Kindness ch. 5

Hinata has been floating on cloud 9 since her date with Naruto. She actually kissed him and he kissed her back. His lip were surprisingly soft and the more that she thought about them, the more she wanted to feel the on hers. Konan noticed that her little sister had an extra bounce in her step as she walked into the kitchen. Hinata happily made her cereal when she felt Konan staring at her.

"What?" Hinata asked uncomfortable with the staring.

"Nothing, it's just nice to see you happy. I'm guessing that Naruto-san has something to do with it" Konan said smirking.

Hinata blushes and she doesn't ask Konan's question. Not that she need Hinata to verbally answer her. It was written all over her face. Konan giggles when the doorbell rings. Konan goes to open the door and it was her friends Yahiko and Nagato. Konan blushes when she sees him. She might not admit it but she has a huge crush on Yahiko.

Hinata always teases her about it but Konan still denies that she has feelings for him. Yahiko is 5'10 with slightly tan skin, spikey orange hair that kinda reminds Hinata of Naruto in a way, and chocolate brown eyes. Nagato is 6 feet tall with pale skin, shoulder length fiery red hair, and purple eyes. Yahiko is a pretty cool guy and works at an orphanage.

He and Nagato grew in an orphanage since they was born. They never knew who their parents were but it didn't make them bitter. Yahiko is a very outspoken and caring person but he does brag a lot. He does it to impress Konan. Nagato is a very shy person but when he opens up, he is a very cool person. Nagato likes to joke around.

He has a crush on Konan but he knows that Konan likes Yahiko and wouldn't see him in a romantic way. Hinata knows of his crush on his sister and there wasn't much that she could do for her friend. Yahiko and Nagato are like the older brothers that she never had and it hurts her that she couldn't help him.

"Hey Hina-chan" Nagato said ruffling her hair.

"Hey Nagato-nii, what are you guys doing up this early?" Hinata asked curious.

It was 9 in the morning and Yahiko is never up this early. He's not much of a morning person and Nagato has to hit him with a bat to wake him up.

"I wanted to see my favorite little sister" Yahiko said wrapping his arm around Hinata's shoulder.

"I'm your only little sister" Hinata said rolling her eyes.

"That's why you're my favorite" Yahiko said grinning.

Hinata giggled a little before removing his arm. She put the bowl in the sink when Hanabi came out in a really skimpy out that barely covered anything. Nagato and Yahiko looked away and Konan was trying really hard to contain her temper. Hanabi was always pulling this crap every morning and she thinks that she knows everything. No one can tell her anything. Hanabi has to be right all the damn time.

"Hanabi, what the hell? What the hell are you wearing?" Konan asked frowning.

"Clothes, obliviously" Hanabi said rolling her eyes.

Konan smacked her over the head.

"Don't get smart, little girl. Go and change into some decent before I catch a case" Konan said with her hands on her hips.

"What's wrong with what I got on? Yahiko-kun, tell her it's fine" Hanabi said pouting.

Yahiko looked the other way. Hanabi turned to Nagato but he suddenly took interest in the oven. She turned to Hinata but she looked the other way. Hanabi puffed out her cheeks and stormed off to her room.

"Demon child. Do you guys know that you're living with a demon child?" Yahiko asked raising an eyebrow.

"Sadly yes, she's a spoiled little brat that needs a good spanking" Konan said sighing.

"Konan-chan, don't talk about Hanabi-chan like that. She has become a bit of challenge" Hinata said folding her arms.

"A bit is an understatement for that child" Konan said frowning.

"It could be worse" Nagato said.

"How... on second thought, don't answer that" Konan asked rising up her hands.

Hanabi came out her room in a black t-shirt and jeans.

"Happy now?" Hanabi asked annoyed.

"Actually yes, hurry up before you miss the bus" Konan said ruffling Hanabi's hair.

Hanabi swatted Konan's hand away before walking out the door.

"Well, I have to go to work but Konan-chan, wanna meet up for lunch later?" Yahiko asked curious.

"Uh s-sure" Konan said blushing.

"Alright, later Hina-chan" Yahiko said kissing Hinata's forehead.

"Bye" Nagato said ruffling Hinata's hair.

They both left, leaving only Hinata and Konan. Hinata saw the sad expression on Nagato's face as he left. She didn't think that Yahiko knows about Nagato's feelings which made it worse. Konan was on cloud 9 which makes Hinata happy for her. She deserves to be happy. Konan walked into her room to change. Hinata sat on the couch when someone knocks on the door. She gets up and answers it. It was Naruto and Kimi. She was surprised to see them.

"Hi Hinata, um can I talk you?" Naruto asked blushing.

Hinata smiled. She thought it was cute that Naruto was always blushing around her.

"Sure, come in" Hinata said opening the door further.

Naruto and Kimi walked in. Naruto got a homey feeling as he walked into Hinata's home.

"What's up?" Hinata asked curious.

Naruto pulled her into the kitchen so Kimi wouldn't eavesdrop on them.

"Can Kimi stay here for a while?" Naruto asked curious.

"Why? What's going on?" Hinata asked worried.

"Nothing, I just wanna fix up Kimi's room and I want it to be a surprise. I can't do it if she with me so can she stay here for a few days, please?" Naruto asked begging.

"Sure, she can stay here. My sister won't mind her being here" Hinata said smiling.

"Thank you Hinata" Naruto said smiling.

"But you owe a date though" Hinata said kissing Naruto on the lips.

Naruto blushes like a tomato and Hinata giggles at him. He could be sooo adorable sometimes.

"O-Okay" Naruto said blushing.

Naruto had already explained to Kimi that she was going to stay with Hinata for a while before leaving.
