Personal
Ali's POV
We all were in the training room, going over what we were all taught.
My dad made sure I knew what I needed to know. I couldn't blame him for the strictness, since this fight would be one that determines one of two things:
Salvation or Destruction.
I'd choose the first option.
Anyway, it was just after sunset when we'd finished. The mountain had a hole at its peak.
I hope this isn't a volcano I thought that could end badly.
We were all done and I decided to bring up the topic of it.
"So we're here huh?" I said, "Going to fight…"
Spyro nodded, "We are, and I don't know about this."
He sounded nervous, shakiness in his voice.
"We should stay optimistic. Remember that Nificent will most definitely "kill" us if we try anything," my dad said, trying to lift our spirits.
We laughed, but of course the thoughts returned.
"How will we win?" Cyrus said, refusing to hold it in, "We cannot transform, none of us can."
"We still have to try," I said.
We all nodded. I knew how important this already was, but I'd promised Shia I'd be back. I'd promised I'd see her again. I couldn't let her down and break that promise.
Suddenly an overwhelming anger feeling had wrapped around me. Things became a blur as my thoughts focused on one thing:
Rage
I couldn't control my actions. It was a complete blur.
When I finally came to, I was in a grudge match against Cyrus. His scales were a jet black, with a dark aura around him. His eyes were pure white.
I couldn't hear anything, but I saw my dad pushing me away from Cyrus, and Spyro doing the same to him.
I looked at my scales as I got up, and they were returning to red from black. My father was shaking me when I completely got full control of my body again.
"…Ali! Are you alright!?" He said to me.
I looked at him as my vision cleared," What happened?" I said.
"Both you and Cyrus became dark and just attacked each other," he said.
Spyro helped Cyrus up,"How did this happen? Neither of you were even mad."
"I don't know. I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon," Cyrus said.
Suddenly a deep, distorted voice laughed from nowhere.
"You see? I can tap into anyone's emotions," it said.
We looked for him, but didn't see him. Hiali ran into the room.
"I see I am not the only one" she says.
"Good. I see all of the strongest warriors hear my message" the voice laughed again.
"Were you the one that caused our sons to transform?" Spyro asked him.
Suddenly a dragon face materialized in front of all of us. He had scales and scratches all over his face. He had creepy yellow eyes.
"Oh yes. I said I can tap into emotions. I used whatever thing that has angered them before, and it all exploded out," the dragon said.
We growled when he finished, and he'd only chuckled.
"You've proven my point without me even trying," he said, "I can't wait to destroy you," he said.
"No. You have caused too much pain and destruction. You won't survive this," I said.
"You cannot defeat me. You are running out of time, and you have much less than you think," he said.
"What are talking about? We have days-"
"You have until tomorrow afternoon," he said, "We have changed our plans. I will let you know now in case you want to give up. I might give you a less painful death."
We looked at each other then back to him.
One day left? I thought.
"We will NOT give up!" my dad said.
The evil dragon laughed again, "let me give you all a reason…"
Suddenly his head disappeared and flashed to Spyro's home. It was late at night there too, and it was just Cynder and my mother sleeping.
"Give up or…." He began.
Suddenly a white mist wrapped around them. They woke up and screamed in horror. They struggled and struggled until finally they both disappeared.
"That just happened. They aren't dead, but that can change…" he taunted.
I was angry. The angriest I've ever been in my life.
"LEAVE THEM ALONE!" I yelled.
I looked at over and I saw that my dad, Spyro, and Cyrus were all shaky with anger. They began to yell out curses at the dragon. Through them, they said they won't give up.
"I see. Let's raise the stakes," the dragon continued.
He put up to different views: one of Shia sleeping in her dorm and Tina in another.
The same mist wrapped around both of them.
They didn't stand a chance, and they were taken as well.
I was pushed far before. Now I couldn't hold it in.
"You…. Monster…." I said as my scales darkened," I… will… KILL YOU!"
I became dark completely again, my voice distorted.
Electricity escaped from my maw, meaning I truly was like the purple dragons. That wasn't important to me then though.
I raised my head and began to charge a blue colored element. The ground shook dangerously as the blue light lit up the temple and the night.
"DIE!" I roared.
I spit the beam dead at the evil dragons face. The temple shook horribly and my friends took cover from the wind I created.
The beam blasted straight through the dragon's face and blasted through the temple side.
Everything shook even worse. The beam kept going and I heard a large explosion.
It cut a large hole into the mountain and fires were all around it.
I stopped my rage seconds after that. My darkness left me and I buckled for a minute.
"Hmph" the dragon said before leaving us.
Everyone crowded around me.
"Ali, are you alright?!" Spyro said.
"No" I said, "he just made this more personal."
"And we will kill him for it. But what the hell was that?" Ali said.
"That" a familiar voice said "is a way to beat him."
It was Ignitus's voice. I didn't know how he was talking to us, but I was glad to hear his voice.
"Ignitus! How are you-"
"That isn't important now young dragons. But the type of element Ali'd just used could help defeat him," Ignitus said.
"How can it?" I asked.
"When Spyro and Asyree used the Light form, it wasn't really the form and the breath. The form just added a different look. The breath itself is what really determines the strength," Ignitus said.
We nodded, waiting for him to finish.
"Each of you can use four of the strongest uh, "versions" of the elements. Ali just used the fire type" Ignitus said," That may be the only way to win this war."
"I see. We may still have hope after all" Hiali said.
"Then I wish you all the best of luck young dragons" Ignitus said.
He went quiet, meaning he'd left us.
"Well boys," Hiali said, sounding confident," you should get to sleep. For tomorrow, you have a war to win."
Hey guys, this story will end tomorrow and I will try to post the chapter(s) at around 12:00 clock. I am thinking of a sequel crossover, and a familiar Sega character might be sent there. If you guys like the idea let me know by review or pm, please!
