Darth Indominus could feel his energy rapidly depleting as he continued to charge the deadly Chaos bomb from the air. Bewildered, he couldn't understand what was happening. This couldn't be happening.
He looked down at the ground and saw a figure of a woman looking up at him with a deep frown. He couldn't make her out, but he felt drawn to her.
Concentrating, Darth Indominus zoomed in with his sight, and his heart stopped entirely for a moment. Before him was the ghost of his former love, Jedi Master Fay.
He couldn't believe his eyes. He had thought Fay was dead, lost to him forever. He saw her die with his own two eyes. But here she was, appearing to him in his darkest hour.
"Fay..." he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.
The ghostly figure of Fay looked up at him with a mix of sadness and anger. "What have you done, Alex?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Darth Indominus hung his head in shame. He knew he had done terrible things, things that he could never take back. But he had done them for a purpose, to gain power and to bring order to the galaxy.
"I had to do what was necessary," he said, his voice barely audible.
Fay shook her head. "No, Alex. You have lost your way. You have become a monster, a blight on the galaxy. You must turn away from this path before it's too late."
Darth Indominus looked at her, his eyes filled with tears. He knew that she was right, but he knew it was too late. He had gone too far down the dark path, and there was no going back.
Fay, I'm sorry," he whispered. "I'm sorry for everything."
But Fay just shook her head. "It's too late for apologies, Alex. You must face the consequences of your actions."
With those words, Fay vanished into the ether.
He be began to cry out. "Fay-no, don't leave me again, please, please!"
Wolfaunse watched from the ground as Indominus cried out for this Fay. Hasn't Fay been dead for years now he thought? Why was she here of places?
Disregarding the question of Fay, knew that he had to act. With Indominus distracted by his grief, the protective barrier around him had finally fallen, and Wolfaunse saw an opportunity to strike.
Formulating a plan in his mind, Wolfaunse ignited his lightsaber and took to the air. He flew behind Indominus, weaving his way through the debris and chaos that surrounded him.
As he approached, he could see the glow of the Chaos Bomb growing brighter and brighter, threatening to rip apart the very fabric of reality.
Without hesitation, Wolfaunse aimed his lightsaber at Indominus's lower spinal cord and swung with all his might. The blade sliced through the air, striking its target with a satisfying sizzle.
Indominus let out a cry of pain as his ability to fly was disabled, causing him to plummet to the ground below.
As he fell, the Chaos Bomb dissipated, the souls that had been trapped within it released back into the universe.
Wolfaunse watched as Indominus crashed to the ground, his body writhing in agony and now crippled.
Indominus lay on the ground, he was writhing in agony. He couldn't feel his legs, and he knew that his body was deteriorating rapidly.
He tried to focus on his breathing, but the pain was overwhelming. It was as if every cell in his body was screaming out in agony.
In the back of his mind, he could hear the dark, cold voice of the entity. It spoke to him saying. "You are beaten, and are going to die. This entire partnership while it was exhilarating, must now come to a end."
The voice continued to speak. "I'm going to end the fusion Alex and myself. You will cease to be but memory."
The bright light surrounding Indominus's body lasted for only a few moments before it dissipated, leaving behind a mortally wounded and crippled Alex O'Donnell.
Wolfaunse watched as the transformation occurred, a look of satisfaction on his face.
"It's finally over," he said, chuckling to himself. He formed his hand into the shape of a pistol and began charging up a Super Thunder Gun.
"I'm going to deliver justice on behalf of the multiverse," he declared.
He continued to charge up the attack, his eyes fixed on Alex O'Donnell's helpless form. "No Saiyan would want to live their life as a cripple, anyway," he said, his voice devoid of emotion.
As Alex O'Donnell lifted his head as far as it would go, he saw the force ghost of Fay walking towards him. She moved closer and knelt down beside him, clasping her hands around his.
"Everything will be okay," she said softly, her voice filled with compassion and understanding. She reached out and smoothed back his hair, her touch gentle and comforting.
Using her force powers, Fay put Alex O'Donnell into a deep sleep trance, allowing him to rest and heal from his injuries. As she watched over him, she knew that his journey to redemption would be a difficult one, but she had faith that he would one day find peace and forgiveness.
As the teleportation sequence began, Vomi watched anxiously as the countdown reached its final moments.
As the final seconds ticked away, the computer beeped, signaling the end of the countdown. And then, the words she had been waiting to see appeared on the screen: "Teleportation sequence ready to initiate."
Vomi took a deep breath, steadying herself. She knew what she had to do, but it wasn't going to be easy. She had to teleport Alex O'Donnell out of harm's way at exactly the right moment, without raising any suspicion.
She glanced at the monitor, watching as the wounded Alex lay asleep on the ground. He was completely unaware of the danger that was about to come his way.
Vomi knew she couldn't teleport him immediately. If she did, it would be too obvious, and she couldn't risk Wolfaunse figuring out what she was doing.
