Hello, everyone and welcome to another chapter of Fusionfall: Unknown Universe. I'm very sorry for the late update, but lately I've been losing interest in this story. I guess its because I haven't watched Kid Vs Kat for a while. However, I'll try to update as soon as I can.

Chapter 22: The Invasion Pt 3
Within the head command ship, a large hole could be seen. Just a few minutes ago, Coop, Dennis, Fiona and Kat had voluntary crashed into the head command ship of the Kat Nebula Empire. Debris still fell from the large hole, landing on a small pile. The debris suddenly burst fly off to different directions, revealing the badly burnt and damaged jet.
Something or someone barged the door open, leaving a large hole in its place. From the hole, the kids and Kat climbed out, all looking safe.
"I'm so not trying that anytime soon." Dennis coughed.
"But at the plus side, we're safe and in the ship." Fiona said.
"C'mon, let's go. Our recent crash would have drawn the guards attention." Kat said before running off down a corridor. The kids silently agreed and followed him, hopefully he knew the way.
However, as they turned a corridor, three guards stood in place, arms raised. The kids and Kat quickly halted, seeing the weapons a raised their hands.
"What now, Kat?" Coop asked, slightly shooting an angry glare at him.
Before any of them could answer, the guards were suddenly sent flying to the wall. One of them got up fast and ran to his weapon on the ground, but something invisible held his tail and raised him off the ground.
"That's a bad kitty." A raspy whisper voice was heard in the air. The guard whimpered, before he was thrown against a wall and fell unconscious.
The kids dropped their hands, faces filled with confusion. Coop, however, stepped forward, knowing what the cause was, though didn't seem sure.
"Ben, is that you?"
There was silence for a while, before a ghostly being appeared before their eyes. The ghostly being was in fact an alien known as Ghostfreak.
"What are you guys doing here?!" He didn't sound happy. In fact, due to their last encounter, he didn't want to see them.
Fiona stepped forward boldly, "Trying to save our home. I know the reason about the argument you and Coop went through, but right now you have to drop it. We all have the same goal and no matter what you say, we'll try and save our earth."
Ghostfreak flew to her face, eye to eyes. Fiona didn't look scared, but rather courageous about her doing. The Omnitrix symbol on his chest began too beep, making its red color. In a flash of light, Ben stood in Ghostfreak's place, a neutral look on his face.
"Fine." He sighed and turned away.
"How did you get here?" Dennis asked.
Ben turned back to him, "Dude, I think we all know the answer by now."
"Oh."
"Besides, we shouldn't waste much time." Ben said, walking away, "As much as I would love to rekindle our friendship, we have a world to save."
The kids and Kat silently nodded before running off, following Ben behind. They all knew where they would be going, but it certainly won't be easy. Guards and other securities like robots and lasers stood in the way.
Ben slammed the watch and turned into Fourarms. While he dealt with the large sized Kat robots, Kat and the kids fought through the Kat Nebula army. Fiona's karate skills and Kat's fighting skills served well against the guards and left all of them unconscious. Fourarms literally tore the robots with his might and Coop and Dennis took some of the unconscious guards weapons to help them.
The fight continues as they made their way to the head room. None of the guards stood a chance and soon most of them that stood in their way were left unconscious on the ground.
The kids and Kat finally arrived at a large door which opened, allowing them in. Coop, Dennis and Fiona held the laser guns they acquired from the kids, while Ben clutched his four fists and Kat retract his claws. The group rushed into the room, where Fiona swiftly leapt forward and kicked two guards simultaneously at the chin.
"Not bad." Fourarms smirked, "Bet I can do better."
Before she could answer, lasers were sent flying towards them. The group quickly got out of the way.
"Well, here's your chance." Fiona smirked before rushing to one of the guards shooting. Fourarms chuckled before charging through the laser, with no harm on his body.
Coop and Dennis ran aside, shooting at any guard that attack. Their reflexes kicked in when a laser was heading their way and they would either respond by avoiding it and shooting heard on. The group moved forward, even taking the ones that were in charge of communication and flying the sip.
