(Amy's POV)

Three weeks later

Things between Taylor and I didn't get any better. Sometime we would greet each other in the hall but nothing more. She had her friends and I had mine. Speaking of which I have finally begun to come out of my shell. Don't get me wrong I haven't lost all my shyness but I have begun to feel more comfortable in large groups. Therefore I have been able to make new friends as well. Tonight I'm sitting on my bed while Alice tugs at my stupid hair with my zebra stripped brush. "Amy sit still or we are going to be late for the dance!" Did I forget to mention that the Valentine's day dance is tonight.

"Chill Alice you'll have your time with Lloyd," I say as a light blush dances on her cheeks.

"Shut up," she mumbles. After she finished with my hair she moved to do my makeup.

"Are we done we have to meet Nadia and Gracie in ten minutes," I complain. After applying my eyeliner she nodds yes and I'm out the door.

"Amy! Wait up!" She calls. Rolling my eyes I stand there and wait for her to catch up. "Hey I know your excited to see your boyfriend, Cole but seriously slow down!"

" He is not my boyfriend," I say. Yes I know I've had a million chances to tell him but truth is I'm a complete I walk down the path only to be faced with a dark-haired chick. "Hey Nadia!" I say with a smile.

"Oh Nadia you wore your hair down and curled it!" Alice sequels in delight. Nadia always has her hair up and it's always in a ponytail.

"Thanks!" She says and we all climb in Gracie's car. The whole way was filled with chatter and laughter. It was the best!

Finally we arrived at the school and as soon as we walked through the doors I could hear the sounds of laughter in the four of us made our way in. Luckily we weren't to late. It was about ten seconds before Gracie,Nadia and Alice took off to find their dates. Sighing I walked into one of the bathrooms nearby and ripped out the bow that Alice placed in my hair. That was better. I waited a few more minutes before leaving the room that's when I bumped into someone.

"Ouch!" I cry.

"We really need to stop bumping into each other like this," someone says. (From MLP Film :P)

"Oh Cole I'm so sorry!" I say. He smiles and tells me it's alright. After a few minutes of awkward silence Cole asked me if ai would dance with him. "Yes...of course Cole," I say and he takes my hand. I'm practally melting inside. When we walk in I can hear a slow song play and I can see my friends with their dates. Before I can say anything Cole takes me out of the gym and outside. "Uh Cole where are we going?"

"It's a surprise; close your eyes," he says. Confused I shut them tightly. "OK open them." Slowly I open my eyes and I'm surrounded by roses.

"Oh Cole, it's beautiful," I say not believing that this is happening.

"Not as beautiful as you Amy...listen Amy when you came to the hospital to see me and I was going to tell you something but walked in...I was going to tell you...I love you,Amy. I love everything about you, your smile, your laugh but mostly..you," he says. I swear my heart skipped a beat or maybe more than that.

"Cole I don't know what to say."

"Don't say anything." He says as his arms wrap around my waist and he stares at my eyes. Slowly my arms find their way and they snake around his neck. Now we are both so close and our forehead are touching. He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear and smiles.

Just kiss me damnit! I think. Before I know it the words "I love you," escape my lips. Then that's when Cole lays his lips on mine.'It is such a gentle fleeting touch leaving me craving for more. Finally mine! I thought. And I swear in his kiss I heard Mine.
