OHSHC Club Chat – Open

Me: Man, what a Romeo, no? *Flashes out a phone with the whole video clip*

Kaoru: You…filmed…the…whole…THING?!

Hikaru: Even if InfiniteSnow were to accidentally delete the clip, your whole dilemma is on the web.

Kaoru: HOW?

Azumi: Story format, airhead!

Kaoru: HEY! DROP THE NAMES!

Me: *sighs* Fine I will delete it!

Hikaru and Azumi: YOU DUMB? PUT IT ON YOUTUBE!

Kaoru: HEY!

Me: But not before I save it to my desktop, no! I didn't know you wanted me to have a momento of your childish side, Kao.

Kaoru: I'M DOOMED!

Haruhi: How is he doomed?

Me: *mutters* 'still innocent and naïve…' Nothing, Haru-chan. Honors, please?

Haruhi: Okay. InfiniteSnow doesn't own OHSHC or any of its plotline or original characters. She owns this plotline/story and any other OC's created.

*~xoxox~*

Kaoru clutched his forehead.

It was getting stronger and stronger and stronger.

From the king sized bed five feet away from his identical one, a pair of identical amber eyes looked in pity and sorrow. Nodding his head, he promised, "I understand the blood tablets aren't working. Now you will need real human blood samples from the blood bank."

Kaoru weakly turned his head towards his twin, "I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be sorry to me. Be sorry to her."

"How?" Kaoru doesn't know how that human needs his apology than his twin.

"Because we all know she awakened you and you will, at some point, need her blood," Hikaru glared at his brother when the truth didn't sink easily for his apprehensive twin. Then his eyes softened.

Kaoru lowered his eyes in shame. He doesn't know, why out of all the girls in the world, he had to fall in love with an insignificant human.

He is a Pureblood and has the power to convert any other human or noble vampire into his kind by biting them and offering his own blood. But it is very rare, a forbidden relationship that cannot happen, and he and his twin seem to be rule breakers.

At least Azumi had some kind of status in the society. She was a noble who could turn humans into noble vampires, but she had a rank by birth.

If he were to go to the vampire council and say he wishes to marry Haruhi, they would immediately reject and then refer him to his cousins who want to marry him badly, just to preserve their thick bloodline.

He sighed, and Hikaru was wondering what his twin was wondering about.

Kaoru panted as his throat would take less and less oxygen.

Perhaps…

Perhaps it is best to conceal it.

My feelings for you, my forbidden bloodlust for your nectar,

My darling Haruhi…

It is better to confine myself far away from you, where you will never be tainted by darkness like me…

Hikaru heard this through telepathy, and his eyes widened.

"Oh no…" he whispered in shock. The beast in Kaoru is awakening.

What could he do now?

Kaoru noticed him, and he turned his head towards his twin, slightly glaring and slightly confusing.

"Bring her to me…" his voice turned from weak to raspy.

"No," Hikaru boldly stood his ground.

"Now, or I will find her myself," Kaoru hissed.

When Hikaru made no attempts to do as Kaoru pleased, the younger twin's glaring eyes turned into narrow slits and he decided to pursue the young maiden himself.

Humans do love the day, don't they?

Hikaru was thinking, how can Kaoru leave the room when in horror he saw his brother come apart into black bats and leave the room through the small opening from underneath the door.

Hikaru cursed underneath his breath and dashed off to find Azumi.

He ran to her room and bashed open her door.

"I am trying to sleep! Knock before you open-"

"No time to talk. Kaoru's inner beast awoke and now he is going to give into his desires! We have to stop him!" Hikaru tried to shake the living daylight into his wife.

"Oh my god," she turned deathly pale, "She is awake, I remember, she is somewhere in the hallways. Let's go!"

She quickly flung the robe around her slim body and yanked Hikaru out the door with her.

Meanwhile, Haruhi was in the hallways. She was admiring the pretty Victorian windows and the crystal chandeliers that hung on the roof of the arched ceiling.

Then a clawed arm grabbed her forearm and yanked her back, making her painfully land on her back. Pain shot through her right forearm as the claws created deep trails of blood before yanking back.

Haruhi watched in horror as the clawed arm with her dripping blood went up to a mouth and a tongue licked her blood off of it.

When she inclined her head a little more, she saw the eyes of the vampire she shied away from ever since she appeared at the manor.

Kaoru.

The person who she could never figure out, and never understand why he was reserved unlike his brother. She took them apart and every time she pointed to Kaoru, curiosity would tinge through her as she became eager to find out his dark self.

And now, she saw him, in his beastly form.

