"Mama, can you stop smiling now?"

Yae Miko only glanced at him briefly, before widening her smile.

"I can't, Mom is very happy"

Naruto sighed.

"Is mom like this every day before going to work?"

"No, but today Ai-chan accompanies mom. Of course mom is very happy" Yae Miko answered without looking at Naruto, her eyes were still focused on the road.

Naruto glanced out the window of his mother's car.

"Because I know what Mama did strange again today, my feeling is bad" Naruto muttered softly almost like an ant whisper.

"You said something honey?"

Naruto panicked a bit.

"ah I said, mom looks beautiful today" Naruto said awkwardly, hoping Miko would believe him.

"kyaaa! if Ai-chan says that, mom will be even more excited to go to work"

I was so happy, Yae Miko accidentally pressed the gas in her car, causing the car they were traveling in to move at fast speed.

"woaahh mama, slow down your car! we could die!" Naruto was hysterical himself seeing his mother's behavior.

"Relax dear, this mother is a former racer, if this is not anything"

Instead of stopping, Miko stepped on the gas even more

"Mama!"

"uhuuuu!"

"just put me down now!"

Naruto looks tired, being invited to an impromptu race by his mother. He almost vomited. His stomach felt like it was churning from within.

His mother is really good at drifting, the proof is that she looks happy and enjoying it.

Naruto rubbed his mouth which was drooling a little.

"I don't want to go home later in the car with mom, I'll just take the bus"

Naruto's words were like bad news for Miko.

"Honey, honey~ Don't be like that, I'm sorry" Miko smiled seductively, she hoped Naruto didn't really mean it.

Naruto pretended not to see her and walked off first.

"Wait Ai-chan~"

If any of Miko's underlings heard their beautiful boss whining, they would probably demolish the building and build it again.

But Miko didn't care, she didn't want her son to refuse to go home with her.

"Bocchan, how come you're here"

Naruto met one of his mother's underlings, Kuki Shinobu. They were quite close because Shinonu usually came home and accompanied him to play and sometimes was here when he was little.

"Shi-nee, long time no see" Naruto's face brightened again seeing Shinobu, "how come you never play at home anymore?"

Naruto's question made Shinobu awkward, confused about how to answer it.

To be honest, the reason why Shinobu never accompanied Naruto to play anymore was because Yae Miko, as her boss, always ordered her to do other jobs if she wanted to accompany Naruto.

The reason... her boss was jealous and annoyed when Naruto ignored her when he was having fun playing with Shinobu.

Shinobu winced lightly at her boss' possessiveness towards her son.

"Just busy right now" Shinobu replied modestly, she still wanted to work.

"Right, Shi-nee can-"

"mou~ mean, Ai-chan~ leaving mama alone" Yae Miko hugged Naruto from behind and whined spoiledly.

If Shinobu wasn't used to her boss' attitude, she might have fainted

Yae Miko is known for being firm, always speaking bluntly even though it sounds sharp, a bit cynical and maybe looks a little scary from her subordinates.

And seeing and hearing her whine spoiled like that, it's really very surprising.

Naruto sighed softly "mama, here is Shi-nee, you are not ashamed"

Yae Miko glanced ahead and realized that someone else was looking at her. she immediately fixed herself as usual, she embraced Naruto.

"I mean, why are you here?" Yae Miko gave her a deadpan look, trying to look dignified as usual.

Naruto rolled his eyes lazily before he had the glimmer of an idea to avenge his mother.

"mama..." Naruto looked like he was trying to smile as sweetly and convincingly as possible, "I want to come here on purpose to meet you, Shi-nee"

A small sting struck Yae Miko's heart but now she still managed to cover it up.

"ha ha ha, Ai-chan~ you said you wanted to accompany mama, you lied"

Shinobu held back her laughter as she saw Miko tremble slightly.

Naruto didn't stop there.

"If I tell you later that you're not allowed to come here, I'll miss Shi-nee" Naruto still put on his (fake) sweet smile

Now that the sting was getting bigger, Miko tried to brace herself and still tried to look unaffected.

"Ai-chan, mom doesn't like you lying. Who do you love more, mom or her?" Miko's lips twitched in annoyance, but she still managed to hold it in.

Naruto pretended to glance at Shinobu for a moment before looking at Miko with a sweet smile.

"of course, mommy"

Miko breathed a sigh of relief.

"-then Shi-nee"

Miko glared.

"I like Shi-nee"

Pricker!

An arrow seemed to pierce Yae's chest.

"When I grow up, I'll just marry Shi-nee, mama"

Pricker! Pricker!

"boss!"

Shinobu couldn't help but feel worried, seeing Miko slumped on the floor, her soul seemed to disappear after hearing Naruto's statement.

"boss?"

Miko stared at Shinobu blankly. this was scarier than the usual Yae Miko. it seemed Miko's hatred had gone up a notch from usual

"Shinobu, tomorrow I will transfer you to Okinawa" Miko said in an empty tone.

