Hey guy's back again with another chapter, now then a few things to address as for the pairings it'll be kurotsuchi, she'll be introduced in next chapter or the chapter after, a lot of people asked for Kyuubi. You know I never really put a lot of thought into that pairing I've read several stories where it's been done but never thought about doing it myself. If you really want to see it I can make it happen but she will be the last one added to the pairing. Now then let me make something very clear I'm not going to have Naruto all of a sudden just break out and start killing children for thrills or revenge. I'm not that kind of person, I believe that you shouldn't place blame on a child for what the parent has done. If that's the kind of thing you're in to you need to find something else to read or at the very least get a psych evaluation. I had a question about Naruto's skills so let me lay it out like this, His healing isn't what it used to be obviously, he still has his strength stamina and skill, but it's kind of hard to use when you can't move like a ninja needs to. He can still use his ninjutsu, kage bushin, rasengan etc. However like I said he's injured right now, plus he doesn't feel the need to show off to these people. Right now he's only showing a little bit of Kenjutsu but later on in the story he'll start showcasing other things. Now on with the story. I found myself with several hours to kill before inoichi finished at T&I. It was a nice day in the Village despite the villagers so I decided to sit just outside the building and read. I reached into my vest and pulled out my copy of tales of a gutsy ninja. The book was old, worn and falling apart but it was the most important thing in the world to me. I opened it and there just inside the cover were the words property of Minato Namikaze. Just above the words was a picture carefully taped to the page. The picture was of Myself, Hiashi Tousan and Hinata standing outside the academy on graduation day. I smiled as I turned several more pages and began reading. I managed to read for about ten to fifteen minutes before I felt someone staring down at me. I didn't bother looking up, I didn't need to, to know who was staring down at me. I watched the girl grow up, I spent enough time around her to know when she was glaring down at me. "what can I do for you Hanabi". She didn't speak she seemed content to just glare down at me for the moment. I snapped the book shut placing it saftely back in my vest before looking up at the pale eyed Hyuuga. "Speak Lassie speak, I have better things to do than sit here and play glare games with you" Her eyes widened and she lost her composure for just a second before her eyes narrowed into a glare again." The Hyuuga elders require a meeting with you, follow me." The black haired girl turned and walked away, she didn't even look back; she expected me to follow without question. I watched her walk about four blocks before she realized I wasn't following her. She came back over to me, she betrayed no emotions but I could tell she was angry. "Did you hear what I said?" I smirked it was always fun to get under a normally stoic Hyuuga's skin. "I heard you now I'm waiting for you to figure out that I don't care. You don't just demand things from me I know Hiashi raised you better than that. Ask me again but this time do it right."Hanabi growled but asked me politely to please follow her to the Hyuuga compound. I looked past Hanabi to where Kyuubi was standing a few feet away watching the scene with intrest. "What do you think?" Hanabi in turned in surprise to watch as Kyuubi walked over to us. Kyuubi reached down grabbed my arm and helped me get to my feet. "I think we should go it's always fun to watch you get under those old bastards skin." I smirked again and told Hanabi to lead the way. It didn't take long for us to reach the compound, many of the other Hyuuga's that were there seemed genuinely happy to see me. We stopped outside the council chamber doors and I prepared myself mentally to deal with whatever those old bastards were trying to do to me now. Hanabi pushed open the door we walked in and I got a very big surprise. Sitting where the old bastards spent years trying to find a way to get rid of me now sat a group of fresh young faces. I recognized each and every person sitting at the table. Each one had at some point watched out for me, helped keep me out of the hands of the old council. Not only that each one at some point had served as a ninja for the village, they knew how things worked or at least how they were supposed work. The biggest surprise was the fact that Hinata was sitting in the middle of them. The person sitting before me now was not the same stuttering mess I faced in Kiri. She studied me as I studied her no sign of shyness or weakness. She was completely cool and confident. "What the hell is going on here?" HInata smiled as she got up from her chair and walked around the table to stand in front of me. "Naruto a lot of things are different now, the old council had been over stepping their bounds for a long time you know this. When they executed tousan I knew it was time for a change. I knew that I could never challenge them the way I was so I worked hard to become stronger and more confident. We took back the Hyuuga clan from those tyrants. We have turned in into something we can finally be proud of. One of your dreams was to change the way of the Hyuuga clan well we've done that Neji if you would." I cut my eyes to the left where an anbu appeared out of the wall. Neji reached up and removed his mask revealing is face but with one distinct difference the caged bird seal was gone. "So back in Kiri all of that was just an act." Hinata nodded the smile never leaving her face. "Yes it was a ploy to deceive you in case a fight broke out. Lady Tsunade felt that if you still saw me as weak and timid you wouldn't view me as a threat. You would be surprised and hence easier to take down." I smiled back at her and then began laughing outright; the smile dropped off her face and she looked at me in confusion, the others in the room looked at me strangely as well. "Congratulations HInata you have succeeded in surprising me and all it took was the death of tousan for you to find the courage to finally fight back." Hinata grimaced as I spoke shame filling her eye's, she turned and walked back around the desk retaking her seat. "I'm sorry Naruto, you spent so much time trying to build my confidence and make me stronger but it didn't make a difference until it was to late. I'm sorry that I couldn't save our father." Hinata pushed a letter with the Hokage's seal on it across the table towards me. " I wanted you to know that the Hyuuga clan changed but that isn't the only reason I asked for you to come here. We received these orders from Lady Tsunade about an hour ago." I picked up the letter and opened it. I read it, read it again and then read it again not quite able to believe the words written on the page." Is this some kind of fucking joke." Hinata didn't speak she couldn't even meet my eyes, she just shook her head negatively. Kyuubi turned towards me curiosity and concern in her eyes. "What is it Naruto what did Tsunade say." I let a growl of anger slip past my lips as I continued to read the paper again and again. I gripped the page so hard it began to wrinkle and tear. Kyuubi placed her hand on my shoulder and shook me gently to gain my attention. "Naruto what does it say." I stared at Kyuubi's eyes for several moments before turning back to the page read: I Tsunade Senju Godaime Hokage do hereby order that a squad of no less than five ninja will be assigned to guard duty of one Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze until such time as the threat against him is neutralized. Kyuubi snatched the paper out of my hands and reread it several times. She glared at the offending object like she wanted it to burst into flames and after a few seconds of her glaring at it; it did burst into flames. She let the page burn in her hands for a few seconds before allowing the ash to fall to the floor."Have all the people in this village lost their damn minds. Did you all forget who I am and what I can do. I'm pretty sure I can protect him better than anyone else in this village." HInata finally met Kyuubi's gaze but she shivered just a little, Hinata may have gained confidence over the years but looking eye to eye with an angry demoness would make anyone afraid. "L-L-Lady T-Tsunade feels that Naruto should have all the protection he can." "What makes you so sure we'd even agree to this imbecilic order." Hinata produced another letter, this time however it bore the seal of the Mizukage." We have assurance from lady Mizukage that you will follow our orders." Kyuubi picked up the other letter and read it before setting it ablaze as well." She is telling the truth Naruto." I growled in anger again, currently I was a citizen of Kiri on loan to the leaf village. I had my orders and I would never betray them, however once this was all over I was pretty sure I wouldn't be going home to Kiri. Cut well guys that's it for this chapter.
