"No! NO! NooooOOooo!" Justin howled like a little girl. Alex tried to block it out, tried listening to the hardest hard rock, plugging her ears, even weaving her hair over her hairs, all to no avail.
She stomped up the stairs indignantly. Her brother kept howling. The door flew open as the young wizard hit it. Alex scowled, "WHAT?!"
Justin lay, face-down on the couch, whining. Alex sighed, rolling her eyes. This was the worst part about him, or at least the most annoying thing... or at least the thing that annoyed her the most about him at this point in time.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He ignored her, so she struck him in the back of the head with a throw pillow.
He turned, with tear-filled eyes. Some part of her was struck by the guilt that perhaps this was bad- maybe his heart was broken again.
He stared at her, reaching towards his dear, dear little sister. Sobbing, he pointed to her with his index finger, "Splint... splinter!"
She glared at him, "SERIOUSLY!?"
She hit him with the throw pillow a few more times just to show him. Once the initial rage subsided, she let out a loud groan. Did Justin always have to fall apart over the stupidest things.
"Ugh! What are you doing?!" She snarled.
He groaned, "I got a splinter! It's excruciating!"
She huffed, "I cannot believe you! Why don't you just yank it out?"
He scoffed indignantly, withdrawing his finger behind his head protectively, "No! You can't just operate! Don't you know how dangerous it is to just pull something out of your body?!"
She smirked, "Oh yeah!" She grunted lewdly, "Just pull it on out, baby!"
Justin gasped, "Alex! This is precarious!"
She stared at him. He waited a moment, before rolling his eyes, "It means a tricky and dangerous situation!"
Alex huffed, "I knew that."
"Liar!"
"You're a liar!"
"I didn't lie about the splinter!" He showed her again. She ripped it out, "YAAAAAAAAAAA!" He tumbled down clenching his hand like it'd been sliced in half.
Alex stood annoyed, "Really?"
Justin popped up aghast, "How could you do that!?"
"It's not hard," She tossed her hair from about her ears, "You don't like pain, and I like causing you pain."
He stood up, "What's with your hair?" He saw a stray one and yanked it out.
She winced, "Yooooooooow!"
He gave her his 'oh yeah' look, "See?"
She looked shocked, then drew herself into her 'kill you' pose: arms across her chest, lip pouting, right hip cocked to the side, "What do you think you're doing?"
He smirked, "I'm showing you that's it's not okay to-" He howled as she ripped out one of his arm hairs. She blew on it.
"I made a wish!" She perkily put out.
"Was it about me?"
She smiled, and closed her eyes and nodded her head.
"Was it a nice thing?"
She shook her head.
"Figures."
"Remember when I used to pinch your arms?"
He yelped as she did so.
"Yeah! Remember when I used to sit on you?" Justin pushed his sister down to the ground and sat on her.
"UGH! Remember how you used to say 'bite me' and I did?"
Justin screamed as her teeth bit into the small of his back. He leapt up, "Okay! You win. I don't like pain, okay?!"
She laughed victoriously, but then pouted. Alex held out her hand. Justin tried lifting her up to show he was a good sport, but she moved.
"What?"
She looked around sheepishly before admitting, "I... have a splinter."
Justin sighed, sitting next to Alex. He pulled it out while telling her WAY too much information about it.
