A.N : As you know this will be a reading fiction on a good Fanfiction that go by the name Intertwined Fate by YagamiNguyen. I didn't get his permission just yet cause I want to test out my writing since this it will be my first fanfiction so I hope it will satisfy anyone who read it.

Chapter 2 : A New Member

"Chapter 1: The Meteor" Lumine look at the title of the chapter with Mona and Fischl saying the same thing after Lumine finish reading it. Mona ask Lumine " The meteor, is it the same meteor that we encountered before with you, Fischl and I, after the day I took resident in Mondstad that day Lumine. " Lumine shaking her head as she doesn't know if it the same meteor during that time. " Very well then, continue on reading then Lumine, I'm curious about what meteor that it mention in the book" Mona sit down while focusing on the screen. Lumine continue reading on the book.

"Lumine, Paimon is hungry~~~."

"But didn't we just eat not too long ago."

"Walking so much makes Paimon hungry again."

"But aren't you flying the whole time?"

"Flying is Paimon's own form of walking, you know."

" Oh look Lumine, it were we first met each other after you fish Paimon out of the water that day. " Paimon say excitedly as she remember when their first met. Lumine smile and say " Yeah it is Paimon, even since that is day I found you, you have been the best travel companion I have during our journey together."

" Hehehe, you making Paimon blush ya know but Paimon happy to be with you on our journey together. " Paimon blushing while sitting beside Lumine. The others look on with a smile on their face (with some other being neutral in this) at the site of beautiful friendship they have. Lumine pull in Paimon for a one-arm hug and smile happily with Paimon. After a while, Lumine continue reading with the screen going through the scene.

Lumine couldn't help but laugh softly as she turned her head around to look at her traveling companion, who could be the best the best traveling guide/companion that she claimed herself to be, or just as annoying as a fly that just couldn't stop bugging her for a minute and rambling about foods and treasure, even though they were parts of her charms and the sole reason the journey she had had so far with the little fairy like being so entertaining.

" Hey, Paimon let you know that Paimon want to every food there is in Teyvat and all of those treasure we found together have been useful to us to buy thing" Paimon exclaims while crossing her arms " and Paimon also not annoying at all" stomping her foot and stuck her out at Lumine.

Although she couldn't help but wonder what Paimon was. No one seemed to know what type of creature the little fairy-like girl was, even the old ones that they had met at the inns that they had stopped by on their journey. Lumine herself had met her fair share of strange creatures and people on her travel around the many worlds with her twin brother, but none was quite like Paimon, who was smaller than even a child, and had thick white hair that was cropped just above her shoulders, and dark purple eyes. Her outfit was a long-sleeved white jumper, along with white stockings with white boots and a dark blue hairpin.

" Tell your the truth Paimon we all wonder what you really since nobody ever see someone like you before in Teyvat, it like you the first fairy everyone see here." Lumine told her with the others nodding them head at what Paimon really is since their see someone like her before. Paimon look at everyone and told them she herself don't remember what or when she came from.

The most unusual things about the little fairy-like being, however, was the rose-gold crown that levitated above her head as though it was a halo, and a night-blue cape that seemed to fleck with stars and emit sparkling constellations as she floated and flew around.

"Also the clothing you wear is rare since the only people i see wearing them are Mona and Dainsleif so it strange really Paimon." Lumine pointing at Paimon's clothes which indeed have the same astronomy like as Mona and Dainsleif.

Lumine, don't you still have that fishing rod with you?" Paimon then asked while rubbing her stomach, which was rumbling loudly as she floated beside Lumine, while they were crossing a forest to get to Mondstadt.

"It snapped, remember? When I fished you up from that river? You were so heavy it broke in half after I managed to pull you up."

"OI! Paimon is not fat!"

"I never said you were." The pale blonde haired girl retorted playfully, watching Paimon as she stomped her foot angrily at her in the air.

Some of them laugh at Paimon's expression when Lumine read those words out loud. Paimon being Paimon try to stop them from at her. Hu Tao laughing at Paimon say "Oh Paimon, hehehe... don't be mad it just a humor among friends aiya" as she continues giggling at Paimon. " It true Paimon, don't be angry we weren't not making fun of you" Nilou looking at Paimon with a little because she giggle a little bit." Oh fine but no more talking about Paimon weight anymore, Paimon is not heavy okay! "

It wasn't that hard to tell the hunger was slowly getting to her head, and she wasn't going to shut up until she had had something to stuff her stomach full… or they suddenly came across a treasure or something similar. If there was anything that Paimon loved more than food, it was treasures, Mora, and a lot more Mora, the currency of Teyvat.