Some of the guards tried to run, but Fourarms simply blocked their path, causing them to gulp in fear at the wicked grin. Soon enough, they lay on the ground unconscious, like their comrades.
"Well, that's that all of them." Fourarms smugs, clapping his hands to wipe away imaginary dusts.
Kat, however, looked around, skeptically, "No, I don't think so. Where's the Kat commander."
The kids had the same thought, finally noticing the absence of the ruler. Dennis then noticed something with a pink tail underneath the ruler seat and ran to it.
"I think I've found him." As he said that, he pulled the tail forcedly, revealing the Kat Commander. His nails were into the steel ground as he tried holding himself from being revealed. Coop ran to his best friend's aid and pulled the evil ruler out to full view.
"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in or should I say Dennis who…um." Coop smirked. Due to the lack of pun, his friends and Kat face palmed and groaned.
Fourarms shot a stern look, "Dude, even I'm not bad at that."
Coop wanted to respond to that, but thought against it. They had a mission to do and nothing should interrupt it.
Fiona glanced at Coop, "What now? I didn't think it would be this easy."
"Yeah, too easy." Dennis added, though it was from the fright he felt earlier.
Kat thought about it, silently thinking about their words. He kept muttering the words Dennis just said, even pacing back and forth. The kids stared at him, wondering what he was doing. It wasn't long before a thought registered to him and he turned back to the kids, an alarmed look on his face, "We're in a trap!"
Before they could react, a cat like figure dropped from the ceiling. It charged towards them, knocking them away, including Fouararms. It ran towards Kat, but he leapt out of the way and landed at the other side, and faced him.
"You!" He hissed.
The figure halted, chuckled as he turned to Kat, "Hello, son. Fancy meeting you here."
"You're Kat's son?" Coop groaned as he got back to his feet as the others did.
Kat interjected, shooting a harsh glare as he hissed at him, "Despite that, he and that woman attacked Millie! No one attacks Millie!"
"Aw, are you having special feeling for the human." Ken chuckled.
However, Kat charged, keeping himself from blushing from the statement as he pounced on Ken. He sent his sharp claw at him, but he moved his head out of the way and threw a fast blow to his face. Kat was sent flying and hit a wall before slumping to the ground. He groaned as he got up and smirked when his hand held something.
He watched Ken charged towards him, but then the ground below him shook, knocking him off the ground. The cause of the tremor was Fourarms as he charged towards him. Fourarms tried to land a blow while he was done, but Ken rolled out of the way, putting some distance between him and Fouarms.
Fourarms got ready to attack, but the familiar sounds of the Omnitrix timing out got his attention. In a flash of engulfing red light, he was back to his normal self and with a nervous smile as he saw Ken standing before him.
"Um, you wouldn't want to act a defenseless kid, will you?"
Ken cracked his knuckles with a grin, "Defenseless? Yes." He charged towards Ben.
Ben felt frozen in fear and held his hands up in defense. Ken drew closer but before he could, a large pole hit him, sending him flying the opposite side.
Ben unshielded himself, confused until he saw Kat holding a metal pole, "Thanks."
Kat silently nodded in response. Before any of them could react, the place rocked back and forth as something hit it. Ben tried to keep his balance, but fell to his butt, while Kat stood firmly on the ground.
"What's going on?" Ben asked, beginning to panic.
Kat looked to the wide open windows and watched as several AOI agents, from their jets fired from the outside, "The agents are firing on us! They must think we're dead."
"Why would they think that?"
Kat shot him a stern look, "We crashed through the ship, kid. What else is there to say we shouldn't be dead, if it weren't for the energy field I installed to help us survive the crash we would be dead by now."
"So let's tell them we're not."
"No, don't!" Coop shouted, running towards them with Fiona and Dennis behind him, "If this ship is taken down, then we have a fighting chance to end this battle. Now come on, we have to trick those purple freaks to open fire as well."