She had to wait for just the right moment, the split second when Wolfaunse's thunder gun technique was about to hit Alex.
But there was one more step had to take. She had to make sure that when Wolfaunse reported back to his bosses at the Galactic Republic that Darth Indominus was dead that everyone was in agreement with his report.
Vomi eyed the glowing vial on the surgical tray. The contents of the vial were critical to the success of her plan. Walking over to the tray She checked the label on the vial, making sure that it contained the right combination of chemicals.
She had spent weeks in the lab, perfecting the formula to ensure that no force sensitive Jedi, Sith, or ki user could sense Alex O'Donnell after the life-saving surgery she was about to perform.
She carefully inspected the syringe, her gloved hand gripping it tightly. Moving it around it in her glove, her eyes scanned every inch of it making certain there were no flaws with it. There were none that were discernible.
Satisfied that everything was in order, she inserted the needle into the vial and carefully drew out the contents. The liquid was a bright blue color, shimmering through the barrel of the syringe in the light of the lab.
With the contents drawn into the syringe. She carefully capped the needle and placed it back onto the sterile surgical tray.
Walking over to chemical hazard disposal unit, Vomi gently placed the emptied vial into the designated slot, watching as it disintegrated into a cloud of harmless particles.
Vomi had finally made her way back to the monitor, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a deep breath and patted her cheeks, trying to calm herself down. "You can do this," she said to herself. "You're capable of saving Alex O'Donnell."
But as she looked at the monitor, her confidence wavered. The what-ifs began to flood her mind, making her doubt herself.
"What if I'm too late pressing the button and the blast kills him?" she muttered under her breath. "What if it grazes him as he's teleporting and he becomes even more wounded?"
Come on, Vomi, you got this," she scolded herself, her voice tinged with frustration. "Stop thinking of the what ifs and focus on the task at hand."
She took a deep breath and tried to clear her mind, but the doubts persisted. She couldn't help but wonder if she was up to the task of saving Alex O'Donnell's life.
What if something went wrong? What if she made a mistake?
As if sensing her inner turmoil, TX-01 walked up to her from the corner of room. "You are Dr. Vomi, a genetically created Android by Dr. Gero's Super Computer with the DNA from the most powerful races in Universe 7," his robotic voice said in a matter-of-fact tone.
Vomi looked up, surprised to see TX-01 speaking to her. "Yes, I know that," she replied, a hint of annoyance in her voice. "But that doesn't mean I'm infallible. I still make mistakes."
TX responded with a robotic chuckle. "Of course you do. But don't forget, Vomi, you also have the knowledge from the best scientific minds from both Earth and the select few from the multiverse. You are more than capable of handling any challenge that comes your way."
Vomi smiled despite herself, feeling her confidence start to rise. "You're right," she said, her voice more assured. "I am Dr. Vomi, and I am more than capable of saving Alex's life."
Vomi faced TX-01, a grateful smile on her face. "Thank you, TX," she said, her voice sincere. "You always know how to boost my confidence when I need it the most."
TX-01 responded with a simple beep, but Vomi could tell that he was pleased to have been of assistance.
With her confidence restored, Vomi turned back to her work. She clicked a button on the keyboard, switching the monitor to Wolfaunse's view.
She watched intently as the elder saiyan charged up his super thunder gun on his index finger, the violent force and ki-powered yellow orb crackling with electricity.
As she watched, the orb grew larger and more volatile. Vomi knew that the moment was fast approaching, and she steeled herself for what was to come.
"It's show time," she said, her voice calm and steady.
Wolfaunse stood in his stance, his muscles rippling with power from Super Saiyan 3 as he charged up his Super Thunder Gun. His hands were clasped together, his fingers formed into a gun pose as he concentrated all of his energy into the technique
He started laughing, a deep rumbling sound that echoed through the air. "I haven't needed to use this kind of power in years," he said, his voice full of pride and confidence.
His eyes were fixed on his wounded grandson, the former emperor of the Sith Empire. Despite the gravity of the situation, Wolfaunse couldn't help but feel a twinge of remorse at what he was about to do.
This was his own flesh and blood, but that feeling quickly evaporated when he remembered what his grandson really is.
"He is Sith, a murder," he muttered to himself. "He tried to conquer everything in he saw. Well, nearly everything."
Wolfaunse remembered his grandson had never given order to his fleets to invade and conquer the sector space that he himself controlled, the former domain of the Hutts.
He laughed bitterly, his eyes darkening as he thought back to his past. "I'm a hypocrite," he muttered to himself, shaking his head in disgust.
He had wiped out the entire Hutt species, down to the last slug, and had conquered all of the planets they owned. And yet, he had once worked for the Hutt Cartel, doing their dirty work and carrying out their twisted schemes.
It was a stain on his honor that he could never fully wash away.
But even as he acknowledged his own hypocrisy, Wolfaunse tried to justify his actions to himself. "I did what I had to do," he said, his voice tinged with anger.
