Hey guy's I'm back again with another chapter

I stared across at Tsunade as she thought about what I said to her. "Ok I won't send Sauske, I'm going to send to teams to Suna and I want you and Kyuubi to be on them." I sighed and slapped my hand to my face in aggravation." No send the Uchiha because I've already told you I'm not going." I reached down and pulled up my pants leg revealing the metal brace on my leg. "I'm not a ninja anymore, I'm not going to get in a fight with Itachi Uchiha again because I can guarantee that he's going to be there waiting for me." Tsunade opened her mouth to argue but Jairya placed his hand on her shoulder cutting her off."Listen to the kid, Itachi's target is the Kyuubi; Itachi knows that anywhere Naruto is the Kyuubi will be there as well. There better off here where you and I can keep an eye on them." I snorted in derision at the thought of them actually trying to keep an on me for once. I looked over at Kyuubi and could tell that she was thinking along the same lines I was. "Good luck with that you've done such a good job over the years I shouldn't have anything to worry about."

"Well while you try and figure out exactly what you're going to do I have someone I need to go see. "Kyuubi placed her hand on my shoulder and helped me get to my feet. We walked out the door all of the rookies minus Sauske, Ino and Sakura were still waiting on us, they all had a look of expectancy on their faces. I couldn't stop the goan that escaped my lips, I didn't want to deal with these people. Lee came bouncing up to me he hadn't really changed much he was still wearing that awful green jump suit and orange leg warmers, the only real change was the green flak jacket. "NARUTO MY MOST YOUTHFUL FRIEND IT IS SO GOOD TO SEE ARE ALL SO THRILLED TO SEE YOU BACK IN THE VILLAGE." I winced at the sound of his voice, I wondered what drove the boy to yell and shout about everything all the time. I suppose I could count myself lucky that Gai wasn't here; that they weren't hugging each other in that Kami awful sunset." Ok lee stop bouncing and yelling and tell me what you want."

Lee at least had enough sense to look sheepishly as he stopped bouncing up and down. "Forgive my unyouthfulness, myself and the others were hoping that you would join us to celebrate your return to the village." I felt like pounding my head against the wall, I was never going to get a moment of peace in this village. "What makes you think that I would want to do anything with you?"

"Come on Naruto were your friends, were happy your back we just want to celebrate you don't have to be a jerk." I shook my head as Kiba took a seat on nearby table Akamaru lying down next to him, what got to me was that arrogant smirk on his face. "You think I'm being a jerk ha that's funny, I haven't quite started just yet." I grabbed the handle of Za'roc and in one swift clean motion cut through the legs of the table; He fell to the ground in a jumble of broken wood and twisted limbs. He began to reach for his weapons pouch hoping to retaliate; but stopped and held his hands up in surrender when he found Zar'roc under his throat. "That was me being a jerk in case you hadn't realized."

"My friends that's a really good Joke. The council stuck me in a cell for six months after I brought the Uchiha back. None of you did a thing about it." I pulled my blade away from Kiba's throat and stepped into the middle of the room. I looked each one of my so called friends in the eye. Kiba, Lee, Shikamaru, Choji, Tenten, Neji, Shino and Hinata. Each one of them had a remorseful look on their faces as I spoke."None of you bothered to speak on my behalf as we stood in the council chambers and they decided to banish me." I kept a loose grip on Zar'roc as I brought it around in a wide arc aiming for Lee's head. The boy jumped back quickly barely avoiding decapitation; his speed hadn't diminished at all over the years. The rest of the rookie's took up a defensive stance most of them with a weapon in their hands. " Not one of you did anything as I was literally tossed out those gates. None of you even began to look at me or even treat me like a friend until after I beat Garaa. I was always the dead last the loser; Someone for you to pick on and call names. Even when we graduated and I began to show my true skills, the only one who acknowledged me was Ino."

I placed Zar'roc back in it's sheath and walked back over to Kyuubi. "Let me ask you all a question? How many of you have been tasked by the council to keep an eye on me while I'm here. How many of you have been ordered to kill me if the council begins to believe I'm getting out of hand." Several of them looked ashamed, the others suddenly found the floor very interesting." That's what I thought, your all a bunch of hypocrites; Kyuubi were done here." Kyuubi nodded and placed her hand on my shoulder. There was a flash of light and we appeared outside of Hokage tower.

I walked over to where Blackfire was waiting patiently, the villagers were eyeing her cautiously and giving her a wide berth. Tales of what she did to the shinobi spread through the village rather quickly I assumed. I grabbed her bridle and Kyuubi helped me climb into her saddle. "I have to do this alone Kyuubi, enjoy yourself but try to stay out of trouble."She nodded as she patted Blackfire's head." Be careful and try to stay off your feet as much as possible."I smiled and nodded once before pulling on Blackfire's reigns to get her trotting down the street. We made it through the village with no issues, the villagers stayed clear of us. I imagined Kyuubi's romp earlier made them think twice about doing something stupid. I climbed off Blackfire just outside of the torture and interrogation building. "For once Blackfire listen to me, please stay here and don't cause any problems."She snorted and shook her head, her maine flapping wildly."You keep thinking that, but one day you're going to bite someone and they are going to bite back a lot harder."I rubbed her head before walking up the steps and through the door of the building.

