Chapter 20

"Yui, I can be your friend. I can help you, please. You deserve better than -him-." Veye's voice kept repeating through Yui's dreams, begging her not to let her meet the demise she had the night before. Different scenario's of last night had went through her mind, sometimes the blonde ended up killing Laito, running away and leaving him in the forest to die. Afterwards she was living a normal life again, but it wasn't quite a happy ending without -him-. In others, Veye had found out Laito was a vampire, she had killed Veye and in one her and Laito had made love afterwards beside the dead body in the forest. It kept going on over and over, one a little different from the last, the dead girl's offers to help always so prominent- but she didn't want her help, right?

Yui woke up in a cold sweat, her hair damp and body shaking, clutching the pink comforter in her hands as she sat up. Why did she have such vivid dreams? Maybe it was guilt over what her and Laito had done, killing that girl. She looked down as her eyes glazed over. Would she ever be -okay- with this? Maybe not, but it was reality at this point. Learn to deal with it, or give up. A lot of her life had come to be like that, deal with it, or give up.

By the looks of things it was still day time, the faint sunlight seeping in through the pink curtains. It was bright and began to hurt her eyes, having become so used to the darkness of the night. Maybe she'd even become a vampire herself from allowing Laito to bite her all the time. Was that even possible? The girl had never thought to ask. The Sakamaki brother's were probably still asleep, so Yui decided to get a shower to clean up, possibly to keep her mind off of the dreams and the overwhelming guilt she felt.

Dropping her night gown to the bathroom floor, the now bare girl walked into the shower, turning it on and savouring the hot water. It felt comforting to her, the next best thing to her vampire lover holding her in his arms- which he'd so rarely do unless something sexual was coming out of it. The water streamed through her fair colored hair, dripping down her breasts and further. Yui almost wished Laito could be present in the shower with her, her naked body conditioned as it was time to take part in such activities. But he was sleeping, and somehow she didn't feel right to be enjoying herself after what had happened last night. It was like a duty to her, to mourn Veye in respect, the least she could do. Though, if Laito wanted to have sex, she wasn't sure if she could reject him exactly.

Turning the water off, she stepped out, drying off a little and putting back on her pale pink night gown. She'd considered using the hair dryer, but this time of day it would probably be rude and disturb the other's. Now her hair was left damp, water beading down onto the material, her already lack of bra leaving her breasts almost visible through it. Yui crossed her arms in embarrassment, realizing how bad of an idea this might have been. At least none of the others were awake yet. She could just run back to her room and change into something more decent. Peeking out the door, the coast was clear.

At least she thought it was until someone's hands met her shoulders from behind, causing her to flinch in fear. "Nfufu, Bitch-chan, did you think you were alone?~" Laito giggled in her ear, kissing and nibbling on her ear lobe soon afterwards, his sharp fangs pricking her skin.

The blonde didn't mind his affection so much, just was a bit worried as they were right in the middle of the hallway. "Laito-kun, what're you doing up this early?" Yui peered back at him, their gem-like eyes meeting each other, their desires hanging in the air.

"I heard the shower going and was curious who it was." He explained, his lustful gaze meeting her body, the girl catching on and quickly covering herself. This only caused the vampire to smirk, and perhaps turn him on more that she felt the need to hide from him. "Hmm, are you trying to seduce me? Wearing such a provocative outfit will only result in one thing..." His hands went around to her front, pulling her arms until the blonde gave in and allowed him to touch her breasts, pinching her nipples through the fabric.

Yui let out a soft moan as she felt her body weaken, leaning up against Laito as he fondled her from behind. "U-uhm, not that I'm rejecting you but can we do this back in your room?" She asked, cheeks heating up in embarrassment as she watched the hallway, hoping one of the others wouldn't decide to walk down any time soon. "I'm just scared... you know... that someone will see."

"I don't know, I rather like touching you -here-, Bitch-chan." The red head giggled mischievously, one of his hands lowering, going between her thighs and rubbing her opening through her panties. This caused her to moan again, panting in pleasure as he touched her most sensitive area. "And when you make such sounds I can't possibly stop." His voice had become huskier and aroused, turning Yui on even more so.

The more he rubbed, the wetter she became, readying herself for sex, wishing to have something inside of her for real- whether that be his tongue, his length or even his finger. Yui lifted her arm and hooked it around the boy's neck, his fangs now sinking into the nape of her own. "Laito-kun... Oh, Laito-kun..." Laito moaned too as he licked and slurped, the taste of her blood bringing him to ecstasy. It seemed to taste even better nowadays. It'd take all of the self restraint he had not to suck her dry. "Bitch-chan... I want to have a shower together. Do you want to have a shower with me?~" He asked, his tone almost begging. He wanted to see it, the water beading down her small body, bare and writhering in lust for him.