"You do know I'm here, right?" Kat said, giving him a scowling look.
Coop smirked, "I know." With that, he ran off to the controls with the others following him.

Meanwhile, outside the head command ship, the battle raged on. The Kat Nebula forces and the AOI agents fought harshly against each other, leaving behind destroyed parts of their ships. One of the fighters was Burt as he threw the armada, blasting half of the Kat Nebula forces.
After witnessing his son and his friends 'death', he was very furious. He no longer felt nervous, scared or frightened. Rather, he felt the anger of ten fathers as he blasted through them. Right next to him, blasting angrily, was Millie. She may have not gotten along with her brother often, but she was regretting it. To let out her emotions, she blasted the Kat Nebula forces like there was no tomorrow.
Both of them flew straight at the head command and began open fire. Parts of the ship burst into flames and soon enough began to descend.
"I'll may them pay!" Burt yelled angrily and slammed a button. A big cannon formed at the top and fired another side of the ship, leaving a large hole.
The command ship was in serious damage and began to plummeting. Before any further damage could be done, multiple Kat Nebula ships came and began firing at the AOI, Burt and Millie.
Magister Black gritted her teeth angrily. Not only had she 'lost' her nephew, but these aliens had the guts to attack. She slammed her fist angrily at the arm rest and shouted, "OPEN FIRE AND LET THERE BE NO SURVIVORS!"
Her jet fighters obeyed and opened fired at the approaching ships. Burt and Millie complied as well and flew forward to strike more blow. Unknown to them, the head command, due to too much damage, began to plummet off course and began entering the earth's magnetic field.

Back inside the command ship, the kids were sent flying to a wall. The force of the plummet began to drag everyone, including the now conscious guards and their commander. Kat fought against the force as he struck his claws through the steel floor and so did Ken.
As fast as he could, he fought against the force as he got to the controls. He tried as much as he could, but there was no response from it. The more the ship entered the Earth's magnetic field, the more force was put upon him as it sweep him off his feet.
Kat grabbed the side of the controls, trying to fight the force, "If the ship doesn't slow down, we'll DIE!"
"Not if I have anything to say about this." Ben spoke up, before darting to the Omnitrix. With the pressure pressed upon him against the wall, it was going to be hard to move his hand at get the Omnitrix. But he didn't let that stop him from trying. He forced his right hand to the left, stuck against the wall, and slammed the face.
Immediately, he was engulfed in a blinding green light. When it died down, in Ben's place was an alien with green stripes that resembles circuitry all over him and wore white clothing.
However, despite the new form, the pressure was forced greatly on him. Upgraded moved into the metal wall circuitry and couldn't been seen. Everyone began to panic and scream as the ship began to get closer to the earth. No could do anything and it would seem there was no hope for survival.
Suddenly, green stripe circuitry emerged from the ground and began covering the entire area. It spread all the way outside, including the inner circuitry of the ship. Within a few minutes, the ship began to slow down, despite its damage. The head of the ship was pulled up before they hit the ground, causing it to skid on the ground, rather than crashing.
When it finally came to a halt, everyone stuck on the wall fell to the ground. The kids groaned as they rubbed their heads, before looking forward to find themselves surrounded by Guards. Kat Commander stood before them, a proud smirk on his face.
"Geow Geow Geow!" He then began laugh. He then snapped his finger, motioning Ken to come with Kat in handcuffs, "Geow Geow."
As the guards pointed their weapons, the kids had no other choice but to raise their hands in surrender. Dennis was first, then Fiona and soon Coop. The Kat commander was laughing evilly, enjoying his moment of triumphant, but unaware of a large black and green blob rising from the ground.
Coop took notice of the thing and smirked when he saw it, "Hey, fashion reject. What's dumb and stupid at the same time?"
"Meow?" He responded, confused.
"You."
