Here we go! The very last Chapter of The Platypus, the Scientist, and his Robot, thus ending the world of Perry the Hooded Figure. Enjoy!:
Chapter 14 (Epilogue)
Previously, on The Platypus, the Scientist, and his Robot:
Perry ran forward.
Dr. D noticed this and aimed the memory wipe inator at Agent P. "Stop" commanded Heinz.
Perry saw no other option, but he had a plan in mind. He took off his fedora as a sign of surrender, but hid two items behind his back.
Heinz did not see this. "You know, I really have to thank you, Perry the Platypus. If it wasn't for all those times that I lost to you, I wouldn't be here and I certainly wouldn't be what I just became. So I want to offer you a choice to join me as my second hand man…er platypus. Join me, and we can rule … together!"
Story:
Yeah, no, thought Perry.
Both of the items that Agent P had behind his back were hand held mirrors. The only difference between the two of them was that one had some folded tape on the back, the other didn't.
Perry jumped forward and threw the mirror with the tape on the back towards Doofenshmirtz.
Heinz ducked and the mirror stuck to the wall behind him in a way that Perry could see the back of Dr. D's head.
Doofenshmirtz stood up. "Ha! You missed!" he taunted. "But I guess that it's quite obvious what your answer is in regards to my offer. Fine. I don't wanna do this Perry that Platypus, but I have no other choice." Dr. D fired the memory wipe inator.
Perry put the other mirror he was holding in front of his chest. Just as he predicted, the beam of light from the memory wipe inator bounced off the mirror he was holding and headed to the other one that was taped to City Hall.
But what happened next was something Perry could have never predicted. When the purple beam of light hit the mirror attached to City hall, it split into seven separate beams. Each headed in a different direction.
Miraculously, the six beams hit Doofenshmirtz, Phineas, Baljeet, Isabella, Candace, Irving, and Ferb.
All seven victims collapsed after getting hit.
Agent P went over to his fedora and put it back on. As he did so, Major Monogram and Carl got out of a sleek black car that was parked nearby and headed towards Perry.
"Agent P, I just wanted to congratulate you on how you handled the worst crisis the Tri-State Area has ever faced," said Major Monogram as he approached. "Once again, you have defeated Doofenshmirtz and good has prevailed."
"Wait, wasn't the situation with the second dimension Doofenshmirtz have been a bigger challenge?" asked Carl.
Major Monogram sighed. "Fine, this was the second worst crisis in the history of the Tri-State Area." He turned to Carl. "I need you to restore all of the memories the kids lost except for the ones concerning today's events. And I guess the same should go to Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Rodrigo. The mayor can get a full restoration, though."
Carl snapped into a salute. "Yes sir!" He began to drag the limp bodies of those who had their memories wiped.
Major Monogram turned to Perry. "You've gone above and beyond the call of duty today, Agent P. What you were able to pull off shows extreme skill and dedication. The OWCA owes you a debt of gratitude. You are done for the day and are permitted to return back to your place of living."
Agent P snapped his arm into a salute and began to walk home.
Three days later, Perry lay on the ground in between Phineas and Ferb. All three were under the tree in the backyard and the boys were talking to Baljeet.
"It's just so weird that I can't remember anything from the other day," Phineas was saying. "The giant hole in my memory is taunting me, as if to say that I wasted a precious day of summer."
But you didn't, thought Perry. You and your powers were a huge help in taking down Doofenshmirtz. Powers that Carl had to disable, though.
"I also had the craziest dream that Danville was under siege and Perry was a secret Agent helping us defeat an evil pharmacist," said Baljeet.
Phineas laughed. "You have a wild imagination, but do remember that Perry's a platypus. They don't do much."
"There's no way he's a secret agent," agreed Ferb.
I could freak you out so badly right now, thought Perry with a silent smirk.
At that moment, the gate to the backyard opened and Isabella entered. "Whatcha doin'?"
Phineas stood up. "Nothing at the moment."
Perry had to suppress a laugh. Ever since their memories had been restored, Phineas and Isabella had been acting weird around each other. It was as if they knew that there was something more between the two of them, but couldn't figure out what.
Suddenly, Perry's OMEGA Co-Axial Chronometer watch vibrated. He snuck around the corner of the house, stood up, and put on his fedora.
As he opened the secret entrance to his underground lair, Perry heard Phineas say the familiar catchphrase.
"Hey, where's Perry?"
Right here, Phineas, thought Perry. Right here. He entered the secret tunnel down into his secret lair.
