Chapter 3

"Close But Yet Far"

Aelita and Odd are seen walking through bushes on the Kadic Academy campus.

"We made it Odd" Aelita said.

"I know. Here's the entrance. Let's take a look shall we?" Odd said to Aelita.

As the two approach, they see a sign on the door that reads 'ENTER AT OWN RISK, RADITION ON PREMESES'

"What happened here?" Aelita asked.

"It looked like something happened in the school…" Odd replied.

The two entered Kadic and started walking to the dormitory wing.

The two arrived at Jeremy's dorm.

"Here it is" Aelita said.

The two entered to find a destroyed room.

"Great. It's trashed." Aelita said.

"But the computer might still work." Odd said

Odd sat down and started tapping on the keyboard, and after a few moments he came across an encrypted folder labeled "Aelita's kidnapping"

"Hey Aelita, can you come and crack an encryption for me." Odd asked.

"Sure." Aelita replied.

After a brief moment, Aelita cracked the encryption.

"I got it. It wasn't easy but I got it." Aelita said.

"Open the first one." Odd said.

The file opened and a video played.

Then memories that Aelita had forgotten about came flooding back.

Aelita then fell out of the chair and started screaming.

Odd then closed the window on the computer.

He picked Aelita up.

"Hey it's ok baby. I'm here and Jeremy will never hurt you like that again." Odd said in a reassuring voice.

Then the two walked into the hallway.

Then something began beeping.

"Odd. What the hell is that?" Aelita asked.

"It's C-4." Odd said. "Run!" Odd yelled.

The two sprinted down the hallway to the corridor. Then Aelita fell.

"ODD HELP!" Aelita Screamed.

"AELITA!" Odd Yelled.

Then the C-4 Detonated.

As the smoke cleared, Odd saw Aelita laying face into the ground.

Odd ran to her to find the lower half of her body is missing.

"Odd, I want you to find Will, and kill that sick twisted son of a bitch." Aelita said.

"I will." Odd replied.

The two kissed.

Then Aelita died.

'CLAP. CLAP. CLAP'

A slow clap came from the corner of the room.

"Oh what a shame. It's almost like she didn't want to die." Jeremy said.