Suddenly, the metal ground they stood on, suddenly sunk them inside until it was just their heads. Kat from free from Ken's hold and broke the handcuffs with his superior strength. The kids dropped their hands as they smug at the fallen leader who looked frightened at them.
'Great work, Ben." Coop smiled.
In a moment later, a black and white blob formed into Upgrade, "Glad…to help." He felt dizzy and tired, before he slumped down on the ground and changed back.
Fiona ran to him and so did the others, "Ben, are you ok?"
Ben moaned as he opened his eyes tiredly, "Yeah, just exhausted. It isn't easy lifting large ship." Like that, he closed his eyes and let his body rest.
"I guess it is." Coop chuckled.

The location of the ship was in the woods, an outskirt of Boostville. From the sky, AOI jets landed on the ground, surrounding the large ship along with some foot fighters would stay at Boostville and were immediately alerted by the crash. Having heard of it, Magister Black alerted her forces back to earth, considering the large fleet they fought was falling back.
Burt and Millie landed close to the ship and took a look on it. He got out of the space vehicle and stood close to his daughter, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. She didn't seem to notice as tears began to form in her eyes as she stared blankly at the ship.
Suddenly, the front entrance door slide open, alerting all agents. They all got into battle stations as they got out their weapons and targeted the door. Millie was one of them, forming her hands into laser cannons to blast any alien that stepped out.
But to their surprise, it wasn't aliens that came out. To their shock, surprise and gladness of their heart, Coop stepped out first, unharmed. Before the kid knew it, he was embraced into a hug by his sister.
"Coop, you're alive!" She cheered as she lifts him off the ground and swung him left and right.
"Um, Millie…getting dizzy." Coop breathed out.
Millie blushed out of embarrassment and let his go, "Sorry about that."
"Welcome back to the living, Coop." Burt said as he embraced his son momentarily before wiping a tear from his eye. He then let go of Coop and gave him a stern look, "But when we get home, you're in a whole lot of trouble."
Coop found it hard to respond to that, "Um…i…we stop the invasion." Coop gestured to the door, shifting the subject away. Everyone, including the agents watched as Kat held and apprehended, handcuffed Kat Commander and Ken. Along with him, Fiona, Ben and Dennis followed.
Old Lady Munson rudely walked through the agents and marched towards Fiona. Her great X5 niece gulped in fear in what she was going to do. Ben was all ready for another rematch with her as already, his hand was over the watch. However, Old lady Munson hugged her, "Don't you ever scare me like that." She spoke caring with a soft voice.
"I'm sorry aunt Munson; I just thought I should help." Fiona looked apology to her.
Seeing the look on her face, Old lady Munson cracked a soft smile, "Well, I can't blame you for that. The thrill of adventure runs through our family's veins. I'm sure my brother is looking down on you with a smile and is proud of you."
"Thank you." Fiona smiled, wiped a tear from her eyes and embraced her great aunt to a hug.
From a few meters, Dennis and Ben watched with a satisfied smile on their faces.
"Well, all great and ends well, don't you agree Dennis?" Ben glanced at Dennis.
"Yep, nothing can possibly go wrong."
Suddenly, a large shadow, in the size of a ship, casted upon them. Everyone looked up and saw a long space ship with the Kat Nebula face at the front. The side screen at the side of the screen turned on and revealed the face of Kat's girlfriend aka Dr.K.
"Humans, stand down and surrender the humans called Ben Tennyson and Coop Burtonburgur."
"Or what?!" Coop snapped.
Dr.K cocked a grin, "Or this." She pressed a button which opened underneath the ship and a large alien landed on the ground. The alien stood up straight, fully revealing itself as a Way Big look alike. The only difference was that the part of Way Big that had red was pink and a Kat Nebula insignia was at the chest.
Ben stared at the Way Big and smug, "So what, it's only one Way Big."
The screen went blank for a second before it showed a video of multiple Kat Nebula ships all over the world. Each ship opened, releasing aliens like Cannonbolt, Stinkfly, Heatblast and many others on the earth. The aliens were every single important place and capital of the world.
