The beginning of the end for Holly and Oliver

At the beginning of The Future Me Oliver is late to work because he was "cleaning house" and kept finding things to throw out. This story was prompted by my friend Jan Miller who wondered what that might look like. This is my first story from Oliver's point of view so I hope I do it justice. I intended to do one chapter but I think it will need at least two. Hope you enjoy!

An interesting twist for the story of For Christmas with more heaven input.

Oliver writes to his uncle

What was Oliver thinking during this pivotal episode and what was his actions outside of the scenes leading up to some of the powerful scenes we witnessed? That is what has always struck me about Dark of Night. I will attempt to lay out my thoughts on this.

It's a rainy night, Shane watches Oliver mail the dreaded letter to Holly. Her dreams are shattered.

Oliver and Shane walk back after their first official date. The date ends with a beautiful kiss, only to be followed by some bad news.

I've wondered why Shane and Becky, self-professed best friends in DC, didn't stay in touch after Shane's move to Denver. Becky's question about Shane being in the Dead Letter Office instead of Direct Line Operations had me thinking they'd not spoken in the several months since Shane's move. The characters belong to the brilliant Martha Williamson. I'm just playing with them.

Oliver opens up - Confessions about a certain Treasure Box in a bank vault.

Oliver unburdens himself to Tony, his uncle and confidant in a letter.

Shane is moving to a new city. But what is she really thinking? How is she processing the changes in her life? I did initially think that Shane would keep an electronic diary, but then again, maybe she wouldn't as she might have some artwork that would accompany these images. I am so sorry! I know these are not popular but I just can't seem to stop writing such woeful poetry! The poems continue to unremarkable, but it is such a guitly pleasure to write so badly. I need an SSD Christmas fix so I making my own. Of course, the characters all belong to the amazing Martha Williamson, but I must borrow them and give them a festive spin. This is not really a story, but rather a collection of very short stories all based around Christmas.