" Well, there is nothing wrong about getting more Mora, so make sure you get all of those treasure then come and see Dori's Divine Bazaar for any ware you like my dear apprentice. " Dori giggling while daydreaming about all the Mora in the world with people who know her Mora addiction deadpan at her.

"Alright alright, how about we hunt for something? It's almost lunch time anyway." Lumine asked, bringing out her dull blade, an old blade that she had found in a cave not too long after finding, or rescuing, Paimon. It wasn't the finest or sharpest blade in the world, but at least it allowed her to defend herself and Paimon as they traveled together in this dangerous world together.

Lumine missed her powers… but more importantly, she missed her twin brother more.

Lumine read the word and feel sad until Paimon, Ayaka and Keqing put their hand on hers for support so she can continue finding her brother, Aether and try to convince him to stop his plan with the Abyss's Order.

"Well, try not to cheer too loudly, or you will scare the animals and I won't be able to catch anything." Lumine said as she spun her blade around, making Paimon pout and cross her arms on her chest.

With another amused laugh, Lumine began to walk around, straying from the path to look for a wild animal, or possibly just some fruits would do since Paimon had eaten all the foods that she normally used to make baits as well. She knew that a sword would never be a decent enough weapon for hunting, but if she could catch a boar by surprise, then her dull blade would do its job nonetheless.

Paimon also cheer her on from her side cause she remember all the food they captured in the past and how delicious it was. Lumine look at Paimon's face and see some drool from the corner of her mouth so she snap her fingers in front of Paimon's face. Paimon look a little bit embarrass. Paimon chuckle nervously and say sorry cause remembering all the food they ate together.

The land of Mondstadt had always been known for the richness in nature, so it didn't take long for Lumine to locate a herd of wild boars with Paimon, each one looking big enough to keep them full for days. Placing a finger to her lips to tell Paimon to be quiet, which the little fairy like girl nodded her head repeatedly in understanding, the pale blonde haired girl began to sneak her way toward the herd, crouching down low and crawling on her hands and feet so that she could use the bush to avoid being seen by them. Having lived and survived in the wild for months now, it wasn't that hard for Lumine to be sneaky, allowing her to get around the herd without making a single sound or them noticing.

"Ahhh... the wind still enriching the land of Mondstadt as ever I see, it reminds of a poet that I heard long time ago" A certain bard make himself beside our dear consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor who face show some irk for the bard. " Why yes, the land of Mondstadt till to this day a beautiful site for occasion day-off I do believe so myself." Zhongli reply with a small smile and a straight face.

"Alright, here I go." Lumine murmured, more to herself than to Paimon, who had become dramatically nervous as she hid behind her traveling companion's head. Tightening her grip around her sword's handle, Lumine then shot out of her cover and ran as fast as she could toward the closet board of the herd with her dull blade at the ready.

"Huh? Lumine, watch out!"

Paimon's scream of warning caused Lumine to stop dead in her tracks, and snapped her head to the side and then up when she felt that something was indeed coming at her. Her eyes widened in shock, however, when she saw a meteor or something similar covering in flickering golden flame crashing through the trees as it descended upon her from the sky, leaving a trail of fire and smoke behind it.

Lumine read but also confuse cause this event never happen to them during they trip. Paimon look at Lumine was confuse aswell since this did not happen to them at all. " So this is different from what we remember that day cause that meteor didn't happen at all. " Everyone look at the screen and seeing this golden meteor but became worry cause the meteor was going straight to Lumine at high speed.

Becoming completely frozen on her feet, it was only until Paimon threw herself at her and tried to push her that Lumine was able to snap herself out of shock and grabbed the both of them so she could jump them out of the way of the meteor as it crashed into the ground, blowing up a large amount of dust and causing the wild life around the area to run in terror. Lumine and Paimon, who were both so close to the crashing point, were both hurled into the air before landing several feet away, with the pale blonde haired girl landing on her back and skidding a bit of distance away before coming to a stop.

Everyone sigh of relief cause Paimon action, she got Lumine to think quick and get out of the way of the meteor. Lumine smile at Paimon and say thank you while rubbing her head. Paimon smile back and enjoy her headpat from Lumine. The others also tell Paimon that she did a great job of trying to protect Lumine from harm. " Nice job Lavender Melon, protecting your compadre. " Itto shouted with thumb up to Paimon.

" So what giant stone is this meteor thing anyway" Itto ask cluelessly with Shinobu telling what a meteor is to him.