"How is this possible?" Magister Black stared at the screen, for the first time, dumbstruck, "We had the earth secured from intruders."
Ken chuckled, "That can be congratulated by my wife." Everyone stared at the alien as he continued, "We already planned everything out, and all we had to do was distract you. My wife hacked into your earth defense system, allowing us to gain access while you fought our army."
"But that doesn't explain how my aliens are there!" Ben pointed angrily at the screen as it showed more footage of his aliens attacking.
"You can thank my son." Ken smirked proudly at him, "Infiltrating your trust quite easily and downloading some the aliens watch was pure genius."
Everyone, including the agents gasped in shock from the news. They had trust Kat and now he betrayed them. Millie was the most shock, not believing the words they said. Kat just as shock as everyone, but no one took notice of it. Rather, they all stared at him with deadly glares.
"KAT!" Coop yelled at the top of his voice. In most hatred, he pounced on top of Kat, knocking him hard to the ground, "You traitor!"
"I didn't have a hand in this." Kat protested, "I'm being framed." He looked to Millie with sad eyes, "You believe me, right?"
Millie turned her head from him, not sure about facing his big eyes, "I-I don't know." She began to cry and flew off with a warning. Burt cried out to Millie but she already left.
Ben then stepped forward, "We can still stop them, we can't give up."
"Actually we can." Magister Black sighed sadly.
"NO WE CAN'T! We can stop them, I know we can!"
The screen on the ship came back on and revealed Dr.K, "Listen to your superior, human. If you try and fight back, I've been ordered by my Commander to command the clones to destroy this earth. However, I will pull back this command and let you're earth be safe, in exchange for the complete surrender of Coop Burtonburgur and Ben Tennyson, along with My Commander freedom and Ken."
Coop and the others were frozen in shock. It seems the Kat Nebula has the war. In one hand they could fight back, but that's means they'll be putting millions of people's life in danger and at the other they will fail either way. They knew what had to be done, but no could muster the word to say it.
"We can't give up!" Coop cried out, "I won't let this furballs win!"
Before Coop could say anymore, Madame Black got to his level and stared into his depressed eyes, "I'm sorry, Coop, but this is a battle we've lost." Just from the sound of her voice, he could tell she was finding hard to say it all.
"Listen to her, human." Kat Commander said as AOI agents removed the handcuff off his hands. He smirked, pleased at work and flexed his hands, "And don't worry about rotting in space. I have something much stall for you and Tennyson."

Kat Nebula prison ships landed on the ground, sending AOI agents into the ships. The earth was finally under the control of the Nebula Empire. Among them were Magister Black as she was handcuff and sent into one of the prison ship. Her head was down in shame, knowing she had no other choice but to surrender.
Ben and Coop were forced into a space pod and their hands and legs bond together. Ben had tried fighting back, but knew it was no need. He simple snarled at the aliens as they locked him into the pod and Coop in the other pod.
The Kat Commander stood proudly with a grin. Kat was taken away by his parents to their home planet, while Fiona and the others were forced to watch as their friends, Coop and Ben were held into the pods, both glaring at the ruler of the empire.
"Let it be known that even earth's greatest forces, Coop Burtonburgur and Ben Tennyson were no match against the might that is the Nebula Empire." The Kat Commander proclaimed, "Since they have proved themselves too dangerous to be remained in jail, there shall be sent to the darkness of space to either die of hunger or taste."
"NOOOOO!" Fiona and Dennis cried.
However, their words only made the Commander to grin greatly, "Send them away." He commanded. As ordered, the pods rocket off the ground and headed off to space, leaving earth in the great force that is the Kat Nebula.

I know you all are angry about the ending, but it had to be this way. I wanted the story should have a twist to make it more interesting. If you've watched Ben10: Omniverse then you'll know that this chapter and the other one is inspired by the episode, Frogs of war part 1 and 2. I'll have the next chapter up as soon as I can, until then please review nicely, but no flames.
