The authoress hid behind Mika, who sighed. "Kuro-sama, it won't help if you don't face the readers."
"No... do you know how long it's been since I updated? " The authoress stage whispered.
Mika shook her head, then pulled a calander out of her pocket. She flipped back to the last update and blinked. "Damn. You're on your own." She said, then flash-stepped over to the seats where Tenshi was currently seated, talking to the Akatsuki members that weren't playing.
The authoress glared after her, mumbling about how she was just like her creator, before she turned to look sheepishly at the readers. "Hi readers. Sorry I've not updated in almost a year. I had a severe case of emotional constipation, and I reeeeaaally couldn't think of questions that would fit the theme for this story. So yeah... let's get started on round two?"
The authoress turned towards the Akatsuki and the Espada on stage. The others blinked at her.
"This is what your shitty creator looks like?" Hidan whispered to Tenshi, his face twisted in a scowl.
Tenshi glared back, pulling out her brush and whacking him with it. "Hey! Don't talk about Authoress-sama like that!" She was about to continue with her beating when the authoress gestured for her to stop.
"It's fine, Tenshi." She said with a sly grin creeping onto her face. With a snap of her fingers, Hidan was wearing a Barbie costume, makeup and all. He blinked, then looked down at the horrendously pink dress with matching pumps. He sputtered in anger for a moment before he glared at the authoress.
"The fuck is this shit?!" He yelled.
The authoress smiled sweetly. "It's nothing but a dress. And you're going to be wearing it for the rest of this round." Her shit-eating grin shined brightly as she turned to head back to her throne room, aka her bedroom where she creates her masterpieces (her fanfiction). "I'll be back." She said and left in a wisp of black vapor.
Hidan waited until he was sure she was gone until he scoffed. "Like that bitch is gonna make me wear these shitty clothes."
Tenshi stared. "But you don't have your regular clothes..."
He smirked at her. "And?"
"Eww!" She scrunched her nose up. "No one wants to see you naked, Hidan!"
"Who said that's what I meant?" He grinned.
She gave him a deadpan stare. "Shut up. You can't take those off anyway. Authoress said so."
"Tch. Watch me." He said and reached to pull off the dress. It didn't budge.
"Wha-?" Hidan started tugging harder when another piece of ceiling fell and hit him over the head.
"Didn't I tell you you can't take it off until the next round?" The authoress's voice came out of nowhere.
Hidan opened his mouth, probably to cuss up a storm, but Kakuzu interjected, using his thread to sow the immortal's mouth. "Shut up. You're wasting game time." The miser growled and moved back to his own seat.
Tenshi blinked at him and turned to Deidara, who had moved to sit in the row in front of them. "Is he always like that?" She whispered.
Deidara shrugged. "Only when money's involved, far as I know."
Tenshi nodded slowly, glancing wearily at the miser before she stood, hopping over the rest of the rows of seats onto the stage and made her way over to the podium. "Alright then, let's start round two!" Tenshi said with a clap of her hands.
"Up next is Harribel Tia and Kisame Hoshigaki!" Mika said, appeaing beside Tenshi.
The two mentioned came up to the podium and waited for the question. Mika flipped the card to show the question. "There are seven answers for this question. What are some telltale signs of lying?"
Kisame's hand shot forward and hit the buzzer first. "Avoiding eye contact. "
The number one answer turned over, reading "eye movements" for 38 points.
"Will your team pass or play?" Tenshi asked.
With a quick check from his team, Kisame said, "Play."
Mika nodded and went over to the Akatsuki's podium.
A/n: Sorry I have to cut it off here, but I wanted to get something posted after such a long wait. :/ I'm not sure when I can do something more cuz I'm doing this from my phone, so...
See y'all next time
