Me: Hello everyone and welcome to another chapter of Kid Vs Kat meet Ben 10. Here's another chapter and I hope you all enjoy.
Chapter 19: Jealousy
Ben walked inside the Burtonburgurs home with a smile on his face. Just a few minutes ago he just kissed Fiona and felt really great about it. He was still shy of what others would think and bothered not to show it as he made it to the stairs.
Suddenly, Ben could hear footsteps rushing down the stairs in a hurry. Curiously, he looked upwards to the top just to see Coop tackle him to the ground. The next thing he knew was Coop angrily glaring at him as he had a grip on his shirt.
"How could you do that?!" Coop yelled down at Ben.
"Do what?" Ben asked confused.
"Kiss Fiona!"
"Oh." Ben blushed, "Well what's wrong with that?"
The question sparked Coop anger as he raised his fist above him. All that mattered to Coop was the burning anger of jealously and betrayal. Before he could throw a hard punch to Ben, Dennis rushed to his friend and held his wrist.
"Hold it, Coop." Dennis cautioned him. He tried pulling Coop off Ben, but he wouldn't agree. Coop still held Ben down with much anger within him, trying to get Dennis to let go of him. Soon, the noise from the trio was heard as Burt and Kat rushed into the room. Burt was shocked at what was going on and ran to Ben's aid while Kat stood and snickered at the sight.
Instantly, Burt grabbed Coop from the shoulders and pulled him off Ben. With Coop off him, Ben got back to his feet and turned to face Coop angrily.
"What was that for?!" Ben demanded.
"You kissed Fiona!" Coop snarled at Ben.
Burt held Coop from behind as much as he could. His son was however stronger than usual when angry that Burt was having trouble keeping him still. Ben came to realize what Coop said and blushed from the embarrassment.
"So you like her." Ben said, realizing what just happened.
Coop stopped struggling from his dad and calmed down. But the angry glare he had on his face still remains towards Ben, "Yeah! How couldn't you notice that?! I liked her, Ben…" His face then dropped to the ground as sadness came formed, "And now I have no chance with her."
"Look, Coop I'm…" Ben said sadly, but wasn't given the chance.
"Sorry." Coop muttered sadly, "Just don't bother." Coop could feel the restraint on him release and tugged his hands off his dad. He continuously glance at Ben though not angry, "You're not my friend, Ben."
The moment Coop said those words to Ben the entire room was silent. Ben stood shocked at Coop in disbelief. He wanted to say something, but couldn't find the words. Coop snarled at Ben for a last time before walking up his stairs without a word. Despite, Coop leaving the silence within the room still continued.
"Well I didn't see that coming." Kat said from entrance of the kitchen.
Everyone including the Ben turned to the alien Kat with an angry look.
"Sorry." Kat apologize with a sheepish grin.
Ben sighed sadly at the ground. The depression on his face wasn't ignored as Burt walked to him and put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry, Ben. I'll talk to Coop." Burt tried to assure him, but Ben made no response. The young hero still bowed his hand down in depression. At this point, Burt knew he couldn't help Ben, so he left Ben and walked up the stairs in hope of getting Coop to reconsider.
Back down at the stairs, Dennis watched as Burt walked up the stairs. He couldn't blame him for trying. Then he looked back at the depressed Ben and decided to help out.
Dennis walked to Ben's side and put his hand over Ben with an assuring smile, "Dude you have to get over it. I know Coop and he doesn't hold grudges…well unless your Kat."
Kat glared at the Asian boy, "You know I'm here right!"
Dennis didn't pay any attention to the glare Kat was giving him. He still had his hand over Ben, expecting Ben to say something. Just then, Ben looked up at him with a semi-smile.
"Why aren't you angry like Coop?" He asked.
"Because i don't take things too seriously." Dennis answered, "Coop has always judged someone too quickly. While that is good sometimes it's bad. We shouldn't blame you for Fiona falling in love with you. You had no clue and that's the mistake we never said before it's too late."
"So should I break up with Fiona?"
Dennis shook his head, "No. I may not know about relationships, but I do know it's a worse thing to break up with a girl without a clear reason."
"Thanks for the advice." Ben said to him. He no longer felt the burden he felt earlier and only could think about how Dennis could give such words, "How do you know what to say?"
"Um...some romance novels." Dennis answered him with a sheepish look.
Ben gave him a weird look and Dennis noticed it, "What? There're really good to read."
"I didn't say it was bad." Ben chuckled.
The two laughed for a while. They enjoyed the humor that just happened a moment ago. Dennis was the one to stop and so was Ben. He then smiled at Ben, "I'm going to call my parents and tell them I'm going to sleepover for a while."
"Why?" Ben asked.
"I think you'll need me for a while." Dennis assured. Ben nodded in understanding and Dennis left to the living room. Rather than standing there, Ben looked to the entrance of the kitchen and saw Kat with a smile. Though the smile was a genuine one Ben still felt odd about it.
"What are you smiling about?" Ben asked, an irritated look on his face.