Too stimulated to speak, she simply nodded, the two finding their way into the bathroom she'd just exited from. After getting unclothed, Laito pushed Yui up against the shower wall, the hot water spraying down on them as they made out passionately. Lifting her leg up, his hand tight on her thigh, he positioned himself at her entrance, the blonde letting out a small whine when he entered inside of her. The boy thrusted his hard member in and out at a steady pace, not overly fast but more than enough to keep them both satisfied.

Without his hat, Laito's wild hair fell free, looking more attractive than ever, the water running through it and down his slender body. The way his green eyes contrasted with his red hair, such a combination so unusual that left him exotically handsome. "Ah... Laito, I love you so much..." Yui panted, wrapping her arms around him, feeling down his bare back. Having him inside of her felt so good, they fit so perfectly now, the girl never wanting any other man but him to make her feel this way. No other man but him -could- make her feel this way.

Laito smiled lightly, slowing down his pace to reply to her. "I love you too, Bitch-chan. I'm so glad you're not denying your urges anymore. Nfu, you must admit after last night that we make the perfect team.~"

Yui tried to smile back at him, such a suggestion only causing her feel uneasy over the death she'd witnessed- the death she'd almost been the cause of herself. She hugged him tighter, his offer to kill Veye for her probably one of the sweetest things he'd done. It didn't make sense to the blonde how this promiscuous boy had grown to love someone like her. Maybe she didn't even believe it herself but when he held her like this and made love to her, it just felt right. It was uncertain if he felt the same way about it, maybe it was just 'sex' to him, but he put up a good act if so.

Their bodies met before parting, each thrust out leaving them longing for when he'd reach that deepest point inside of her, when they were the closest together. Laito increased his pace, pounding her harder against the wall. Yui didn't mind however, in so much pleasure, a little pain was unable to be felt, or maybe even felt good- to know he was in control of her. His dominance was something she rather enjoyed- but would never admit to it.

Yui could feel the vampire panting hard against her ear, making her feel satisfied that she could pleasure him, that he kept coming back to her for more. That was one of his reasons how he knew she was special to him and the very fact of was comforting now. It was strange how she could feel so dead and defeated just for him to make her feel so loved and happy all in the same hour.

"Bitch-chan... I'm going to cum soon..." The red head warned, his words causing the girl to blush despite how many times it had happened before. Part of her really wanted him to cum inside of her, but knew such a thing couldn't happen- at least not now. As the sex met it's finale, Laito leaned down to give his girlfriend a passionate kiss, the last part needed to finish their act. Yui opened her mouth to ask something, wanting to know the reasons why Laito had decided he loved her but... being naked right now was already vulnerable enough, let alone bringing up -that-. Her cheeks tinted pink as she looked off to the side, feeling too shy to look at him unclothed. The vampire grinned at her before he left the shower, going to dry off and put his clothes back on.

The girl did the same, ending up in the same predicament with the thin night gown, crossing her arms to block her small chest. To her surprise, Laito had given her his blazer, a playful smile on his face. "Bitch-chan doesn't want the others to see her naughty parts, ne?"

Yui accepted it with a small blush, putting her arms through the sleeves that ended up just a bit too long. "I don't, but since when did you care about what I wanted?" She asked, not bitterly but honestly curious.

"Hmm? Not even a thank you?" Laito tilted his head with confusion. "You just cut straight to the chase, nfufu. Well, I guess you could say it's a mutual agreement at this point- I don't want to share Bitch-chan with the others anymore." He admitted, seeming a bit ashamed from his sudden selfishness. His mother had always taught him that it was the 'good' thing to share but... since she was no longer around maybe it was okay to have Yui to himself. The blonde didn't seem to mind after all.

"Of course." Yui smiled happily. "I only belong to you, Laito-kun."

The vampire smiled lightly in return, his soft expression warming her heart. Perhaps it worried Laito to feel so strongly towards the human girl but there was no going back now.

To be honest Yui was worried over this 'dinner party', which was actually just a cover up for Reiji to interrogate everyone about the current murders and his missing potions. She had to hope the triplets didn't have anything cruel planned for her. If it came to saving themselves, they would definitely throw her under the bus, so to speak. Maybe not Laito though... It was hard to say. He had admitted to loving her now, but things didn't seem much different in the way he treated her- or maybe she just hadn't noticed.