Haruhi winced as the clawed hand became a normal human hand, and a sigh released from his lips.

She shivered and whimpered in fear when his eyes glow bloody red.

She screamed in pain when a slap whammed her across her cheeks. A punch buried itself in her stomach when she tried to get up, like she would try to play 'damsel in distress' and flee.

He whipped something out of his pocket and the poor girl's eyes widened in fear.

A knife. So much alike to the one her father used.

Before she could have second thoughts, the cruel blade slashed a deep scar made three huge scratches on her left cheek, and two more on her right.

Haruhi wanted to scream, but she couldn't.

This pain, it fell to familiar.

Maybe she did murder her mother after all. And she deserves this endless torture.

"Haruhi Fujioka," the voice whispered, "what have you done to me?"

Haruhi shivered in fear, as she braced for more pain and punishment that she deserved so richly.

Sometimes, she felt she was a masochist.

But it didn't matter.

[Three Hours Later]

Haruhi was covered from head to toe in heavy scratch marks, bruises, open bleeding wounds and whip marks wherever Kaoru whipped her with a rubber whip.

Haruhi's eyes were becoming foggy, but one thing she knew at the moment, was her feelings.

"Kaoru, please hear me out…" Haruhi weakly pleaded the vampire.

"Don't call me by my first NAME!" then a whip almost came down on her. But who was she to care if it hit her? She is almost a puddle of blood now.

"I wanted to say, that ever since I came here, I felt so happy that I got the love and affection that my dad had neglected me of. I want to say that everyone here had been like a family I thought I never had. I love each and every one of you who kindly took me in when I collapsed on the snow, outside your gate, two years ago. I am so happy that though short-lived, I was treated so kindly, and that is all I ever wanted: to be lovingly hugged every time I woke up. I wanted to be tickled and teased and given lots of kisses on the cheek and forehead. I wanted to play outside with someone, I wanted someone to be with me all the times, I wanted someone to want me to be home, I wanted a curfew. I wanted someone to be happy that I am home. I wanted people to be happy that I existed. And my wish was granted. I'm so happy," Haruhi said, as tears slipped out of her eyes and mixed with the blood from the gashes on her cheek.

Kaoru, from somewhere within his beastly form, heard a string snap, and his monstrous demeanor was starting to break apart at the poor girl's plight.

He slumped at his knees unable to break his eye contact with the human girl's sad and kind warm brown eyes.

Haruhi was afraid if she should tell him, but it is now or never that he knows.

Taking a deep breath and wincing in pain as her chest contained a deep scar; she broke into several painful coughs.

When they subsided, Haruhi took all the strength she had left and lifted her left arm, ignoring her body's painful cries.

She reached out, her hand shaking terribly, and cupped Kaoru's cheek in her hand, and stroked his cheek with her weak fingers, trying to caress him and comfort with whatever stamina she had left.

"K-Kaoru, if you are still there, f-for m-me, p-please c-come b-back…" she sobbed, more tears mixing with her fresh blood.

Kaoru's eyes widen as his beastly nature was starting to crack. All she has to do is say a few more words and it will crack for good.

"B-because, I love you…I love y-you so much m-my heart hurts…" her cries subsided and her eyes were glazed over with thick sleep.

"No…" he whispered.

Her hand, once tenderly stroking his cheek and rubbing small circles in it with her thumb to calm him down, fell to the ground with a noticible 'thud!' Her breathing slowed down, and her tired eyes closed.

"NO!" he yelled in horror as his beastly exterior shattered into infinite pieces.

"I smell blood! She's here!" Azumi's voice came in the distance.

"Coming!" a panting voice strained to follow her.

Huge shrieks sounded and even his parents and Mizumi fled to the scene.

"HARUHI!" Azumi broke into hysterical sobs into Hikaru's shirtfront.

Hikaru wrapped his arms around his wife, and glared at Kaoru.

Kaoru looked down in shame and regret and remorse.

Haruhi was on her back, in her lacy white nightgown that reached her knees and lacy pants that reached her ankles. Blood heavily stained her arms, legs, stomach, and pooled behind her back. It was torn apart in several places by gashes, the dress.

Her face was covered in gashes, and her face was contorted in sorrow and sadness. Her hair pooled around her face like a halo, like she could be in heaven any moment, if she died.

And next to her, was Kaoru leaning on his knees, looking disgusted with himself.

"In the name of seven hells…" the mother paled several shades, obviously trying to hold back herself.

"An understatement…" the father agreed with the mother.

"My goodness…" Mizumi could break apart any minute from the shock she saw.

"Mizumi, hurry her to her bedroom and start issuing immediate medical attention," the mother ordered, worry flickering in her eyes.

