I Do

"[Y/N], you look incredible," April smiles at you through the mirror. You stand in front of a full length mirror while April touches up your outfit. Today was your wedding day, so obviously you have your wedding dress on. It's a strapless, mermaid dress, as the woman in the store called it, and it wraps around your curves nicely. You did your own make-up so you could make sure that you didn't have too much. You knew how Leo, the turtle you were marrying, didn't like too much make-up on you. April did your hair, curly and half-up half-down. The final touch? You put on your necklace Leo made you. You turn and study yourself to make sure everything is perfect about you. Your smile widens as you see how beautiful you look. You finally turn to April and give her a hug.

"Thank you so much," You say.

"My pleasure. Now, I'm going to check and see how much longer you have until you become Leo's wife!" She squeals before turning around and heading out of the room. You smile and sigh dreamily. Leo's wife. You walk over to the window and look down at the barn. Just like Casey and April's wedding, you and Leo planned your wedding at the farmhouse. Leo, Donny, Raph, Mikey, Master Splinter, and Casey were at the entrance of the barn welcoming people. You watch Leo as he shakes hands with the members of the Ninja Tribunal. He pulls a bit on his tuxedo collar and nods as he welcomes them, but he seems distracted. He looks so nervous and it makes you giggle. Raph pulls him aside and starts giving him a pep talk. Leo nods along and suddenly looks up at the window where you are. You jump to the side so that he doesn't see you. The groom can't see the bride before the wedding after all! A small knock on your bedroom door interrupts you though.

"Who is it?" You ask.

"It's Mia," A small voice replies. You smile and run to the door. Opening it widely, you admire the look on your friend's face. Mia was one of your closest human friends. One night, the guys decided to stop by your apartment but they were unaware to the fact that you had invited Mia over for a movie night. To make a long story short, she and the guys are now close friends and she even seems to have a little thing for your future husband's purple clad brother. Mia's dark green eyes widen from behind her glasses. She was wearing a light blue dress just like April and Angel, your other two bridesmaids. Her light brown hair up nicely on the top of her head. Her smile grows as she squeals and hugs you.

"You look great Mia!" You laugh.

"Me? [Y/N], you look unbelievably incredible! Oh my goodness, Leo is going to faint!" She squeals.

"Thanks," You smile. She grabs your hands gently. You didn't even realize it, but your hands were shaking the entire time.

"Are you nervous?"

"No."

"[Y/N]?"

You sigh. "Yes. I guess it's not necessarily nervousness, it's just excitement," She nods with a grin on her face. "I've been planning my wedding my entire life. Obviously not a lot of that became a reality because I didn't plan on marrying someone who can't go out in public like I can, but still. I've dreamed about this day since I was old enough to know what a wedding is. I want everything to be perfect."

"Everything will be perfect because you love Leo," Mia tells you. You smile.

"Yeah, you're right. Today is going to be amazing."

"And in a few hours you'll be Mrs. Leonardo Hamato!" She squeals. In your head, you think back to the day Leo asked you to marry him…

You slip into your nice dress before going back to curling your hair. Tonight you were going out with Leo for your one year anniversary. You can't believe it has already been a year though. It seems like just yesterday you were making a fool of yourself in front of him in your lame attempts to flirt. Now, one year later, you're about to head to the lair for a romantic evening with Leo.

You put in your earrings, your necklace Leo gave you for your birthday, and finish the touch ups on your make-up. After a quick once over to make sure you looked perfect, you grabbed your purse and Shell Cell before heading out to your apartment. The entire way to the lair you were giggling like a little girl. Tonight is going to be amazing! You make your way into the lair and suddenly realize it was very silent in the room.

"Hello?" You call out. No answer. You walk towards the kitchen to see if you find anyone in there. No one. After setting your purse on the table, you put your hands on your hips. "Where is everyone?"

"[Y/N]?" A familiar voice calls. You turn around to see Leo heading towards you. He smiles at you and brings you in for a kiss. "Sorry, I was in the bathroom getting ready."

"Getting ready? Leo, you look the same."

He laughs. "Okay. I admit. My 'getting ready' includes brushing my teeth and putting on cologne. That's it."

"Lucky," You join in laughing with him. "Where is everyone?"

"Master Splinter and my brothers went over to April's tonight so that we could have the place all to ourselves," He smiles and pulls you closer to him by the waist. You smirk.

