HERE WE GO! LAST CHAPTER OF LEO'S LOVE. BE PREPARED TO CRY.

Happy Endings pt 3

"Don, let them come in," You groan at your brother-in-law as he stands over you, taking your temperature. As soon as Yoshi was out and well, Leo took him out of the room so that Don and Mia could clean up. Your newly sewn shut torso was sore, making it very difficult for you to move.

But you were so knocked up on meds that you really didn't care.

"Are you sure?" Donny asks.

"Yes," You groan.

He nods reluctantly before leaving you and heading to the door. You can hear him giving your two children rules about how to be careful around you before he lets them in.

"Mom?" A voice calls out.

"Over here, love."

You see the faces of your two daughters appear as they are ushered in by their aunt.

"Don't be shy girls, she's awake and doing fine. You can come see her," Mia smiles at them just before she leaves.

Kimi breaks out of her trans, flashes a bright smile at you and starts running at you.

"Mommy!" She shouts.

"Kimi, dear, slow down. I'm still hurting an awful lot," You chide her. She jumps up on the table by your feet and stares at you timidly.

"Sorry Mommy."

"How are you feeling, Mom?" Meg asks as she follows up behind her smaller sibling.

You grab Meg's hand and give her a smile. "I'm doing okay. Just sore."

She nods.

"Sorry if I got you girls scared over nothing."

Kimi looks insulted by what you just said. "Mommy, I wasn't scared. Meg might have been, but I was brave."

Hm. No wonder you red clad brother-in-law called your second child "Fearless Jr.".

"I wasn't scared, I was worried. There IS a difference Kimiko," Meg glares at her.

"Be nice in here," A new voice commands. Leo steps into the room, bringing your newest member of the family in with him.

"Oh, Leo, let me see him," You grin widely as your outstretched arms reach for your son.

Leo smiles at you and brings you Yoshi, placing a kiss on your head as you hold your son.

In the beautiful silence that follows, Kimi choses to speak up.

"His head looks like an egg."

You and Leo exchange looks before bursting into laughter. Meg just face palms herself.

"Ya know, you're head looked like an egg too," You smirk at her.

"But it doesn't now!" She retorts.

"So when Yoshi is your age do you think his head will be shaped like an egg?" Leo asks her in amusement.

Kimi taps her finger on her chin, a habit she picked up from watching her Uncle Donny work in the lab. "I guess not."

Yoshi squirms in your arms, then returns to silently sleeping.

"He's perfect, Leo," You whisper. "He has your skin color."

Leo just smiles and nods.

"Hey… Mom…"

You look over to see Meg is now closer to you than she was before.

"Can I hold him?" She asks in a small voice, one she doesn't use often.

You smile. "Of course you can, love."

You carefully transfer your youngest into the hands of your oldest and watch quietly as the siblings interact.

Yoshi squirms in his sister's arms for a bit, and then goes right back to sleeping. You grin to yourself when you see that sweet, innocent smile that Meg gives him. You can already tell, call it mother's instincts, that even though Meg will tease and torture him till the day that he dies, she will be wrapped around that little boy's fingers forever. Just like with Kimi.

Speaking of Kimi, she climbs over your legs and to Meg to get a better look at the baby. When you had told your girls you were pregnant, Kimi didn't like it. She didn't like the fact that someone else was taking her spot as the youngest child. In fact, she had even interrogated Leo whether or not she was still going to be his 'akachan' or not any more. Leo was almost in tears when he had to explain to her that no one could take her place as his 'akachan', his baby.

"Kimi, be gentle with his head. Its sensitive," Meg calmly tells her.

"I will," Kimi replies. "Meg… he smells like baby powder."

Meg rolls her eyes. "Geez, I wonder why."

Leo chuckles as her wraps an arm around you, kissing your head again.

You couldn't believe how perfect your life was.

"Welcome to the family Yoshi. Our family's crazy, but you'll learn to love it. I promise," Kimi coos at the little turtle in the white blanket.

"Yeah. We all love one another and that's all we need down here," Meg adds. "Plus, you get to learn ninjitsu, which is basically our entire lives. It's crazy too, but trust me, it's the best. It's what holds our family together. Were stronger because of it."

At this point, you have tears streaming down your cheeks. You quickly wipe them away before your family can question them.

You have such an amazingly beautiful family though. Sometimes it doesn't seem real.

"Knock, knock…" A voice calls from the door. You see Lauren peak her head around and look in. "Can we all come in? The kids are dying to meet their new cousin."

"Only if you completely ignore how horrible I look," You laugh.

Lauren ushers in the entire family as Leo reaches down and plants a kiss on your lips.

"You look beautiful to me," He says, making you giggle.

"Congratulations ya two, third one's tha charm, right?" Raph grins as he pats Leo on the back.

"Charm for what Raph? I think we did pretty great with the first two," Leo smirks.

"I don't know about dat. Meg's been giving' me a hard time all day."

"Hey, she gets that from you."

You can see Meg roll her eyes but she stays out of the conversation.

"He smells," Spencer scrunches his beak up as his dad holds him up to see the new baby.

"That's what I said!" Kimi squeals.

"Mama," Danni starts, looking towards her parents, who look just as tired as you.

"Yes, dear?" Mia asks.

"Can you have a baby next? I want a little brother," Danni asks innocently.

Anyone old enough in the room to understand where babies come from laughs as Donny and Mia begin to blush. Donny's brothers being the loudest ones laughing. Danni just doesn't understand how her question is so funny though.

Mia reaches out for her and picks her up. "We'll see dear."

"Seriously though, why am I the only one brave enough to have kids?" You joke.

"Next I believe it's Raph and Audrey's turn," Lauren laughs. Audrey glares at her.

"I don't think the world could handle little Raphs running around, babe," Mikey chuckles at his wife.

Raph rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. "It survived another one of you, didn't it?"

"My sons," Master Splinter speaks as he makes his way towards Meg and his new grandson. Meg silently hands over the baby to his grandfather, who looks at him with great pride. Master Splinter takes out a piece of gray fabric from behind him. "This mask was cut from my Master Yoshi's favorite kimono. I thought maybe this would bring good luck to my grandson, Yoshi, and his future in ninjitsu," He took the mask and sat it on top of Yoshi's blanket. "May it provide him with the wisdom, honor, and skill that it did for his namesake."

DEAD. IM DEAD. THAT WAS JUST TOO CUTE.

I hope you guys enjoyed this last little chapter of Leo's Love. Like my other stories, I might update once more, kind of like a conclusion chapter. 😊 Yay!
