Chapter 7
Again I do not own any of the characters and am merely writing this for fun…hope you guys like it!
As Donna mentally prepared herself for what she was about to do, she saw Harvey storm up to her.
"Donna, what the hell?! Where were you?"
"Harvey I'm fine."
"Donna I will have him out and behind the bars in no time."
"I know you would, but I am honestly fine."
"If you want, you could take time off."
"And what Harvey? Run away from him? No thank you. In fact, I think I might just have a word with him."
"Donna! What is wrong with you? You want to TALK to him? Donna he is not in his right mind thinking he could just come here again. Donna do not fall for him again."
"Harvey, it's my life and I know what I am doing. You need to stay away from this. I am not one of your cases."
"You're not and you know that, but he his. You being around him will not solve anything, but complicate things further."
"Calm down Harvey. I am not getting back with him I just need to talk to him. Now if you could please excuse me."
"Donna—"
It was useless, Harvey felt so frustrated as Donna walked away. What the hell was she doing? She is just going to hurt herself again. And he wont let that happen, Stephen may have hurt Donna once, but he will see to it himself that it does not happen again.
Meanwhile…
As Donna saw him sitting in office, her fear and anger rose. How dare he come back?! And he better not get near her… or her baby.
"Why are you back?"
"Donna! What a pleasant surprise. I thought I was going to go look for you soon."
"Cut the crap. Why are you here? If you are free then why return to Pearson Spector?"
"For you."
"Stephen, don't even go there."
"Donna if one thing is true then it's my feelings for you."
"So you could use me again? You are nothing but a cold-blooded murder. And I want you away from here and away from me. If you claim you love me, then prove it. "
"I can't do that Donna"
"Of course you can't. That's just like you. You can't think of anything but yourself, if you cared form me then you would have never even came here in the first place, but you did. "
"Think what you may Donna, but I am here and I am here to stay."
"Harvey wont let that happen"
"O well, of course here we are with Harvey again. You never really got over him, did you Donna? Harvey calls and Donna is there in a minute. In fact I was oddly surprised that you quit his job to work with Louis…"
"My decisions are none of your business. You need to watch out Stephen because you may be enjoying your little visit in the real world, but Harvey will get you back into prison and this time it would be permanent."
"O, but he can't. Harvey can't do anything Donna. As you may find out in a bit, Harvey's only witness that put me behind the bars…is dead Donna."
"What?"
"You heard me Donna. He is dead and his statement was the main evidence, but that is gone now."
"But they still have his statement recorded and numerous witnesses"
"Of course they do, but with a little help from several friends... it has come to the attention that all that might have been to cover his own tracts seeing that he is the murderer of all those victims."
"You cannot do that"
"I did not Donna...remember I am merely the victim of someone else's crimes. I am innocent and will soon officially be a free man."
"You make me sick"
As Donna turned around about to walk out the door she felt her head spin as she absorbed in everything she just heard. It couldnt be. As her hand held the door handle, Donna heard Stephen last words.
"O Donna, I'll also have you know that I am not going anywhere...Im here to stay."
