ELC Shorts 13

Change

ElectricCirucslover: The ECL Shorts are a year old and I only made 13 of them lol Shows how active I am in the writing scene ;P

Anyways, this story is significant as the Shadow Aaron Petals will no longer look like a black Stitch in my stories. I removed my stories with this "Stitch look" from my gallery and folders in DA. I won't remove them here as, I'm too lazy and people rarely read what I make. Would be pointless to put effort in a clean up if no one pays attention in the first place. The only reason I submit anything to is because I need a backup for my stories if I ever need to "collect" them

I have plans on what I want to do this year. I want to reboot 'Trying to Live Dreams and Survive Nightmares' because it was my most successful story on , but, holy shit was it written by a 13 year old in a power fantasy with a writing skill of a 4th grader? .

I do plan on working on 'I Only Want Your Bugee Bu. I mostly have trouble with the Sandy parts of the story as I want the canon characters to be in-character. I just feel so deflated the past few years. Everyone got tired of my vents and that's fine, I was tired of them myself so I don't write them that often.

Hopefully I'll have more 'umph' to keep me going in the writing world. Though the fire is a bit dim right now...

Enjoy this flash story...

It was a dark night on the Island of Kauai. Angel kissed her children's three son's foreheads and left the room. Stitchie and Andy fell asleep in the bunks, while Shadow shook under his covers on the bottom bunk of the three-bed bunk bed. He tried to sleep but his thoughts kept him awake. The black Stitch-like Imitation Experiment tried to not look around the room, but his fear of the dark made him scan the room in intrigue. He suddenly heard voice call his name from somewhere in the room with Shadow's same voice.

"It's just my imagination. You'll protect me, Mom. You always protect me from monsters. Right?" Shadow whispered to his doll version of his mother.

"Yes, Shadow. I was made to protect you from the monsters in the night," Shadow said in a girly voice as he shook his Mom's head 'yes'.

"I can always count on you, Mom," the black Imitation Experiment smiled, closing his eyes.

"Shadow...I want you..." the voice whispered again.

Shadow screamed, taking off the covers and running to the door, jumping for the door knob. The door wouldn't open as laughter filled the room.

"Look at the mirror, scaredy cat," the voice laughed, coming from the mirror next to the door.

Shadow shook as he slowly creeped to the front of the mirror, seeing a strange creature in his reflection.

The figure stood slightly taller than Shadow, while its horns were shorter with four round bumps near the tips on top of its alligator-like red eyed head with a small snout. His body was all black with small spikes all over its body with glowing and fading red bands near the tip of each spikes. Its long tail wagged with a spike on the tip and four smaller spikes near the tip that were as tall as the spike in the middle. The body, thin and short as it was, had black scales on the surface of the creature's body. on the side of the body, six arms with a small spike under each of its arm. His legs weren't very long but the feet medium length with only three toes and long claws on each toe.

Shadow screamed when it began to not follow his movements.

"You're pathetic. To think I'm you with a different coat of paint," it said, growling.

Shadow began shaking, getting closer to the mirror, "W-w-what d-d-do y-y-you m-m-mean?"

"Oh nothing. Just talking out loud. Bottom line is, things are going to change from now on. You are obsolete and I'm the new creation. You will only be a memory," the alligator-like creature, made a small chuckle.

Shadow was suddenly pushed towards the mirror while the being opened out his hands out from the mirror, which acted like liquid rippling from a tap of another object.

The Stitch-like Imitation Experiment screamed as it was pulled into the liquid mirror. He fully was consumed and the creature jumped out. The monster laughed, and turned to Shadow, who pounded against the glass on the reflection.

"Well, this is the end of the line for you. I am going to enjoy this life while you will only become a distant memory," the new Shadow laughed, smashing the mirror as pieces of glass evaporated after it hit the ground.

He began to hum to himself as he picked up Mom and walked towards the bed, "This is my empire. This is my damn business," he sang, getting into bed.

The new day came, Shadow was covered in blankets. He moved around a bit and started waking up. Pulling the covers off his alligator face and rubbed his eyes while he yawned. The sun shined through the window and onto the bottom bunk of the three-bed bunk bed.

He hopped off the bed and walked to the door, taking a look at the unshattered mirror and smiled, "This is a start of a beautiful day," the Imitation Experiment chuckled, "This is my empire. This shit is my business," singing while flexing his six arms.

"Kids! Breakfast!" Angel called out from the kitchen.

"Coming mom!" Shadow called out.