School had went by rather quickly, nothing too far from the usual happening. The rumors still circled around about the now two dead girls, and of course Reiji was displeased about that, rather certain the culprit, or culprits were part of his family. His first guess would be the triplets, the troublemakers of the group so they were already at a disadvantage.

"Nfu, so are you as excited as I am about getting interrogated?~" Laito teased as him and Yui walked down to the dinner hall in the Sakamaki mansion.

The girl wasn't sure how he'd ever be excited for such a thing, but it was -him- so she wasn't too surprised. Her hand shifted over to his own, her small fingers entwining with his. The anxiety she now felt had increased the closer they got to the dinner party, a heavy feeling in her chest. "I'm scared actually." Yui admitted, feeling him give her hand a squeeze. He was... comforting her?

"Don't be scared of Reiji, Bitch-chan. What's the worst he could do?" The vampire grinned, his words not as helpful as he thought. There was plenty of things he could do...

The two walked into the dinner hall, a couple of the other's already taken their seats- Subaru and his girlfriend from school. Yui had never exactly met the other girl before but seeing her now she was really pretty, dark hair and forest green eyes. She may have caught a glimpse of her before at the school dance. Yeah, that was where she saw her before.

Laito grabbed the blonde's hand excitedly as the thought occurred to him, dragging her over to the other couple. As the two walked over, Subaru watched Laito like a hawk, knowing his older brother was not one to be trusted. "You've never met Jackie before, ne? It's like when Bitch-chan meets Bitch-chan, nfufu." The red head giggled with amusement.

Ignoring his joke, Yui smiled kindly, looking Jackie in the eyes briefly before glancing away- not so much to come off as rude though. "Hi, I'm Yui Komori. It's nice to meet you." She wondered how much this girl knew about the Sakamaki's considering her short time dating Subaru, used to being the only girl for so long. It was kinda intimidating and made her feel self conscious but those feelings were held back.

Jackie looked up at the small blonde, leaning against Subaru with her head on his shoulders. They sure looked comfortable together- It was kinda cute. "Pleasure." She said casually, looking Yui over with curiosity. "So, tell me. Why is a girl, so innocent as you, giving this pervert your innocent sex?" Behind her Subaru scoffed a little in laughter, but she seemingly ignored it.

The blonde blushed immediately, caught off guard as she didn't expected the other to be so forward. "I-I love him." Looking down, she tried to think of justification for that, but there wasn't really much to say. "Uhm, there's really more to Laito-kun than just being a pervert. He's fun and can be sweet sometimes too." Yui gave a small smile. Was she trying to convince Jackie or herself? Though, those things were true to an extent- the vampire did have his moments.

And as if to totally contradict her, Laito cut in. "Nfu, so Subaru-kun have you popped her cherry yet?" He looked to his younger brother with a grin, the other frowning in return. "Oh? Judging by that face I'm guessing no? If you don't hurry up then another man will.~"

"Please stop it. It's not nice to speak about these things at the dinner table- or at all." Yui begged, clutching onto his arm with embarrassment. Surely Jackie must've thought she was stupid for being with such a person.

Jackie looked at Laito with an unreadable face, just blinking.

Subaru however, snarled at his older sibling, "Shut up will ya? I can't do anything with her injured right now, not even drink." He was referring to one of Reiji's earlier punishments for interrupting the last dinner party, leaving the young girl whipped and abused in result of it.

Unfazed by Subaru's comment to Laito, Jackie took a deep breath, deciding carefully on her next choice of words. "It's ok, Yui. I'm cool with this topic." She looked to Laito next. "I'll let Subaru know when I want him to take me, besides, I'd rather let it be him than someone like you who likes rushing things. Let me heal first then I might let him."

"Hey, you don't need to rush things here. I'm fine with not doing you at all." The light haired vampire admitted.

"At all? Hmm, you mean for the rest of my life?" Jackie teased.

Yui watched as the two carried on with each other, seeming very close. It was kind of sweet to see the younger vampire so happy. Did her and Laito have a relationship like that? Probably not, all he did was humiliate her... which had a strange turn on to it. Wait, no it didn't!

Laito chuckled before chiming in. "Hm? I don't think it matters if she's injured or not. A little pain might just make it even better, ne?~ Bitch-chan agrees with me.~"

"I don't know." The blonde said unsurely, not wishing to agree to such a thing but not wanting to shoot him down either.

