adam had his servants all over the castle getting the dinning room ready for dinner with Belle tonight.

But when it was almost time for dinner, the prince was nowhere to be found.

Lumiere and Cogsworth rushed around the castle looking for the missing prince.

But by the time they found him, it was already passed dinner time.

"You're majesty, where have you been?" Said a frantic Cogsworth "We've been looking everywhere for you."

"Belle is already in the dinning room…" Lumiere stopped. "What are you doing?"

"I have collected Belle's gift." Adam said. "I already gave her the library, but I knew that she would love Shakespheres classic books. I had a feeling we had his most classics from Romeo and Juliet, to Macbeth, and Hamlet, to name a few."

Both men didn't hear a word from him, they were too busy grabbing each side of Adam and quickly walking him to the dinning hall.

Before they entered, Adam stopped and turned to the guys. "How do I look?"

"Good." Both men said in unison, not mentioning Adams long auburn hair falling out of his ponytail. He looked like a mess, and Adam knew it but that wouldn't stop him from having a great night with Belle.

Still holding onto the books, Adam swung the dinning room doors open and suddenly stopped in his tracks, the books falling on the floor around his feet.

Two sets of eyes looked over at him from across the ballroom. Belle was not alone.

Adam quickly picked up the books and shoved them into Lumiere and Cogsworth's arms. The two men looking confused and giving a look that showed that they were wondering about the gift for Belle. But Adam quickly shut the door in their faces.

Still standing with his back to Belle, he had a feeling he was about to loose it. Then he heard footsteps slowly coming up behind him and a beautiful voice asking, "Adam, are you alright?"

Before he could answer, he shrugged his shoulders and let out a big sigh to compose himself, then turned and said "Yes, all is well Belle."

Belle suddenly grabbed his arm and started pulling him over the where she was standing… with him.

He was stunned at Belle's appearance, she was wearing that gorgeous pink dress and her hair was up in her normal ponytail but with a pink bow instead of blue. She was a true beauty.

They finally reach the other guest, and he bowed in Adams presence.

"I hope you don't mind that I invited Davor to dinner," Belle said. Adam knew she noticed the shocked look on his face when he realized that Davor was joining them. Hesitant Belle spoke again, "Well I mean if you were just hoping it be the two of us then I understand…"

"No," Adam interrupted making Belle jump. "That's alright. He can stay." It really wasn't all right but Adam really didn't want to upset Belle.

Adam turned and called to Mrs. Potts who was starting to bring the food out. "Mrs. Potts, another place setting please for this young lad."

"Yes, your highness." She said. Mrs. Potts looked at Adam and shook her head as she went to get another place setting.

"Shall we eat then?" He said to the two. But before they could answer, he started to guide Belle over to the table.

Adam couldn't help but laugh inside at the unpleasant look Davor had on his face. Adam was winning and he knew Davor didn't like it.

Adam sat quietly during dinner that night. He was getting tired of hearing Belle and Davor reminiscing over childhood experiences. He had never heard Belle laugh the way she did tonight with Davor. And Adam knew Davor had won this time. He was afraid of this the entire time; he dares to say it though.

But he knew it made Belle happy that Davor was there that night. She needed someone like Davor at this moment in time. Davor knew Belle's mother and that was the one thing Adam could never share with Belle.

'As long as she is happy, I'm happy,' Adam thought to himself.

After a little while, Adam decided it was time for him to retire for the night. He said his goodnights and quietly walked out. He could hear Belle call his name as he quickly shut the doors to the dinning hall. Did she know something was up?

He quickly walked to his study, so Belle wouldn't follow him. He had forbid Belle to come to his study, so there was no way she could come in. When he opened the west wing doors he saw Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth waiting for him. They all wanted to know what was going on.

Before he dared to speak, he heard Belle yelling. It sounded like it was coming from outside. He walked to the window and he couldn't believe his eyes.

He saw Belle yelling at Davor.

Belle POV:

"Adam." Belle yelled as Adam quickly shut the doors to the dinning hall.

She got up and ran to the doors but ended up slamming her fits to the door and sank to the ground in a frustrated manor instead of running after him.

"Belle?" Davor asked confused.

She turned and looked at her childhood friend with tears in her eyes. "You and me, outside now." Belle said in a stern voice. She was holding back tears.

Once outside on the balcony, Davor asked, "Belle, what's wrong?"

She let out all her feelings and frustrations.

"How could I have been so stupid." She said "This was a night suppose to be for Adam and I and I ruined it by…."

She stopped. Looking at Davor, "by inviting you." She said pointing to Davor. "Now the prince probably hates me." She was frantic. The prince was trying to be nice to her and how does she repay him?

She had to see Adam. She knew she must do something, something to cheer the prince up. The way he walked out, he must be mad about something and it's because of me.

"I have to go talk to Adam and apologize. It's all my fault." She said.

But before she could rush back inside, Davor stopped her. He said, "you don't have to apologies for anything."

"Davor, don't you see, I have too."

What came next surprised Belle.

The next thing she knew, Davor was kissing her. But instead of kissing back, she did what her instincts told her to do.

Belle broke away from Davor's arms and slapped him across the face. She rushed inside leaning Davor standing outside, alone.

This Chapter was a bit longer than the other chapters. I really hope you all enjoyed what you read. What do you think will happen next? What are your thoughts on the kiss that Davor spontaneously planted on Belle? Let me know in the reviews. Until next time, my fellow readers.