"damn, it's really far boss, not all at the north pole"

"Mama, I'll join Shi-nee okay?"

Naruto looked at Miko with sparkling eyes.

"Shinobu, I fire you"

"Mama, I'm going to live with Shi-nee okay?'

"Shinobu, tomorrow you move house"

Shinobu only sweated down seeing Naruto urging his mother and Miko who were looking for ways to get rid of her son's obsessive nature.

After the mother and son drama ended, Naruto busied himself in the library belonging to the Yae Publishing House.

Miko, who initially wanted to spend time alone with him, suddenly had a meeting with her subordinates. Naruto didn't know what was wrong. he doesn't want to bother either.

Miko actually wanted to take him with her but Naruto refused, surely he would be bored inside, different from his mother who was excited to accompany him.

Naruto tried hard to persuade his mother to be allowed to just wait in the library. Miko melts, because her son offers something tempting.

Naruto closed his book after reading it, he glanced at his watch, it was past one and half hour he was waiting for Miko.

"Hmmm, I think it's still a long time mom" he muttered softly then he stood up and put the book back on the shelf.

Naruto still has an interest in reading other types of books. he will look for something that interests him again.

"Hey you"

Naruto discouraged after hearing someone rebuke him. he turned and saw a man with hands on his hips.

"me, sir?" Naruto confirmed it first.

"Yes you, come here" the boy called Naruto to come closer to him.

After getting close, Naruto could see the man's name from the id card attached to his neck, Genta.

"What's wrong, sir?" Naruto made sure that he didn't have any problems with her.

"You shouldn't be here" Genta looked at Naruto from head to toe. "Children shouldn't come in here, let alone not part of the company"

Naruto scratched his cheek, it's true he wasn't part of his mother's company but he was allowed in by the one who did.

"Why can't sir? I just want to read a book." Naruto pointed at the books that were lined up neatly.

"You are really annoying, you know, this is a big company, not just anyone can enter here" Genta was annoyed by the behavior of the boy in front of him.

"But I'm allowed"

"Who gave you permission?" Genta is annoyed.

"librarians in front earlier" Naruto chuckled, "besides, my mom also works here too sir, hehe"

Genta's eyebrows twitched in annoyance, he held back his frustration. how could someone put a small child in the library of this big company.

Genta felt that it should not be done by just anyone.

Genta chuckled softly, "Okay, you understand, right, get out there" Genta shooed Naruto away.

Genta snorted in annoyance, "You are really stubborn, don't you think this library belongs to your mother?!"

"Here you are" Genta pulled Naruto's hand out of the library. then, he scolded him to act polite next time.

"You, if you are forbidden to listen to older people, you can't do that," Genta gave advice.

"Eh..." The two librarians were surprised to see Genta dragging and scolding Naruto.

"Genta-san, wait, he..."

"Please, don't get involved. You guys should also obey the rules. How can you let random people into the library?" Genta cut them off and dictated the rules.

The two guards looked at each other and their faces were deathly pale.

"Well, Genta-san but he was already allowed in by–"

"You guys should be aware, only certain people can enter this library, if it's for the public it's in front" Genta scold the second guard.

The two guards were silent, they weren't afraid of Genta but...

"What's all this fuss?"

The two guards got goosebumps at the familiar voice in his ears. yaps, she is the owner of this company, Yae Miko.

Naruto was about to speak but was interrupted first by Genta.

"good afternoon boss" Genta greeted in a friendly and polite manner, he glanced at Naruto who just stared at Miko in silence.

"Oi boy, where are your manners to your mother's boss, say hello. Your parents didn't teach you manners, did they?" Genta scolded Naruto without seeing the shocked faces of the people around him for hitting Naruto's head.

Especially Miko, an aura of anger appeared around her. Shinobu, Miko's assistant and the two librarians broke out in cold sweat.

Genta tapped Naruto on the shoulder and tried to give him an intimidating look.

Naruto sweated down seeing Genta's expression.

"o-ok"

Naruto looked at Miko, "good afternoon, mom" greeted Naruto.

Genta smiled contentedly, he could obey Naruto this time.

"So that's it kid, she's a mama–eh?" Genta opened his eyes and stared at Naruto, cold sweat pouring down his face, "ma-mama?"

Naruto rubbed his head "she's my mama, sir"

Genta feels his life is in danger. he stared at Miko who had a faint smile that didn't reach her eyes, her eyes gleaming with anger. Genta's face filled with cold sweat.

Miko let her angry aura spread around her, while she tried to hide her facial expression.

"Genta-san, I want ten thousand apology letters on my desk tomorrow" Miko said coldly.

Genta's soul has disappeared from his body.

"FORGIVE ME!"

Well, Genta learned a lot of things today, for example not to conclude something that is uncertain, not to scold random people's children and to find out the truth first.

But for sure, today is a very bitter memory for Genta. especially, having to deal with a certain possessive mother.