Kat didn't say anything as he gestured him to the kitchen. Ben returned an assured look. But Kat didn't say anything as he walked into the kitchen. Eventually, Ben's curiosity got over him and he ran to the kitchen. He saw Kat sitting at the kitchen table and walked up to him while his hand was over the Omnitrix.
"Really, Ben?" Kat glance at him with a question look.
However, Ben didn't drop his stance as he drew closer to him, "Sorry, but I still having a hard time trusting you."
"Well I guess I should expect that." Kat said, "After all I haven't really said why I'm with you guys."
"So are you going to tell me?"
"No." Kat shook his head, "Tomorrow is when I'll tell you all that way I don't have to explain it over. But now I want to talk about earlier."
"Ok." Ben dropped his stance and took a seat across Kat. He didn't know what the alien cat wanted to say and was half regretting it. However, he decided to listen to him and if he hated it then he would kick his butt with XLR8.
Kat then began, "So I saw what happened lately and it made me thinking. Why Fiona? Clearly you two just met and I'm sure your not the time to go right ahead."
"You think you know me?" Ben gave him a stubborn look, "Just butt out ok. I have my reasons why I love Fiona and I don't need to tell you."
"Ok, I'm sorry." Kat sighed, "It's just that I suspect something." Ben saw the look on Kat's face. The alien cat looked concerned and suspicious about something and Ben was sure he wasn't going to tell him. "Now that I'm an enemy of my home planet I think someone wanted you two to fall in love. I saw the moment you two kissed and I think something is odd."
"Like what and weren't you in the kitchen?" Ben asked him.
"I have cameras around the house." Kat informed him, "And I felt something like force collider at work. It's a device and pushes two things to one and I think that how you two first kissed."
"Ok. so what should I do about it?"
"Don't tell anyone. If they knew then that would make our chances of stopping the invasion on this planet. The spies my planet's commander sent would probably be disguised as someone we know so be careful."
"What if you're the spy." Ben eyed Kat suspiciously.
Kat smirked, "Good observation, human. But no I'm not a spy. Just helping you and Coop has made me an enemy of my planet. I'm telling you this so you can be conscious in case the spies jump you when you least expect it. With that Omnitrix you have the chance of fighting them and not to forget you're the most powerful human in the universe." Kat then sighed in relief and got off his seat. He looked at Ben with the continuous smirk, "Good luck, kid. I have a feeling you'll need it." With said, Kat left, just passing Dennis as he entered the kitchen.
Dennis glances at Kat with a confused look. He then looked back at Ben at the kitchen table which furthers his confusion. He looked back at the retreating Kat and finally at Ben, "What were you two doing?"
"Nothing much." Ben lied. He got off the kitchen table and proceeded to Dennis, "He was just babbling some stuff about Ben and I."
"Ok." Dennis smiled, "Anyway, I talked to my parents and they said I could. Though mom was against it, but my dad agreed."
"Cool." Ben said.
The two then walked out of the kitchen to hangout.

The sun rose from the horizon to signify another day. In the living room of the Burtonburgur's home, Ben and Dennis woke up a bit sleepy on their sleeping bags. The two had fun last night as they played video games and talked more about their pasts. Eventually, they soon fell asleep in two sleeping bags. They couldn't go to Coop's room in fear that he might still be angry at Ben. They could only hope that Coop would get over his anger and forgive Ben.
Ben was the first to rise from his sleeping back and glance as he sat up from his sleep, "Good morning, Dennis."
"Morning, Ben." Dennis replied.
The next few minutes, Dennis and Ben removed their sleeping bags and got ready for a shower. Ben made sure to not see Coop until he forgiven him. Dennis thought it was a bad idea, but couldn't blame Ben. The two finally finished showering and ran to the kitchen to eat. At the kitchen, Burt Burtonburgur was busy cooking when he suddenly heard footsteps and looked behind him with a smile.
"Well you two are up early." Burt smiled at Dennis and Ben.
"Hi, Mr. Burtonburgur." Dennis and Ben greeted in unison as they got to their seat at the table.
The aroma of the food could be smelt around the kitchen. Dennis and Ben could hear their stomachs growl and waited for the food to be done. Burt soon finished as he brought a tray of hot chicken wings and set two plates for the boys. He then dropped the plates and instantly they began eating it.
"So how's Coop doing?" Dennis asked, before swallowing two bitten meats.
Burt sighed deeply, "Well he's stop hitting his stuff around the room and went to bed early. I don't know, but I hope he calms down."
"Me too." Ben whispered.
Just then, the door bell rang signaling that someone was outside. Remembering what Kat told him yesterday, Ben volunteered to answer the door. As he got closer to the door he twisted the dial on the Omnitrix and turned the knob. However, he was embraced in a hug by Fiona.
"Hi, Fiona." Ben said, a blush creeping on his face.
Fiona released her embrace at Ben and smiled at him happily, "Hi, Ben. It great to see you again."
"Well thanks." Ben chuckled happily, "Why are you happy."
"Well when I got home Great aunt Munson yelled and all, but this morning she was ok." Fiona then eyes Ben with a skeptical look, "Did you have anything to do with it?"
Ben chuckled nervously as his hand was behind the back of his head, "Well…"

FLASHBACK: Late at night.
