Trelex pointed his tri-spear at the strange brown-and-black creature. Bright yellow electricity crackled and sparked between the ends of the three blades. "Alright, buddy, it's two against one, are you sure you still want to do this?"

The creature replied by opening its face and screeching, with its long, slimy tentacles waving wildly.

"Yeah, I figured you might say something like that." A huge bolt of lightning erupted from the end of Trelex's weapon. The creature made no move to dodge the attack and was struck head-on. In an instant, the burn marks disappeared and it looked good as new.

"Aw crud. This isn't going to be easy, is it?" asked Aroda.

"Nope," Trelex replied succinctly.

The creature began to walk towards the two Toa. Long before it could reach them, however, two huge hands shot up through the street, and clapped the creature between them. A loud CRUNCH emanated from within the closed hands.

"Try healing that, Rahi breath!" Aroda taunted.

"Hey, nice job!" Trelex clapped Aroda on the back. "I think you got him!"

"Shucks," the Toa of Stone shrugged, "It was nothing."

Suddenly the stone hands shattered, sending pieces of stone flying in every direction. Trelex ducked behind his shield while Aroda dodged chunks of debris. Where the hands had been, the hideous creature once again stood completely unscathed.

"I didn't mean it when I told you to try healing that!" Aroda complained. "Can't you understand sarcasm?" The creature only screeched and continued its advance towards the two Toa. Trelex watched his seemingly invincible enemy as it grew ever closer to them. Surprisingly, it was walking towards them, rather than pouncing upon them. This thing was obviously in no hurry to destroy the two Toa, which was, as far as Trelex was concerned, perfectly fine by him. Right now, he wanted to stay alive as long as was he possibly could.

"Look, Aroda," Trelex told his friend, "This isn't going to work. Its healing everything we throw at it. We need to run and get help."

"No way!" said Aroda, bending down and digging his hands into the street, "We can – HUP! – beat this thing!" He grunted as he tore a large chunk of the street from the ground and hefted it above his head. "We gotta do something to it that it can't heal!"

"Yeah, good luck with that!" Trelex shot back as Aroda threw the boulder up into the air. As it arced down towards the creature, Aroda focused his elemental energies on it, and small spikes began to protrude from the surface of the rock. The creature did nothing to avoid the falling stone and was crushed underneath the spiky stone.

"See, what did I tell you?" Aroda said proudly, gesturing towards the pile of broken rock that stood atop the creature. "It couldn't possibly heal that."

"Look again, buddy," Trelex said, "It's getting up again."

Aroda looked back at the pile of rocks and saw the creature rising from it, halfway through the process of un-flattening itself. "Eww," he cringed, "That looks just plain disturbing!"

The creature began to walk towards them again. It paused and looked down at its leg. pulled a bit of stone from its thigh. Immediately, the hole began to heal over until there was no sign that the creature's armor had ever been pierced.

"Interesting," Trelex thought, "So it can't heal if there's something stuck in it." He tapped Aroda on the shoulder. "Did you see what it just did?" he asked.

Aroda was confused. "Uh, it pulled a rock out of its leg. So what?"

"Aroda, when you threw that spiky boulder at it, a bit of stone got stuck in its leg, and it couldn't heal until it pulled the rock out. It can't heal a plugged-up wound!"

Aroda grinned. "Now I see where you're going here!" He ripped another boulder from the rock beneath the street and threw it at the creature. When it was about halfway to the creature, Aroda made the boulder shatter into hundreds of sharp stones. The creature deflected some of them away with its staff, but most of them hit their mark and embedded themselves into its body. The creature staggered for a second from the impact, and Trelex and Aroda were convinced it would fall at any moment. It stayed on its feet, however, and proceeded to pull the pieces of fragmented stone from its body.

Aroda stepped backwards, a shocked expression spread across his Mask of Foresight. "How the heck is it still standing?"

Trelex didn't bother to answer. He had had enough. "Darn it, stay injured!" He yelled as he ran at the approaching creature.

"Trelex, you're gonna get yourself killed!" Aroda shouted after his friend, but his cries were in vain.

Trelex threw his shield at the creature like a Kanoka disk. The shield struck the creature hard in the face and ricocheted back to Trelex. He caught it and stabbed the creature in the chest with his tri-spear, the three blades buried deep into the creatures body. He sent a massive surge of electricity through the weapon, causing the creature to spasm wildly and screech in pain. He kept the surge going until he was nearly drained of energy. As he cut off the flow of electricity, he looked up at his enemy to see if he had actually done anything. To his dismay, the creature looked back down at him, glaring wit a look of malice in its eyes.

"Oh, crud," was all Trelex could force out of his mouth. Both his power and his body were exhausted, and he doubted he would be able to fight back. He was leaning his entire body weight on his weapon; he was too tired to stand up on his own.

The creature wrenched the tri-spear from its chest, jabbing the Toa of Electricity hard under the chin with the blunt end of the weapon. He collapsed, and his tri-spear clattered to the ground beside him. He tried to get up, but was so exhausted he could barely move. The creature raised its staff above its head, ready to sink its blade into the Toa of Electricity's chest. Trelex tried to blast it with lightning, but all that came from his hands were a few weak bands of electricity that snapped between his fingers.

"I guess this is it," he thought to himself. He looked his enemy in the eye as it prepared to end his existence.

"Trelex!" Aroda cried. Trelex ignored him. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the Toa of Stone running towards him. He kept his eyes locked on his enemy's.

"Bring it, Rahi breath." He said defiantly.

No sooner than the words had left his mouth, the street under the creature's feet tilted backwards, dumping the creature onto its back. Before it could regain its bearings and get back on its feet, a massive spike shot up from the ground and impaled the creature through its chest. The creature flailed its limbs helplessly as it tried to get itself off of the spike, but its effort was in vain.

Aroda ran to Trelex and knelt next to him. "

"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for the save, Brother." He stuck out his fist. Aroda bumped it with his own.

"You Toa make me sick sometimes with all your camaraderie," said a deep voice. They looked in the direction it had come from, and were shocked by what they saw.

The first thing that struck the Toa about this being was his height. He was easily four Bio tall, well above the height of a Toa. He wore a large , strange-looking mask, with long, wing-like projections and a tube-like structure running around it. His legs were like those of a Rahi mammal, with the ankle raised off the ground, giving the appearance of a second, backwards knee. At the end of those legs were long talons that looked like slice through protodermis. He was covered from head to toe in thick, dark blue, spiky armor didn't reveal any organic tissue. To top off his intimidating appearance, he had four arms, each of which ended in hands with talons just like those on the feet.

Aroda and Trelex were speechless. They stared open-mouthed at the being as he made his way towards the creature impaled on the stone spike. The creature was trying to pull itself up the length of the stone column. It was making slow, steady progress. He examined Aroda's handiwork in silence for a few seconds, and then said, "Not bad. It's not easy to defeat a Rahkshi of Quick Healing. I'm impressed."

"Uh," Aroda didn't know what to say. "Thanks?"

"You're that four-armed being that spooked Verau the other day!" Trelex blurted as Aroda helped him to his feet. He was still very weak, and had to lean against the Toa of Stone for support.

The being turned to Trelex, amused. "The 'four-armed monster' has a name, Toa of Electricity." He turned back to the struggling Rahkshi. The creature saw him approaching and started to pull itself up with a little more urgency. "I am called Durdrax, and yes, your friend Verau saw me watching your headquarters from atop the Bank of Gundaru Nui. In fact, I have been watching you and your little Toa team for a very long time."