Mizumi bobbed her head up and down in fear and made her way towards where the two were, wincing as she picked up the light girl from the ground, feeling terrible at all the blood she had lost.

She hurried from the hallway and scurried up the stairs and gently undressed her and laid her gently in the bubble bath she had prepared for Haruhi in anticipation.

The soapy water turned into red murky liquid when the blood from her wounds mixed with the water.

Mizumi wanted to cry when she saw the water turned a deep red, but for Haruhi's sake she had to stay strong. Wiping her baby tears off, she sucked it up and started to scrub her down.

When she was done with that, she discarded of the ruined nightwear and undergarments and took out a midnight blue nightgown that reached her ankles, no pants.

She dressed Haruhi slowly, and slipped on the nightgown. Laying her on the bed, she applied antibiotic to all her wounds and bandaged it up with the bandage rolls.

One hour later, she was done. She gently laid the poor girl down on the bed again and drew the warm blue quilt to her chin, tucking her in all warm and soft.

"Kaoru…" his name passed her lips, "please wake up…"

Mizumi's heart wrenched when she heard the poor girl call in her unconsciousness to the person who brought down this pain on her. Sometimes she thought that Haruhi was a girl with a heart of gold.

The poor girl pined for him in her sleep, despite the horrible and cruel treatment she received.

Mizumi laid her face in her hands, and wept. She couldn't hold it in any longer.

Soft knocking sounded on the door and Azumi's panic-stricken voice wavered through, "Mizumi may I see her?"

"You may," Mizumi sadly nodded.

A fear stricken Azumi and a deeply worried Hikaru came in and rushed to Haruhi's bedside.

"Haruhi! Can you hear me?!" Azumi cupped Haruhi's cheek and tried to shake the girl to reality, only to fail miserably. Haruhi let out a little groan but didn't do anything else.

"Oh my god I wanna die…" Azumi crumpled down on the ground crying, and Hikaru knelt beside her and slapped some sense into her.

"And you think that dying and escaping this misery will be painless? Do you think she will be happy to see you left her?" Hikaru admonished his wife.

"Not really…" Azumi mumbled, but still buried her face in her hands.

The door creaked open, and the culprit of this whole incident came in, softly making his way to Haruhi's side.

"No murderers allowed," Azumi snapped at him and glared Kaoru down.

Kaoru said nothing but sat down on the bedside chair next to her bed.

Without another word, he took his wrist to his mouth and bit it. Blood started to form streams down his wrist and when they threatened to drop, he gently lifted Haruhi's head upwards and positioned his wrist at her mouth so that she received the blood.

"What, a change of heart?" Azumi scoffed, angrily.

"She might heal faster," Kaoru murmured, not taking eyes off of Haruhi to make sure she received all of the blood dripping down.

True to his word, when she got a good deal of his pure blood, the heavy open wounds, gashes, cuts, slits, stinging whip marks started to close up and heal by a quarter of its previous state.

Kaoru took his wrist from her mouth and looked at Azumi, who felt so dumb that she didn't do that before.

"This is as far as I can go today. Everyday I will offer her some blood so her injuries are looking better than the previous day," he said.

Azumi was at a loss of words but she decided that this kind act could go rewarded by her not strangling him to death.

"Come on, my dear, we will check on her tomorrow," Hikaru smiled at his wife.

Azumi protested, but Hikaru nonetheless dragged her out the door, giving the 'good luck' message to Kaoru over his shoulder.

Lastly was Mizumi, who stayed quiet throughout the whole thing.

"I will be taking my leave for the day, Young Master," she bowed to Kaoru.

Kaoru nodded to Mizumi, and she formally bowed again before curtly leaving the room.

When the door closed behind her, Kaoru let a huge sigh leave his mouth. Now it was just him and the girl who just made him feel things on the extreme ends.

He reached out a hand to stroke her soft cheeks and feathery hair, when he suddenly decided to keep his distance away from her as much as possible.

But a small cute hand reached forward and prevented him from leaving. Kaoru looked around and then was surprised to see a pair of huge, brown, eyes just waking up from her knockout.

"Don't leave. Please stay," she childishly tugged the edge of his button down shirt towards her and she even struggled getting up.

Kaoru's eyes widen. He felt so happy, so appreciated.

He nodded. Maybe later there might be a time where they can be on speaking terms.

He took off his boots, and climbed in next to her, drawing her thick blue quilt to his chin, as he wrapped his arms around her waist, drawing her closer and closer to him until she was hugged against him.

"Thank you," he thought, "Thank you so much."