Within the home of Old lady Munson everyone was asleep. The old woman was sleeping peacefully in her state of rest while her dog slept on a small bed next to his owner's bed.
"I'll get you, Tennyson." Old lady Munson muttered in her sleep.
"Shessh. She really hates my guts." a ghostly whisper voice said.
The owner of the voice became visible to reveal a ghost like alien with claw like hands, grey skin with black lines running all over him. The ghost floated quietly above Old lady Munson and rubbed his hands in thought, "Let's see if I can make you reconsider me and Fiona." He whispered. His entire body became dark grey and he entered her.

PRESENT TIME
"Yeah." Ben nodded.
Fiona kissed him on the cheek, making the boy to blush, "Well thanks." She smiled at him.
The two later walked into the house. Ben was nervous at the thought that Coop might see him with Fiona. He didn't want to be in trouble, but he couldn't think straight. He said nothing as he led Fiona to the kitchen to see Dennis, Burt and…Coop.
"Hey, Coop." Fiona greeted Coop.
Coop smiled at Fiona, "Hi, Fiona."
Ben blinked twice to confirm what had happened. Coop didn't angry as he continued eating his chicken wings. Ben was happy, but then a thought came to him. What if Coop was just pretending in front of Fiona? What if he was still angry at him from within? This were thoughts running in Ben's mind. Just before Ben could do anything Kat walked in right beside him.
"Hi, Humans. I have something to tell everyone in the living room. Kat stated in a neutral tone. Everyone in the kitchen looked at him confused except Ben who knew what he wanted to say and Coop who gave the alien Kat a suspicious look.
Eventually, everyone agreed and went to the living room. Everyone took a seat either on the clean carpet or couch. Fiona sat beside Ben, Dennis sat next to Coop a few meters from the couple and Burt sat on a couch.
Kat stood before everyone. He looked at everyone with a determined look as he began, "Now before I start I wish for no one to interrupt until I'm done, ok?" He received nods as they agreed, "Good." He nodded and began, "Now a lot of you don't trust me and I don't blame anyone for distrusting me. But I think it's best that you know that I'm with you all. After Ben, Dennis and Coop defeated me I ran off to the woods. I still had my eyes on the town through the cameras I installed all over the street. Then I was contacted by my planet's commander and was informed I was dismissed as a spy. I tried assuring him that I could get things under control, but he refused. Then a day ago I heard my alarms go off which meant that someone broke into my lab and stole the symbiote extraterrestrial parasite suit . I was definitely shock the next day to find out that Millie was the one the suit merged with. So I made up my mind and joined to fight her."
"That's why you're helping?" Fiona asked.
"Mostly." Kat nodded, "I also want to help fight back my planet in hopes I can revert Millie's condition."
"You said mostly. What's your other reason?" Coop asked.
"I have no other place to go." Kat confessed, "As an enemy of my home planet I can't go back. While I was here, Millie was the only comfort I got in this home."
"So you want to live here on earth?" Ben asked.
Kat became nervous as he answered, "Well…if you…want me to."
The room was silent as everyone dwelled at the thought. The only thing that could be notice was the constant glances that the humans gave each other. Kat practically stood, waiting for their response. Kat's story sounded true, but it wasn't enough to consider him staying. They knew that they'll need his help in the fight against the Kat Nebula Empire. But it was still hard to think about.
Coop stood up and smirked at Kat, "I guess you can. That is if everyone is ok with it." Everyone nodded and muttered in agreement. Kat smiled in happiness and appreciation.
"Thanks. I won't let you humans down." Kat assured them.
"You better not." Ben got up, "Or you'll have to deal with me."
Coop turned to Ben and snarled at him, "You asked you to talk!"
"What?"
"Just don't say anything girl stealer!" Coop yelled at him.
"Girl stealer?!" Ben yelled, shocked of what just happened. Immediately, the shock disappeared as he came to realization. The anger he felt at the moment boiled up to the extent that he couldn't hold it anymore, "That it!" Instantly, Ben angrily walked out of the living room and was about to proceed to the door. But a hand held him as the everyone ran to meet him.
"Wait, Ben." Dennis tried to stop him as he held his hand, "I'm sure that we…"
"Don't you get it?!" Ben snapped at him. He forced his hands off Dennis grip as he angrily faced everyone, "There is no 'we' there was only 'me'. I don't know what I was thinking that I joined some people that I put them in danger for my interference! Well that's ends now! I'm leaving! I'm going to face the Kat Nebulas! And this time I'M DOING IT ALONE!"
Ben scoffed at them the last time before walking. He saw the shock look on their faces as he closed the door. But it didn't matter. None of it does anymore. He had to deal with things by himself and nothing was going to change. He glances at the door in slight regret before the determination replaced it. He walked down the porch, the Omnitrix to his chest as he twisted the dial to a heatblast icon.

Me: Well that's all for now. The attitude and words by Ben almost the ending is from the TV series Ultimate Spiderman, so they owned it. I'm not sure if every word was from Spiderman and I don't clear. Also, thanks for the reviews and please tell me what you think of the chapter nicely.