"The Hutts were slavers and oppressors, and they deserved to be taken down. I brought true freedom to the planets I conquered, without the use of force or coercion."
Wolfaunse snapped out of his thoughts, his eyes narrowing with determination. He had a job to do, and he was going to do it. Even if the target was his own grandson.
He raised his hands, continuing to clasp his index fingers together as he focused his energy into the Super Thunder Gun. The massive energy wave crackled and surged with power.
Vomi watched from her monitor, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that this was the critical moment, the point at which she would have to teleport Alex O'Donnell away from the scene at the right moment, but would still be convincing enough to make Wolfaunse believe he had killed his target.
Wolfaunse gritted his teeth, preparing to say the words they would allow the technique to fire off.
"SUPER THUNDER GUN FIRE!!!" His voice boomed through the entire planet.
The technique sounded off with deafening, thundering roar, sending shockwaves rippling through jungle as the energy wave swiftly made its way to the helpless and wounded Alex O'Donnell.
Vomi watched in horror as her monitor flickered and went dark, the feed cut off by the massive surge of energy.
Her fingers furiously tapped on the keyboard as she frantically tried to re-establish the connection to the monitor. "Come on, come on," she muttered under her breath.
She could feel the sweat beginning to bead on her forehead as she continued to try and get the feed back online. Suddenly, she heard the sounds of the Super Thunder Gun on the speakers and her panic increased. "No, no, no," she said, her voice trembling.
She looked down at the keyboard, realizing that the teleport key is still functioning. With a deep breath, she tried to calm herself down.
"Okay, let's think this through," Vomi said to herself. "I have powers, I can use them." She closed her eyes and began to focus on Alex O'Donnell, using her telepathic abilities to locate him.
She saw him, lying unconscious and wounded on the ground. She then focused on the energy blast coming from Wolfaunse and calculated the exact moment to teleport Alex O'Donnell to safety.
Vomi opened her eyes and took one last deep breath before pressing the button to initiate the teleportation sequence.
A blinding white light started to envelop Alex O'Donnell's unconscious body. The light grew brighter and brighter until it's was impossible to see anything but it's intense glow.
Suddenly, the light began to speed up with his body was slightly lifted off the ground.
The air crackled with energy as the Super Thunder Gun, charged with ki, the force, and sheer raw power, blazed through the ground towards Alex O'Donnell, who was helplessly it's target.
The white light of the teleportation sequence engulfed Alex's body. The Super Thunder Gun missed him by mere inches before he teleported.
The light surrounding him acted as shield and caused the energy wave to detonate.
Wolfaunse stood atop a pillar of ground overlooking the ruined planet Dromund Kass, his fingers still smelling of smoke. The explosion had been massive, enough to rock the entire planet and leave nothing but devastation in its wake.
As he scanned the destruction, he felt a pang of grief in his chest. He had fired his Super Thunder Gun at his unconscious and wounded grandson, and now there was nothing left of him but a giant crater with no bottom to be seen.
Wolfaunse couldn't help but wonder if it had all been worth it.
But then, he again reminded himself the reason why he had done it. The Sith Empire had been a blight on the galaxy for too long, and they had to be stopped.
He had done what he had to do, even if it meant killing his last living kin.
Wolfaunse let out a deep breath and turned to leave, his mind already on the journey home to Nar Shadda.
He pulled out his holo communicator and signaled for Fleet Admiral Numinn, the head of the Republic Navy orbiting the planet with Republic Navy.
"Admiral Numinn, this is Commander Wolfaunse," Wolfaunse said as the hologram of the Admiral appeared before him. "I've completed my mission. The God Emperor is dead."
Numinn's face lit up with a smile. "Excellent work, Commander. We saw the large explosion from space and assumed it was the killing blow. Well done."
Wolfaunse nodded, a small sense of pride swelling within him. "Thank you, Admiral. Now, if you could send a shuttle down to get me off this lifeless planet, I would greatly appreciate it."
Numinn frowned. "What about the rest of the invading task force? Are any of them still alive?"
Wolfaunse shook his head. "They're all dead. Indominus stripped them of their souls as he was charging his Chaos Bomb. There's no one left."
Numinn sighed, his expression somber. "May they find peace in the Force. But regardless, Chancellor Saresh wants to see you on Coruscant as soon as possible to give you the agreed payment for killing Emperor Indominus."
Wolfaunse's eyes widened with fake surprise . "Oh really?"
Numinn nodded. "Yes, Commander. You've done a great service for the Republic, and the Chancellor wishes to compensate you accordingly."
Wolfaunse grinned. "Well, that's good news. Can you give me the coordinates for where the shuttle will land?"
Numinn nodded and transmitted the coordinates to Wolfaunse's holo communicator. "Good luck, Commander. And thank you for your service."
Wolfaunse smiled and ended the communication, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. This day might end up being good after all. He took to the air, flying off into the distance, ready to collect his payment and bask in his glory.