Screaming, it was a familiar sound I heard many times before when I came here looking for Inoichi. I followed the sound down the hall to the first room, there was a large two way window on the wall for people to look in. Anko and Ibiki were standing in the room with a bloody man tied to a chair the symbol for the village hidden in the stone tied around his head. I arrived just in time to see Anko stab a kunai into the man's leg. I winced slightly as he let out a piercing scream. I reached up and tapped the glass causing both of them to turn around quickly. Anko's eyes widened but Ibiki didn't look surprised to see me in the least. Ibiki spoke quickly to Anko before making his way out of the room.

"Naruto I expected you to be here a few hours ago." I nodded and rubbed the back of my head sheepishly." Yeah well I planned to be here a lot sooner but there were a few things I had to take care of first, is he here." Ibiki nodded and made a motion with his hand for me to follow him." We caught two rock ninja's along the border last night Inoichi is working on the second." Ibiki led me into the room where Inoichi was working. The pale blonde man was standing over the other rock nin his hand placed on the man's head. Inoichi's eye's were closed while the rock nin's had rolled into the back of his head. I knew how the mind walk worked I'd seen it done enough time, I also knew it was a bad idea to interrupt one. Ino used to tell me that if you weren't careful it was easy to fry the victims mind before you found the needed information.

We didn't have to wait long before Inoich finished and turned around to greet us."Naruto its been a long time". The man tried to keep his features neutral but I could tell he was just as uneasy about the upcoming conversation as I was. "Your right it has is there somewhere we can sit and talk privately." Inoichi spoke quickly to Ibiki before leading me out the room and into another. We sat at a large wooden table in the center of the room; Inoichi set a hot cup of tea in front of me before taking his own seat. We sat for a long time in silence, neither one of us knowing quite where to begin." They told me you were living in Kiri running a store of all things." I looked up at Inoichi from the tea I had been staring into and nodded."Yea its nice you would like, I sell a little bit of everything I even sell a few flowers from time to time, nothing like your shop but I try." We fell into an awkward silence after that, I had so much I wanted to say and ask the man but I couldn't even begin to know where to start. "Naruto I just wanted to say I'm sorry about…." I held up my hand and cut him off mid sentence, this was one person I didn't want or need apologizing me." Inoichi I didn't blame you then I don't blame you know, if I could have chosen back then between having you in the council chamber or having you look after Ino, I would have chosen her every time. Her safety is more important to me than my own." He looked honestly relieved when I told him that, like a large burden had been lifted off his shoulders" Thank you Naruto."

I nodded before continuing on. "You weren't my father Inoichi I never expected you to be, or even try to act like you were. Back then I was just grateful that you didn't kill me when Ino and I told you and Izumi that we were dating." Inoich actually allowed a small smile to adorn his face as I spoke. "I think she would have been very upset if had killed you, she was very fond of you at the time. You made her happy despite what everyone else thought of you so I figured you couldn't have been all bad." I couldn't help but laugh what he was talking about seemed like a life time ago a time before everything went to complete shit.

"You know you should have killed him right, that boy should have never walked back through the gates." Inoichi eye's hardened, the humor that had been there previously now replaced by anger. " I know that now sir but back then I wanted him to suffer more. I should have known better but I didn't want him to have a quick death. I never expected them to just blame it on the seal messing up and throw me in jail for harming him. Can we talk about her?" Inoichi sighed before downing his cup of tea in one swallow. He got out of his chair and made his way towards the door. " I don't want to talk about this here, come by the house later tonight I know Izumi would love to see you." Inoichi walked out the door leaving me to my thoughts.

Ok that's the end for this chapter. This is the longest chapter I have written so far so I hope it appeases some of you that have been asking for longer chapters for a while. Now then if you been wondering about what the main pairing in this story was going to be it should be obvious now. Now then for those of you who were wondering why Naruto is so mad at Sauske that should be obvious now, if it's not I suggest you go back and reread chapter two. Now then onto serious business, I'm thinking about adding a second pairing to Naruto I haven't quite made up my mind yet so I want you to help me out. Feel free to say now I have no problem just keeping it as a single pairing but if you say yes I want you to tell me which girl you would like to see and why. It can't be Sakura, Tenten, Hinata, Tsunade, Kushina, or Kyuubi I refuse to do those. If you want it to be Kurenai, Anko, Yuugao, or Hana it needs to be a very, very good reason why I should. Any other girl in the Naruto verse is fair game. I will add up votes and tell you a winner in two weeks. If you don't want to post you vote as a review feel free to pm me. One vote per person.