"Ahhh.~" The older sibling reminisced, bringing his hands up to his face as he blushed. "I still remember when me and Bitch-chan did it for the first time. You see, my Bitch-chan is a nympho so she let me have sex with her right after admitting her feelings for me. Of course I'd tried many times before but a certain brother of mine was very possessive at the time, nfu." He peered to Ayato with a smirk, the other already had taken his seat.

"Shut up." Said triplet mumbled. "You better sit down before Reiji comes in, we don't need him more pissed off than he already is."

"Hmm?~ It doesn't matter to me how pissed off he is. We did nothing wrong after all." Laito winked, adding suspicion to anyone who didn't already know he was a culprit. None the less the two took their seats, Yui sitting beside the other human girl while her boyfriend sat on her left side. Kanato and Shu had shown up as well, now just waiting on Reiji.

Everyone looked up as the second eldest entered the room, the blonde clutching her hands together nervously under the table. Of course he would start with the 'weakest link', probably her or Jackie. Nothing was said as the dark haired vampire took his seat, a pissed off expression plastered on his face. It was even more frightening that he had kept so quiet. Just what was going on in his head?

"You all may eat. I wont be questioning anyone until it's time for dessert." He announced, refusing to look at the others as a few butlers came in to serve food. Yui was a bit reluctant to eat, unsure if Reiji had used potions or anything like that on it. She couldn't exactly refuse though... that would look strange and maybe suspicious.

After the awkward dinner, the glasses wearing vampire clasped his hands together in front of him, his sights on one of his younger brothers- Kanato. "I'm sorry to say but there will be no dessert until these matters are cleared up. Surely the one upset about this most would be you, Kanato. It's really a shame, I had so many sweet options picked out tonight. Now, who stole my potions and who has murdered the girls from our school?" His last sentence came off more threatening than the rest. He was going to find out who this was and teach them how dire those consequences would be.

The smaller vampire practically hissed at his brother's blackmail, slamming a hand down on the table. He knew how much he much he loved dessert and now he was using it against him! Yui could feel the impact all the way from the other side. She didn't think Kanato-kun would rat out his brothers but maybe when sweets were on the line... "That's not fair!" He shouted, kicking under the table as his tears starting welling up out of frustration. "Me and Teddy didn't do anything! Why us? Why not start with Laito and Ayato?"

Reiji smirked, even though Kanato thought he'd just mentioned random names, the other couldn't help but think he was onto something. "That's a good idea. Why didn't I start with Laito and Ayato?" He gave said brothers a challenging expression, the blonde hoping she wouldn't have to be involved. "Or maybe I'll even start with Yui." Or maybe that was too much to ask.

"W-why me? Why would I want to steal your potion or murder people?" Yui asked, all eyes on her making her uncomfortable. Ayato's and Kanato's eyes were saying 'rat and I'll kill you' while Laito just seemed amused by it all.

"That's a good question. I'm sure you'd all be fascinated to know this information I've found out." The second eldest announced with a laugh, glad to put her on the spot with this one. "The night of the dance I was checking the cameras from the driveway and what do I see? Yui Komori, the first to come home and coming home in her gym clothes at that. What happened to your dress?"

"I-I spilled something on it." The blonde saved, or at least she thought she had.

"Oh? Why not just bring it home to be cleaned? Is it less embarrassing to come home in gym clothes than in a stained dress?"

"I... uhm..." She began, face heating up as she tried to think of an excuse.

Laito hit his hand lightly on the table, giggling when the attention fell on himself. "Okay, I'll admit I asked Bitch-chan to come home in her gym clothes. I have a fetish for those kinds of outfits, so innocent yet hot at the same time, nfufu." His cheeks tinted pink as he thought about it. "Ah, those tight little shorts showing off her ass, licking up Bitch-chan's sweat, it just makes me so-"

"Enough." Reiji said with irritation, fixing his glasses to hide how uncomfortable he felt. "I should punish you just for saying something so vulgar at my dinner table."

Laito had... saved her? embarrassed her, but he'd really came to her rescue? Yui couldn't help but smile a little, holding it back so she wouldn't look suspicious.

"Nfu, well you asked, Reiji-kun. I'm just being her alibi. I mean, stuff like this is important for the investigation, right?~ About the dress, when Bitch-chan was saying about spilling something on it... I don't think I'd use the verb spilled persay..." The perverted vampire put his hand up to his chin as he thought it over. "Maybe like something squirted on it, nfufu."

Yui covered her face with her hands as it burned bright red. He just had to take this as far as possible, didn't he? Not like this stuff was actually true, just to force Reiji to stop questioning them- unless he wanted to hear more of her and Laito's sex life. Her and the other two triplets had to admit though, he sure was good at getting Reiji to shut up.

