Chapter 7

Starscream panicked screams flew away with the wind as they were in free fall.

The cold wind whipped his body and his loud screams echoed through the air. He closed his optics firmly, he clung to the body of the dragon, and whispered silent prayers to his creator Primus.

Predaking turned his head slightly and you could see a mischievous grin in his optics as he looked at Starscream at how scared and shocked he was. His gaze then went back to the front. He waited for the right moment, wanted to tease the Decepticon on his back a little more and then the Predacon decided to have teased him enough and within seconds he opened his mighty wings and he sent a fire barrage to the ground, which helped him to regain height.

Starscream shrieked again.

This time in surprise as he was pressed against the huge body under him as the dragon rose rapidly into the sky. The deadly abyss withdrew from them and soon they were flying through the clouds which were already discolored reddish as the sun slowly lowered.

Among them, the world sped rapidly past them as the Predacon continue accelerated and sought his way through the clouds.

However, Starscream had no optics for the beauty of earth, he had other worries, because Predaking flew not calm and gentle through the clouds, but accelerated again and flew some loops, which again made the Decepticon on his back scream.

The Seeker seemed to be at the end with his life, but Predaking was amused at his expense, because he had a lot of fun with the whole situation, because his optics were sparkling with glee.

Once more he flew a loop before he again rose into the air and just before a cloud, he ceased all movements and let himself dropped which made his "passenger" scream again.

"O-okay! OKAY! I get it!" Starscream yelled in desperation as the dragon turned on its own axis during the free fall.

"I was mean to you and that I should not have been. PLEASE! Stop that! I've learned my lesson! I'll never be mean to you again!"

A victorious glint crept into the optics of the Predacon and after another turn of his body he stopped all actions and went on in a gentle glide.

Starscream clutched into the steel skin of the dragon with his claws and held tightly to his neck. His optics were closed and his body was tense and he hardly dared to move, let alone open his optics again.

But when he realized that he was no longer shaken and they no longer flew so wild as before he dared to open one of his optics.

When he opened his second optic, astonishment was now visible on his face.

No wonder at the sight...

They flew through a sea of clouds, which had already turned red.

In front of them the sun went down slowly but surely, disappeared into the sea, which was among them. Warm wind caressed his body, wind whispered something into his audios.

Starscream's lips curved into a gentle smile and his claws dug no longer into the skin of the Predacon. His optics glowed and his smile grew wider with each passing second.

"That's wonderful..." he whispered softly to himself, and he closed his optics, spread his arms and was carried away by the feeling that now flowed through his body: Boundless freedom.

Predaking turned his head slightly to look at the Seeker.

A small smile sparkled in his optics and gently he gained height and flew through a cloud which enveloped their bodies in cotton.

Higher and higher and higher he flew, until he reached his goal.

He gave a faint humming sound, which brought Starscream back into reality and led him to open his optics again in which now reflected the setting sun.

Now flying far above the clouds Starscream just could not get enough of this sight.

The colors of this natural spectacle of earth were simply overwhelming and he wished that this moment would never pass...

But everything had to come to an end, so also this moment.

It ended abruptly when Predaking again went into a nosedive and Starscream immediately clutched firmly at the neck of the dragon.

But this time Predaking had no evil intentions since he did not fly so wild and fast as he had done before.

Faster and faster the sea came up to them as they raced ceaselessly into the depths and shortly before they would fall into the water Predaking spread his mighty wings and flew just above the surface with a rapid speed.

He flew smaller curves, let his wing tips plowing through the rushing water.

Starscream could see his reflection in the water directly below them.

There still was a smile on his lips and he adapted to the movements of the Dragon.

But his smile should disappear quickly, because in Predakings optics appeared a treacherous glitter and without warning he turned around and popped the Seeker under water. But not for long, because only seconds later he turned back and flew some snake lines. With one difference: Starscream was now soaking wet.

"What was that for?" He muttered, as he had found his voice again.

Predaking gave an amused snort and turned his head again to look at the flyer who now growled at him.

"That's not funny!" Grumbled the Decepticon when he could see the amused glint in the optics of the Predacon.

The Dragon snorted with amusement and regained height and he flew to a ledge.

He ignored Starscream's growling at the meantime...