"Do you think we should check it out?" Lumine asked as she put a hand on her knee and pushed herself up, glancing over to Paimon who simply gave an unsure shrug of her shoulders. The two of them did not see anyone when they were there, but…

"Ugh…"

Everyone eyes widen cause of the sound. "Oh no, someone must gotten hurt when the meteor hit ground, Lumine you must help them" Barbara being the deaconess is concern about someone getting injure by the meteor. "Calm down Barbara, I'm sure that Lumine will investigate and find this person aswell help them." Jean trying to calm down her baby sister Barbara. " Don't worry Barbara, I'm sure that other me will help this person." Lumine smile and help Jean to ease Barbara overreaction.

What was that?!" Paimon asked in fright when they heard a weak, almost unnoticeable groan coming from the crash site. Lumine, however, had her eyes widened in surprise, realizing that someone had indeed gotten hurt by the meteor crashing. Without wasting any more time, the pale blonde haired traveler hurriedly made her way toward the crash site, making Paimon fly after her while saying loudly "Wait up, Lumine. Be careful!"

Running through the broken tree trunks and burning leaves, with her arms shielding her face from the smoke and heat, it did not take long for Lumine to get to the crash site with Paimon flying right behind her, them both looking around to find that person. Using her dull blade, Lumine was soon able to clear a direct path to the crash site, but what she found there wasn't something that she had expected.

" What it is, it's a giant monster trying to eat us or maybe an alien that try control Paimon, aaahhhh... ouch" Paimon holding her cheek where Keqing poke her and say " Stop overreacting Paimon, we don't know yet and a fall like that will probably kill it." Keqing look at her while cleaning her ear cause Paimon scream near her ear. " Hehehe... sorry Keqing about that, Paimon didn't mean to ya know." Paimon feeling bad about that but Keqing lighten up her mood by saying "It fine Paimon, sometime we don't know thing but we can know thing by learning about them." Keqing smile and Paimon smile back at her.

Before the next scene show, blindfolds appear around Klee, Diona, Sayu and Yaoyao eyes with them them yelling why they can't see anymore. The adult near them try to remove them, a note appear in them hand saying that the next scene is a little bit horrifying for them so the blindfolds are there to protect their innocence. With that everybody quite down and look at the screen

Lying within the large hole that the crash had created, was without a doubt the person that they were looking for, a young man who was lying within a pool of his own blood. He had bright, spiky blonde hair, and strangely enough, whisker markings on his cheeks. His clothing was a ragged, torn up mesh shirt of some sort, with orange colored pants and black sandals.

From there, it did not take long for Lumine to notice that his right arm from the elbow down was missing, and the pool of blood he was laying on was coming from there.

"Oh archon what happen to this young man, he look like he come out of a battle for his life." Ganyu sadly looking at the blond teenage with the pool of blood underneath him. "Oh dear, so young yet unable to live the rest of his life cause this meteor hit him." Lisa frown from the lost of a young life before her eyes." Lumine look at the young man in the screen but notice something strange about the blond teenage.

As Paimon flew down and tried to check if the young man was still alive or not, Lumine intended to follow right after her companion, but found herself pausing for a second to look around the crash site. She had seen a meteor crashing before, and knew one when she saw one.

But there was no trace of a meteor around, no strange, smoking rocks or anything similar.

"So I was right then" Lumine yelling and the others were confuse. "You were right about what, Lumine." Ayaka asking Lumine when she yell that. "Notice that there nothing around the crash site the meteor hit." Lumine pointing out towards the surrounding area the blonde. "I see that your conclusion toward that then." Alhaitham catching on what Lumine say. "What are you on about Alhaitham, you don't mind telling everyone else here." Kaveh not having another of Alhaitham cryptic thinking. "I believe that the book will tell us about it, it that right Lumine." Alhaitham looking at Lumine in hope to not answer Kaveh question. "Yes it's does and it the last line of this chapter." Lumine looking at the book.

As Lumine turned back to look at the young man lying in the middle of the hole, she could only come up with one possible explanation for it.

He was the meteor.

" What? are you sure about that Ms Lumine, cause that fall and the speed the meteor coming can't be him right." Sucrose thinking logically since the human body can't withstand that type of velocity and hit the ground and not be a speck of blood on it. "I don't know Sucrose but the fact that there no other debris than him gave me the conclusion that he cause all of that." Lumine trying to find a good explanation of the situation. " It's interesting really" Albedo say all the sudden and Sucrose look at him " What so interesting Mr Albedo." Albedo look at the blonde and say " Our new friend here clearly survive the fall but yet to seem only pass out than dying in the ground there."

" Lumine can you read what happens in the next chapter please." Diluc ask Lumine to see the next page but it wouldn't budge but suddenly the book flow and fly toward Jean and land on her lap. "It seems the book choose who read the next chapter after finishing the chapter before." Venti say as he sit near the acting grandmaster Jean.