"We don't need your sex stories at this time." Subaru's girlfriend interrupted. The vampire glared at her for ruining his fun, also wondering who this new girl thought she was. It wasn't like she was the sacrificial bride, she didn't even belong here if it wasn't for Subaru. "Right now we need to focus on who murdered the girls and keeping you guys hidden from society."

Jackie turned to Reiji, the blonde also wondering what she was up to. Subaru's girlfriend didn't know anything about the murders, did she? "Who exactly were the girls? Social rankings, popularity, appearances, anything that could help narrow down the list more to figure it out." Reiji was surprised in the girl's question and statement, not thinking she'd help after his previous punishment for her.

"You need to stay out of this! This is none of your damn business!" Ayato yelled at her. For once, Yui found herself agreeing with the triplet. Things couldn't get out about Laito being a murderer. She better not put her nose where it didn't belong unless they might have to...

"It is my business because if the police found out it was one of you, you'll be in trouble. Even if they had to search the place, I know full well that they would find a lot more than they bargained for. You guys have been killing girls sent to you for food for years. If they find that out... well I'm not going to stand by to let that happen! I want to help and nothing you say is going to stop me." Jackie pressed.

Ayato sat back down, grumbling.

"I believe that the second girl was a 3rd year if I'm not mistaken." Shu said, speaking up for the first time during the dinner. A few were surprised he was even listening. "I'm not positive on the 1st."

"In any case we need to hurry up and decide before the mortals decide to look here." Said Subaru. "Even if you want to help, also know your place here."

"Of course I will." Jackie replied with full promise in her voice.

Reiji cleared his throat, trying to remind everyone who exactly was in charge. "The first girl was a 2nd year, neither bodies found, just missing. They weren't very popular, but not exactly unpopular either, both dark hair, attractive by normal standards, from decently wealthy families, as to be expected attending our school. Is the detective satisfied?" He turned to Jackie with a smug smirk, proving he knew far more than she assumed about the case. "Seems a bit suspicious that you're so worried about this matter. Trying to cover up for a certain culprit? Perhaps you know something, Subaru?" He glanced to his brother then. "Was it Ayato? Or Maybe Laito? After causing you -so- much trouble at the last dinner party maybe you want some revenge on him?"

He was hinting at the fact that Laito was indirectly the cause of Subaru's punishment from the last dinner party, in result having his beloved girlfriend whipped and abused in front of him by Reiji. Thankfully the youngest hadn't ratted them out, probably not knowing anything anyway. Yui and the triplets had made sure to keep things on a need to know basis, just between the four of them.

Reiji then began to question Subaru and Jackie on their where abouts on the dance night, both having fairly good alibi's. This interrogation was really going no where.

"Why don't we just let this go? It's so boring with all of this he said, she said. Just as long the authorities don't come looking here, who cares who butchered those chicks." Ayato complained, tapping his hand against the table impatiently. Little did he know, he'd just raised the others suspicions as to why he was so eager to end this.

"I have to agree." Reiji nodded, looking around at the faces of his brothers as well as the two human girls. "However, I'm not one to give up. As it seems nobody wants to confess, I'll just have to kick this interrogation up a notch. After this conversation I was able to create a prime suspect list."

Ayato's eyes widened by his statement, hoping he himself wasn't on that list.

"My prime suspect is Ayato. I've noticed you've been uneasy all night, hoping for this conversation to end. While I have no solid proof, it seems likely you were involved somehow. Second, Laito." The glasses wearing vampire furrowed his eyebrows in disgust as he mentioned said brother. "Due to past events, such crude behavior is assumed from you and I can't help but think you've involved Yui and maybe Kanato somehow. I'd like for you four to come down the waterway with me for further interrogation."

The middle triplet growled at his brother's accusation, slamming his fork down on the table. "This isn't fair! What makes you believe that? Me and Teddy haven't done anything wrong! It was -all- them! -All- Laito and Ayato!"

"What the hell, Kanato!" Ayato growled, glaring at him- and if looks could kill his brother would be dead. "He's a liar! A liar trying to save his own ass!"

"My my, we've been found out already, huh?" Laito said with disappointment through the commotion.

"-You- shut up! Wait- see, he admits it!" The other barked before trying to save himself, all the while Reiji just smirked.

"Let's go, whoever doesn't listen to my orders now will be the same as pleading guilty." He threatened. "I don't doubt you're innocent, but you can't prove it to me unless you tell me who the correct culprit is."

Yui gulped. Just what did she get herself into now? And after the triplets were getting along so well too...
