Asyree's POV

When we stepped into the portal we thought we would be okay, no need to try to balance ourselves or stop from flipping uncontrollably.

We did just that.

We screamed in fear as we tried to control ourselves in the portal, but I couldn't tell what direction we faced or what was up or down.

This crap went on for what felt like days, literally days, in the pocket dimension.

It was actually about ten minutes.

We finally exited the portal.

Thing is, we were hundreds of feet in the air, and too dizzy tell how close we were to impact.

I shook myself, trying to recover and see what we might hit when we land.

My vision finally became clear and I saw were plummeting toward the ground.

I tried to flap my winds, but I couldn't.

Damn, must be an effect from the portal I thought.

I glanced at Spyro, "Can you flap your wings?" I said.

Spyro stopped panicking and looked at me, "What?" he said, having trouble hearing with so much wind.

"Can you flap your-"I didn't finish, because we hit something and I blacked out.

I didn't expect what happened next.

Something was carrying us somewhere.

It smelled terrible, like what you smelled when trash was mixed with ape manure.

And when we infiltrated the base, we smelled both.

I opened my eyes to see us being carried by a HUGE dragon. He even carried me and Spyro with ease.

The dragon had orange scales, a yellow underbelly, blue wings, and 3 large horns.

We were in a prison, with hundreds of dragons in there.

Some of them taunted and threatened us.

"I saw meteorites! You looked exactly like 'em!"

"I prayed for a way out. I'll use your heads!"

I decided I hated all of them.

The dude carrying us stopped at cells at the end of the hall. He opened them both, tossed me and Ali into one and Spyro and Cyrus into the other.

Of course we had chains that restricted any use of elements.

"Why are we here? All we did was FALL OUT OF THE SKY!" Ali said.

The orange dragon grunted and left through a door as an ape and a dragon came in. The dragon had black scales, black wings, and a night blue underbelly, with 2 horns on his head. He and the ape stopped in front of us.

"These are the four. They fell out of the sky suddenly and the guards saved them and brought them here. They hit them hard and they blacked out though," the ape said.

He was wearing battle armor and for an ape he didn't smell horrible. Nor was he fighting to destroy everything.

In this dimension are the apes' allies? I thought.

"Ugh, more beings from that place. I suggest we question them, then kill them," the black dragon said.

"Why you wouldn't want to kill little ol' me," Ali said, "I came here to save your sorry behinds!"

My son gets like this sometimes. I'd find it hilarious under different circumstances.

"What are your names, and why do you dare come into Nificent's dimension?" the black dragon declared arrogantly.

Spyro spoke up, "We came here to save your world and ours, and we mean no harm," he said, trying to bite back anger of his own.

I didn't blame him. I was curious as to why the hell they captured us when we did nothing at all.

Nififcent snarled, "You are just lying, you want to destroy this place and take it for yourselves."

"Where's your proof? We were falling to our deaths, what harm could we really have done out in an unpopulated area like that?" Cyrus said.

Nififcent was momentarily silenced, but his arrogant voice rose again, "I think I should kill you and that one over there," he said pointing to my son.

Ali growled and was about to speak but I cut him off, "We speak to your leader or we bust out of here. Your choice, you society reject."

Nificent was about to bomb at a comeback, but the ape spoke, "I believe them. I will go get the Guardian. She will want to know about their quest."

He left with Nificent, who growled and glared all the way out.

"I can tell we're going to love that guy," Cyrus said.

"Yep," Spyro said.

For the next ten minutes we sat there, listening to cussing convicts.

Finally, their Guardian came in.

She was decked in battle armor, so much I couldn't tell her scale color or what she really looked like. She was about as big as the Guardians in our world. She had 3 large horns protruding from her head.

She stopped in front of our cells with Nificent right behind her.

"You are the dragons that came from the other world?"

We all nodded.

She turned to Nificent, "Give me your key, please."

Nificent jumped back like he'd been asked to rip his own heart out, "No. Do not let these potiential criminals out! What if they work for-"

"Now" she said, becoming impatient.

Nificent handed her his key reluctantly, "I'm coming for you the moment you screw up," he threatened.

The guardian opened our cell, and unlocked our shackles," I am sorry for the trouble, Nificent is always this incompetent. He never really thinks," she said.

Nificent protested, "But these guys could-"

"You sent those dragons out, and saved them, them arrested them, without a second thought. They didn't have the symbol on them, but yet you still brought them in," she said.

Nificent was almost silenced, "But these dragons-"

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" We all roared, tired of his arrogance and stupidity.

"Nificent, you are dismissed," the guardian said.

Nificent finally left for good, taking jabs from all the imprisoned dragons and my son.

"I hope you remember to shower, because you smell like…"

I love my son. He takes after me in so many ways.

The guardian removed her helmet. She had yellow scales under.

"My name is Hiali, and I protect this part of this world. I know what your quest is, to defeat the Army of Anaheim. I can take you to my temple, and we can discuss there what to do about the battle," she offered.

I nodded, "We are the ones who may have a chance against their leader. Take us there,"

"Good, then let's move," she said, walking toward the exit and opening a door.

When we passed through it, we saw a large staircase, meaning we were underground. Now that I thought of it, it was kind of stuffy and smelled like dirt.

We climbed that huge staircase. I realized we were hundreds of feet deep.

We finally came to the top, and there was a huge door blocking what I hoped was the outside.

Why so secured? I thought.

Hiali grabbed a crystal from her bag from nowhere, literally nowhere, and placed it into a slot in the door.

It shook for a minute then open slowly. We all stepped out of a cave entrance and looked at the land.

And the stuff I saw wasn't pretty.