"Not so fast Romeo. If we were going to stay here all night, why did you tell me to dress up?" You ask, slightly annoyed.

"We aren't staying here the entire time. I just figured after our real date we could come back here and watch movies or something," He assures you.

"Hm. Okay," You say. You grab your stuff and follow Leo out of the lair. A few minutes later, Leo leads you up onto a rooftop. The rooftop is beautifully decorated though .White Christmas lights shine around the rooftop and in the middle of the area you see a white blanket with a picnic box on it. A huge grin spreads across your face. Leo wraps his muscly arm around you and kisses you deeply.

"Happy One-Year," He finally says when you two break away from your kiss.

"Happy One-Year," You agree. He leads you over to the blanket and starts to get the food out. He had actually cooked a lovely dinner of mac and cheese, salad, and toast. You laugh at the meal.

"I know it's not really a fancy dinner, but I made it myself. Well, I had a bit of help from Mikey…" You reach over and kiss him lightly.

"I love it. It's perfect."

He smiles and dishes out the food. After eating the main course, Leo pulls out a little bowl of chocolate covered strawberries that the two of you munch on. It satisfies your sweet tooth and leaves you full. Leo puts everything away, but brings out a small radio from the basket. He turns on some slow dancing music and stands. He hauls you to your feet.

"I'm not too great of a dancer, but I'm willing to try," He grins. You smile and wrap your arms around his neck while he holds your waist. The two of you sway back and forth in comforting silence for a while before Leo speaks.

"I've really enjoyed this past year with you," He whispers to you.

"It's been amazing," You agree as you set your head on his shoulder.

"I never thought I would be so lucky. I never thought I would get a girl like you. I love you, [Y/N]."

"I love you too Leo."

"You do?"

"Of course I do Leo. More than anything."

"Well then… If you love me… you should marry me," You stop dancing and look up at him with wide eyes. He seems to be completely serious.

"Leo… What are you talking about?" You ask in suspicion. To answer your question, your turtle boyfriend drops to one knee. Your heart pounds in your chest and you're sure your face is turning red. Leo pulls out a small box from behind his back. When he does that, your hands fly up to cover your mouth.

"[Y/N] [M/N] [L/N]… Will you marry me?"

There's another knock on the door, breaking you from your flashback. April slowly opens it and peaks in. You see Angel peaking over her to see.

"It's time."

You grab Mia's hand tightly before grabbing your bouquet and following them out. When you guys get outside, you see the barn doors are closed. Mikey, Donny, Raph, and Master Splinter are standing outside talking and waiting for you guys. As you come into view, Mikey sees you and gasps, making the others turn around to see you. April sneaks into the barn to tell them that you're ready.

"[Y/N]?" Mikey asks in shock.

"How do I look guys?" You ask, twirling to let them see.

"Leo's gonna faint," Raph simply smirks.

"So I've been told," You laugh. Donny walks up to you and hugs you.

"You look amazing sis," He smiles.

"Thanks Donny," You laugh. You hug Raph and Mikey too before April comes back out, quickly shutting the door behind her.

"Places!" She says. She stands up front with Mikey, Raph and Angel behind them, and then Donny and Mia in front of you. Master Splinter comes to stand by you. He allows you to wrap your arm in his so that he may walk you down the aisle.

"You look beautiful my daughter," He smiles at you. You smile back.

"Thank you sensei," You say. You start to shake when you hear The Professor start up the music on the piano. Master Splinter sets his paw on your hand to calm you.

"You look beautiful Mia," Donny compliments your friend as they start to walk into the barn. You can see Mia start to blush violently.

"Th-Thanks Donny," She stutters. The barn doors shut a bit behind them and the music stops as they all take their places. You find your heart beat accelerating as you hear the 'Here Comes the Bride' music starts. The barn doors open and all eyes turn to you. Everyone is standing and smiling at you as Master Splinter leads you forward to his son, who is standing at the front staring at every inch of you. Leo's eyes are wide and he has a goofy grin on his face that you are sure he isn't aware of. He finally meets your eyes and never looks away from them after that. You continue to hold Master Splinter's paw for support as you walk down the aisle into your future with the love of your life, Leo.

Coot. :) CONGRATULATIONS! YOU AND LEO ARE NOW MARRIED!
