Dedicated to Ember411 - for being so totally nice to me and making my whole entire day! (Hope you like this one, it's a little rushed since I think I'm going to fall asleep right here but eh, hope you like!)

Imagine your OTP meeting for the first time because Person A accidentally hit Person B with their car.

"I'm coming home now, dude."

"We're bored, hurry up!"

"Yeah we want to play Halo already you ass-hat!"

"When will you be back? I'm really, really hungry!"

"I agree with him, I'm starving, come back!"

"Jesus, did you not hear me? I'm on my way now, so shut up." Ryder said, snatching the packet of chips off of the shelf and pulling the phone from his ear. He hung up and slid the phone into his back pocket recklessly. "It's your own fault, Jake, you wanted me to go and get the chips." He muttered under his breath, bending over to pick up another packet and throwing them in his arms.

It was meant to be a "dude day", as Sam had called it. They were going to play all of these Xbox games and talk about girls and stuff but unfortunately, Sam had forgotten to stock up on food. So of course, Ryder had to go and buy the food for them, only because the others were too lazy to walk for ten minutes to go to the shop.

So there he was, standing awkwardly in the line as people paid for their food and left the shop slowly, all because his friends were too damn lazy.

Ryder looked down at his feet and sighed, cradling the two packets of chips in his arm like babies. He had his money in his hand and he was trying his hardest to be patient but he barely could contain himself. He just wanted to run home and just beat his friends in Halo – like he always did, because he was the best at that game.

When it finally came his time to purchase his things, he put them on the counter and slammed his money down there too, smiling up at the woman behind the counter. She watched him carefully as she slid the chips across the scanner. It beeped and she then took the money quickly, throwing it into the cash register. "Have a nice day!" She smiled, nodding her head.

"Thanks," Ryder muttered, hurriedly running out of the shop and down the road so he could get home. It would only take five minutes – if he was walking. If he ran, he probably could have gotten there quicker (maybe in under two minutes). And then the games could start, all while feasting on his newly purchased chips.

Ryder darted around the corner and came to the crossing, which was almost two minutes from his house. He smiled and took a quick look left and right before running across the road, the chips shaking in his arms. The sound accompanied his running and made his journey sound so much cooler than before – like he had light weapons on him or something.

As he neared the other side of the road near the park, a car came screeching around the corner and skidding down the road towards him. Ryder didn't have enough time to jump onto the path beside the road before the car came barreling in his direction and hit the side of him at 60km.

He rolled over the windscreen and fell off on the other side, his elbows scraping against the side of the path and his butt hitting the tar beneath him. He heard his phone screen crack and immediately let out a loud curse word.

"I'm so sorry!" He heard the driver of the car scream as she leaped out of the now stationary car and ran around to him, standing above him. He was about to get up onto his feet and yell at her for being so reckless on the road, but then he caught sight of her face.

Brown hair and bright eyes; such a beautiful blue. They were wide with fear and shock, and her cheeks were bright pink.

"It-it's alright." He murmured, shaking his head and using the step up onto the path to get himself up onto two feet. "I'm fine, it's all good." Ryder said, standing up and stretching his shoulder. He could feel blood dripping down his arm but he ignored it. If he made a fuss, the pretty girl in front of him would blame herself and he couldn't have that.

"No, it's not alright, oh my God. I shouldn't have been speeding! I'm so damn sorry!" She screamed, running her hands through her hair. "I'm such an idiot, I'm so sorry." She closed her eyes shut tightly and shook her head.

"No, it's fine, don't worry about it." Ryder said quietly, reaching forward and placing a hand on her shoulder.

"We need… we need to get you to the hospital – you never know what I could have done to you." The girl said, blinking at his elbow like it had been ripped off completely as opposed to just grazed. She looked back down at the front of the car and up at Ryder, shaking her head.

"It's fine – just a grazed elbow." Ryder said, holding up his arm to show her the damage she had done. Barely anything at all, in his opinion.

"That's what Patrick said and now he's dead." She turned her head away and shuddered, like the blood was too much. She whined and shook her head, holding her hands up in front of her face to shield herself from the sight of the blood.

"Patrick?" Ryder raised his eyebrows and watched the beautiful woman in front of him.

"Offspring?" The girl said, slowly moving her arms down and looking at him over the wall she had built with her hands.

"Never heard of it… but maybe you should um, show me it sometime." Ryder smiled, mentally high-fiving himself for thinking of the best pick-up line ever. He smiled at her as she lowered her hands.

"Um, fine… only if you let me take you to the emergency room." The girl grinned as her arms fell by her side. He could just see her eyes glowing in the light and it made his heartbeat speed up.

Ryder sighed and ran his hand over his face, "Fine, whatever… but I'm going to need your name first – I can't let some stranger take to the doctor."

"I'm Marley Rose," Marley held her hand out before Ryder went to offer the bloody elbow hand and she retracted her hand, putting it in her dress pocket. "We'll shake hands later, if you don't mind."

Ryder laughed at her… he couldn't believe how cute and innocent she was. "Deal, and I'm Ryder Lynn."

"What a cute name." Marley laughed, bringing her hand up and pushing her hair behind her ear, her fingers running underneath it nervously.

"Thank you – I like to think of it as more of a… sexy name but okay, whatever the pretty girl says." Ryder shrugged, stepping forward and pushing past her to jump in the passenger seat of the car.

Marley laughed and looked down, blushing bright red. Pretty girl. She looked around briefly before running into the driver's seat of the car and staring over at the injured boy in the passenger seat. She felt so bad but he was so damn cute. "So, Ryder, does this mean we're dating now?" She joked, strapping her seatbelt on and keeping her eyes on him.

He held his elbow awkwardly out the window to make sure not get any blood in the car. "Sure! Hey girlfriend." He smiled over at her and winked. Marley laughed at him and started driving again down the road, taking the left this time to go straight to the hospital.

"I'm so sorry again, I feel totally bad for hitting you." Marley muttered, gripping the steering wheel tightly and taking another turn. She glanced over at Ryder and watched his elbow drip out of the window. She shuddered at the sight of the blood.

"Oh well," Ryder shrugged, glancing over at the brunette in the seat next to him. "Getting hit by a car has its perks."

"Perks?" Marley raised her eyebrows and stopped at a traffic light, tapping her foot anxiously on the ground of the car.

"Yeah, I got a new girlfriend out of it, didn't I?"

"You're serious about that?"

"Deadly serious."
