Chapter 17 The last of the Phoenix escaped and safe

Hermione felt herself land on solid ground, Sebastion holding her and Slightly up. She felt herself moved gently, but quickly in the dark and sensed she was at a set of stairs.

"Trust me Mum. This building is not protected by wards to keep it out of Voldemorts notice."

Hermione allowed her son to guide her down the stair, moving at a slow pace until she heard a door creak open and Felt her son release her. Soon she was standing in a potions lab, washed in bright light, blinking her eyes at the sudden intrusion of light.

She watched Harry move from behind Sebastion and sat down in a chair. "Sebastion, what the Hells were you thinking to bring us to an un-warded building. You've got Slightly's hand in your pocket and you know he will send someone to search for the wizard!"

Sebastion smiled, reflecting perfect white teeth for a moment before turning to his Mum. "You know who to call." Speaking in a silky voice that reminded her of Severus.

"Justice, come to me!" Hermione called out.

Justice appeared and looked calmly to the group while floating. "Your father is clever in this hidey hole because while I am here no one can find you. How did you know?"

Sebastion moved to a cabinet and pulled out a paste. "He said Ronald Weasley was a Protector and sure you would be involved one day. Thank Gods he was right."

Harry watched Sebastion move to Slightly, who had fallen to the floor in pain.

"Just a moment longer." Sebastion murmured, grabbing a handful of green paste and rubbed it on the stump and massaged it in, watching the seared flesh turn to normal. He patted the man on the back before pulling him up. "A pain killer and Dreamless sleep is on the menu Slightly" Moving the shorter man to a cot at the left of the room and laid him on it.

Hermione watched her son in action, putting phials to Slightly's lips and stayed watching to ensure the man fell asleep, pleased at the comfort he gave the assassin after watching such horrifying events.

Sebastion turned to the group. "The building is safe enough while Justice is here. Follow me." Leading them out of the room and opened a door next to it.

Motioning them in, Sebastion closed the door behind them and moved immediately to a dresser where several bottles of Firewhiskey sat. Breaking the cap of a bottle, he poured out three helpings in tall glasses and forced them into his mother and Harry's hand.

"Drink it." He commanded before drinking down his own glass.

Sebastion watched them do as he commanded and sat down in one of three comfortable leather chairs closing his eyes, sighing out while the fiery drink took hold.

"This scenario is not the best laid plan that my father and I thought of." He sighed out.

"All of their deaths for nothing!" Harry spat out. "Voldemort has Erin, and once he joins her that will be the end of the world."

Justice looked over to the young wizard who faced so many trials and tribulations over time. "There is one saving grace Harry Potter."

Harry looked to the ghost. "I think I could use a saving grace, Dwight. Ginny, Luna, Neville and all of them dead in an unknown clearing." Beginning to sob.

Sebastion caught Harry's eyes and slipped into his mind. "We will not be able to bury the bodies for Voldemort will have Deatheaters watching for us, knowing our compassion will compel us to do exactly that."

"Damn you for being like your father Sebastion." Harry growled out, realizing the young wizard was right and read his mind.

Justice coughed. "Erin must be willing for Voldemort to succeed. We need to act quickly before he breaks her down. You know that Voldemort uses words and can be very convincing with women, especially if he stays in his human form."

Suddenly Sebastion jumped up, flinging his robes down and pulled at his crotch for a moment before flinging the robe away from him.

Harry and Hermione watched in morbid fascination as the cloak inched its way toward the door.

Sebastion pounced on it and Hermione watched. If the circumstances were different it would almost be comical.

"Grab a large jar from the kitchen!" Sebastion panted while holding down his cloak.

Harry jumped up and ran out of the room and to the left before coming back with a large jar.

Sebastion picked up his robes and held it over the jar, shaking it until the hand fell in with a plop.

Harry immediately put the top on and watched in morbid fascination as the hand twitched, trying to crawl up the slick glass and unable to do so.

Sebastion picked up the jar and spoke to it. "That was not very Quidditch you know, grabbing a fellow by his most delicate parts."

Harry and Hermione jumped back in shock watching the hand give a two fingered salute before becoming still.

Hermione felt uncomfortable. She sensed that the hand was planning its escape.

Sebastion chuckled. "Mum, it is planning escape to rejoin its host so Voldemort can find us." Turning his attention back to the jar. "The jar is unbreakable so you will not come out until I decide." He informed the hand, which remained still.

He turned his attention back to Harry and his Mum. "It is driven to reconnect to its host so it can feel the bond of its Master. Don't worry because Slightly will not be compelled to rejoin with it."

"How do you know Sebastion?" Hermione whispered out, sickened when the hand twitched.

Sebastion evaded he question. "Trust me that I know." He watched his father die a few times while they experimented in the extinct past.

He continued. "We need to sleep and these phials contain the same dose of Dreamless Sleep potion that I gave Slightly. The Firewhiskey calmed us down and we need to rest before we plan. Justice will watch over us."

They watched a door open and Sebastion led them into the room before laying on one of three beds and took the potion. "Justice will watch over us." He murmured out before falling asleep.

Hermione looked over in question at Justice.

"Do as your son says for he is a smart man. You need the sleep and I will not leave this building and protect you." Justice murmured.

Hermione fell on the bed without question and drank the potion down and fell asleep.

Harry looked at the phial undecided for a moment before doing the same.

Justice floated over to the bed that Hermione lay sleeping in. "I will always protect you Hermione." The ghost whispered out.

The Lady of Light and the Man od Dark met at a desolate plain.

"I will have our daughter as it should have been and Earth will be cast into Darkness as it should have been years ago."

The Lady laughed. "Do not sell those that survived short. I know you cannot sense them."

The Dark man watched his wife leave cursing the fact she laughed at him. Still the best plans were laid and he would be successful in the end.
